I was blown away by this place. It is well appointed and very comfortable. The rooms are stylish and a great value. It is well located to explore Reggio Calabria. For Italy, the shower was larger than most, which was very nice. There is a small balcony, which I enjoyed. There is no view, except other buildings, but I liked being able to have a coffee or glass of wine outside. The host was friendly and helpful with suggestions.

The breakfast was at a coffee shop (bar) down the street--less than a 5 minute walk. There was instant coffee in the lobby area, but I would have loved a Nespresso machine or something else.

Our family of 3 couples stayed with Lorenzo for 3 nights. Every room was styled fabulously quirky and retro. Interesting features everywhere. Lorenzo would have to be the friendliest and most helpful host we’ve ever experienced. He gave us tips for good restaurants and a nice beach to visit by train. The bathrooms were modern and very clean. The beds were comfortable.

Our whole stay was marvellous.

Our room was so big, it had two aircos to keep it reasonably cool in the 36 degrees heat of summer outside. The place is nicely decorated - we especially loved the beautiful black bathroom. The owner really made us feel welcome and pointed us to all the city’s sights and attractions, which where all at walking distance. Free, safe valet parking was convenient.

Breakfast was a paid option, but in fact we valued having the option to eat outside every morning while enjoying a low price of our room

Our visit to Reggio Calabria was wonderful, in part because of our stay at Pellicano. It is centrally located so that we could walk to all areas of interest. The apartment was perfect for two couples in terms of arrangement and light and amenities. The large terrace (one of the penthouse apartments) was a delightful surprise with a view toward Sicily. Lorenzo, the owner, was helpful with restaurant recommendations (had two great meals!) and special thanks to Bernadette who was so personable and who manages everything (well!). She was so helpful, even with our laundry. Lorenzo helped with our parking, on street but we also used nearby garage.

Nothing! All was good! The elevator was inconsistent but not a problem.

The host could not have been more helpful. His recommendations were fabulous and he was so flexible and helpful we could not have asked for more. Particularly liked that the host lived on site too which meant everyone was respectful it was lovely and quiet unlike other places we stayed during our trip. Great location near the town centre and there’s an escalator pavement to get you up 90% of the hill!! Husband appreciated the lift up the second floor too. Would highly recommend.

Large penthouse with a view of Sicily and Etna. Comfortable, quiet, large terrace, great little elevator.

AC could have been stronger. Parking garage was close but uphill about 4 or 5 blocks. Neighborhood was convenient but alittle rundown anthough I always felt safe. Cafe’s or markets in the area are sparse but within two or three blocks walk down hill.

the owner is very nice and gives a lot of information. room was super modern and comfy and also the balcony was nice. I liked it a lot. option of making tea and coffee. a lot of privacy. just 5-10 minutes to the center! would recommend!

now there is a breakfast at a bar and not at the b&b which I would have prefered. I never went to the bar so I can't say something about the breakfast there.

Comfortable bed, huge terrace. Two good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms with excellent showers. Daily maid service, free coffee, and a fully stocked honour fridge with prices equal to those on the stores. Friendly and helpful host.

Uphill walk to get there. But then, everything is uphill from the lungomare.

The size of the room was great and the beds were extremely comfortable! It was honestly the best night's sleep I've had in a while. The bathroom was modern. The check-in and out were smooth due to the attentiveness of the caretaker. She was amazing and I really enjoyed talking with her. The location as also great -- just a short walk to the sea. Highly recommend.
