Koko Pulm is a decent accommodation with good service, but I feel the high ratings and glowing reviews are somewhat exaggerated. First and foremost, this is not a hotel, so don’t expect typical hotel amenities like daily room service, regular water replenishment, or in-room facilities common in hotels. The breakfast ranges from average to good—it’s sufficient if you’re not particular about variety. The location is in a newly developed neighborhood, which is pleasant. Since we used taxis, distance within Accra wasn’t a major issue. The main drawback, in my opinion, is the noise levels when other guests are present. The walls are thin, and sound travels easily. Additionally, unlike many accommodations in Accra, Koko Pulm does not offer airport transfers. Overall, it’s suitable for a short stay(1-2 nights), but for longer visits, I believe there are better options available.

We were a party of five and were surprisingly impressed that the property is finished and presented to quite a very good standard that the photos hasn't done it justice. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable with lush towels, and tea and coffee making facilities which add a lovely touch. Plus, the morning breakfast outside under the Gazebo was cool and relaxing. Also, we were rather moved that the manager Jeff responded promptly to messages and was waiting after-midnight to check us in because our flight was severely delayed. He and his team provided water and utensils so we could make a few quick microwave dinners in our room that night because all the restaurants were already closed. So, after our exhausting travels and arriving past midnight the service felt like they truly went the extra mile to personally assist us in settling in for some much need rest.

There are a few excellent options for breakfast ie English, Hausa and American that are available but the list falls short without a vegan option. We were disappointed because I was left without breakfast that was included with the accommodation and was asked by the waitress to pay extra for porridge, bake beans, toast and coffee which more or less constitute a vegan breakfast. So, our one suggestion is that hopefully arrangements could be implemented for a vegan option in the future to possible cater for guests with this dietary choice.

Upon entering, you'll find a quite lovely property. There's a well maintained seating area and bar for guests. The next thing you'll notice is how nice the entire staff was, always willing to help! There's also a second outside area with a pool that is well kept for those interested. Our room was wonderful and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was full stalked and clean, and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast was delicious, and there's a handful of options to choose from. Checking in/out and payment were all very easy (take both cash or credit). Overall, we'll plan to stay here again the next time we are in Accra.

The hotel is very nice and comfortable. Rooms are big and good value. Staff were very helpful and treated us very nicely and going out of their way to make sure we have a great stay even though we only stayed one night arriving late and leaving early!

I liked it a lot. Only thing was breakfast starts a bit late for a hotel very close to the airport I was assuming there would be breakfast available before 8am. But I don't blame the staff as I could have checked this beforehand!

Jeff (Manager) is a pretty nice and hospitable person. He came to check on us couple of times and gave us a welcome traditional Ghana drink. The staffs are great and always willing to help. The facility is beautiful and well designed - cozy. The environment actually has beautiful houses that are pleasing to the eyes. I like the hotel's flooring, design and serenity.

Like every other hotel and places in Accra, transportation is not very easy or comfortable even with Uber/Bolt. It is not the fault of the hotel, it is just due to the road conditions (Govt. responsibility, not the hotel) and heavy traffic is in most part of Accra. The hotel location is closer to Oxford street and airport in terms of distance but road and heavy traffic makes it longer. The trick is not to go out when local people are going to work and make sure you return back to the hotel before the close of work. Apart from the transportation, I will like to see more traditional Ghanian foods on the menu mostly the swallows - I got tired of eating rice and continental dishes/breakfast in Accra.

I loved it. It was so nice and very clean. Well worth the cost. The rooms were very spacious and the bed so comfortable. Bathroom was also spacious and water was always hot. They even left me toothpaste and gave me a welcome drink on arrival. They had a breakfast menu and served breakfast to the room each morning so I was able to try different things which were super delicious. The staff, especially Elizabeth, Deborah and Barry were exceptional. They had an answer to everything, a solution for everything. They were genuinely nice people and I would go back here just to see them again. They even had an in house driver to get you from the airport and he waited for me to sort out my sim and get some food before heading to the hotel which was only a 15 min drive. The pool was nice and I got to sit at the bar outside as well which was pretty cool. The property is perfect if you wanted to book out a whole place for a family gathering.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They booked us taxi's every time we were going out. They always made sure the air-con was on when we used the lounge to chat with friends and/or watch the football.

The breakfast menu was very limited. There was no buffet or cereals, pastries, yoghurts etc. to choose from. Breakfast was served to our rooms on a tray or to a quiet but small seating area outside. It would have been nice to 'hand-pick' our breakfast and have the option of sitting indoors.

The staff were very friendly. The property was clean, comfortable and felt at home. The breakfast was great, with different options to choose from and the option for room service or outdoors for fresh air. The sausage was on POINT. The outdoor bar area was a great place to spend time, there was also an outdoor gym as well. The outdoor swimming area was super clean with showers, changing rooms and seating. The owner Jeff was very friendly and welcoming, coming to say goodbye when we were leaving and made sure we enjoyed our stay. If you are travelling with a family, it is the BEST place to go. Felt very safe and secure. Also amazing if you want a quiet and private stay/space. I would highly recommend and will be visiting again.

We were arriving on a late flight and as the restaurant closed at 8.30 pm, Elizabeth sent me the menu so we could order our food in advance and she had it ready for us when we arrived. She was fantastic from when we arrived to when we left. The room was a great size for a family of 4. All the staff went above and beyond for us. We had breakfast outside in the beautiful garden area, and we were treated like royalty. The pool area was beautiful. The attention to detail in the gardens and around the pool was inspiring. It is a fabulous place to stay and only 10 minutes from the airport. Would definitely stay again.
