The breakfast was delicious as explained by Booking. The staff was friendly and the room cleaning was impeccable. However, the trip itself was unreasonable due to the too hot weather, and the restaurants around it seemed to have been unreasonable to operate. Overall, the hotel level is thought to be appropriate for the price.

It's too hot, and I don't think exploration of the Pongya area is suitable for this season either.

Good location, breakfast, staff and atmosphere. Some parts of the hotel are a little different to the booking.com photos. Overall a good hotel with comfort and customer satisfaction and obvious priority.

Some areas of the hotel were closed and the roof/pool area is quite different to the funky furniture environment portrayed by booking.com.

After a stressful day on the train, getting off at the wrong stop in the rain, it was like a fairy tale ending to walk into this lovely, welcoming hotel.

Breakfast was from 6:30 until 9:30. With an early train to catch, I was there at 6:30, but had to leave at 7 without getting what I wanted because all of the breakfast items were not out yet. That being said, the breakfast buffet is very good when everything is there.

Location, but we were visiting during Têt so that could be a reason for nothing being open. Pool area wasn’t open.

The location is good. The distance from the hotel to the famous restaurant nearby can go by walk

. The room attendants are not good. They make a big noise and are very messy in the hallway when they working . The soundproof wall is not good

Unless you have a bike or take taxis it is a little away from anything interesting. The pictures advertised of the rooftop bar, spa and restaurant, at least as of December 2024 are not a reality. I took the elevator there and the place was a construction site with no active facilities which was pretty disappointing unfortunately.

The hotel is located in a good place, near to supermarket and small shopping malls. The room is spacious and has a comfortable bed. The staff is really kind and helpful, even though they do not speak so much English.

He had some problems with the shower. After 5 min using the shower there was not hot water. Even asking about it, the staff also did not know how to solve it. The swimming pool was not available (since the hotel did not had many customers and it was cold, the pool was empty). The breakfast was not good: low variety and very oily food. The room was not so clean.

The beds were the most comfortable yet in Vietnam. The room had a heating unit since it was cool outside. I had a toilet that was not working but they fixed it immediately.

The staff didn’t speak English, and even when staying at other places with no English, staff usually was happy and helpful. But not at Royal Hotel, just no expressions at all. Breakfast was cold and tasteless. Eggs were a pile in a cool container all stuck together so overcooked the yolks were black.
