The hotel was perfectly situated seconds from the gondola. The family room had two terraces with fantastic views of the mountains. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, the beds very comfortable. Beds made and clean towels and extra toilet paper every day! The breakfast was superb - fruit, cereal, pastries, charcuterie, cheese, eggs, bacon, toast, baguette, 5 different types of cake/flans and unlimited tea, coffee and hot chocolate! The staff were so friendly, polite and helpful. A fantastic place to stay.

The views from the room and dining area are magnificent: you literally look at how people ski on the slopes. Also, you see a Télériou ski lift. The room is very warm once the heating is on. It is small but very comfortable and cozy throughout the day. The room is clean, and staff really wants to clean as often as possible. We were chased to be asked if we have everything we need and if we want an extra cleaning after a snowy day. We traveled with our dog, and we can confirm that the hotel is 100% pet friendly: no extra pay, and everyone loves dogs and is gentle with animals. The staff is friendly, kind, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile for you.

Lovely retro hotel with SUPERB view of the mountains from our room yet close to restaurants and buzz of town. The owner was wonderful, very generous in meeting all our needs and his receptionist Pacha ... a huge, very friendly St Bernard ... was a delight! We will return.

The host and hostess were so welcoming and attentive to our every need. I have travelled all over the world and have never experienced such genuine attention. The hotel location cannot be better. The rooms are comfortable and neat. Some of the rooms have balconies facing the mountain with lovely views. These rooms have a south / south west exposition giving you sun on your balcony throughout the day (if the sun is out of course).

Fantastic location, right in the centre of the village with less than a minute walk to the ski lift. Room had a great view of the mountain side and slopes. Super friendly and helpful staff who let us have a very late room check out on our last day so we could ski an extra morning. Fantastic breakfast spread included in the room rate. We loved Pacha, the resident St Bernard dog!

Very friendly hotel with a charming owner and very informal friendly vibe, in the center of the city. Friendly with full warmth and generosity. Would recommend Auron and this hotel to everyone. Merci!
