This place is exceptional value for your money, with views from your room and the rooftop that that are truly stunning. I was surprised the rooftop wasn't crowded. The room was quiet and large with a very comfortable bed. Walls could use a little clean or painting but the floor-to-ceiling windows make up for that small flaw. The location is very convenient to access the subway or walk within lower Manhattan. They don't offer room service but they have a dedicated lobby area for delivery orders and the staff are so helpful. The staff's kindness and attention might be what sets this place apart. They pay attention to their guests and go above and beyond at every opportunity. I've already been back for another stay.

My friends and I booked a girls trip and stayed at Hotel 50 Bowery because it was close to our friends in NYC and seemed clean and reasonably priced in comparison to other hotels in the area. We were accommodated in every way possible. The staff is amazing. They upgraded our room to a city view when we arrived. The beds/rooms were clean (which is a big factor for me when staying in a hotel). The rooms were cleaned everyday and the front desk was always happy to help. So close to the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridge which was perfect for us since we had made plans in Brooklyn. I highly recommend this hotel!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay. We stayed on the 15th floor and couldn't hear any noise from the street. The tea/coffee services on the 2nd floor (6a-4p) were such a bonus. The breakfast set-up was different than I've had before - ordering from a 3rd party and delivered to hotel - but the food was timely and so delicious. There is also a rooftop bar with a fantastic view. Lastly, it is truly in the heart of Chinatown, so a tasty dumpling is never far. My partner and I had a blast, but I'm not sure that this hotel would be my top pick for families, as I didn't see any children over the four days. I would absolutely recommend this spot to other adult travelers!

For myself, I do wish that the tea service was available 24/7 (for a late night chamomile). However, this isn't actually a problem!

The location, the standard of the room and other facilities was perfect. The free tea and coffee room was a bonus! And the view from the rooftop bar was incredible. Definitely worth paying more for a room with a view!

We only had one bathrobe in our room which i think is standard but seems a bit odd if you've booked a double room. We asked reception and they gave us another straight away!

This is my fourth stay at 50 Bowery, and fourth for a reason. Every previous stay has been nothing short of wonderful. However, whilst our stay was still great, I wasn't perhaps as blown away as on previous occasions. It may well have been down to our room (I was travelling with my 12 year-old son) being somewhat smaller, unsure. Otherwise the usual service, cleanliness, amenities etc were again excellent.

One major irk. One of the reasons for my choosing 50 Bowery was the rooftop view - I figured my son would be enamoured by the uptown view. However, only on payment did I receive a notification the rooftop was in fact closed. Have to say, had I known this on booking, this would've been a major drawback. Wondering if that's why it transpired like that...

I have never experienced such amazing customer service before at a hotel and especially in NY! The staff was polite, friendly and fast to assist when needed. We asked for an iron and when we got back to the room it was there, we asked for an additional robe and as expected it was taken to us within minutes! This quality of care was amazing.

The lighting in the room was very low. We had our make up artist come to prepare for the fashion show but we struggled with the lighting.

Our room was clean, well-designed, and comfortable, with nice views of the city. The location in the Bowery district was convenient for exploring the surrounding neighborhoods, particularly Chinatown and the Lower East Side. The accessibility to various subway lines made getting around Manhattan easy. Overall, we had a positive experience at Hotel 50 Bowery and would recommend it to those looking for a comfortable and well-located hotel in Manhattan.

The location was great, our room was so lovely with the views as well as the staff at the hotel who really looked after me and my elderly mum - it was her first time in NY and she really enjoyed herself and the hotel was definitely a factor that contributed to that!

The fire doors for each room does slam so when our neighbours came back in the evening, it would wake us up briefly as their door was connected to the wall where our beds were against. However, this is true of most hotels I’ve stayed at so it can’t be helped and generally I thought the room was very well soundproofed.

Very spacious rooms. Excellent location with Chinese cuisine restaurants surrounding the hotel. Shopping for NYC gifts is cheaper here by 50% than Manhattan and Times Square. Staff were amazing 👏 helped us as we left passports in our uber. Very thankful we found them in the end thanks to NYPD which is behind the hotel.

Late check in 4pm. They did however check us in at 2pm and we are thankful. Can't help but mention there is a strong smell of smoke in the corridors... we were level 9 so maybe that is a smoking level. Very strong odour but we couldn't smell it in our room

The room was spacious, clean, with large windows and offered a stunning view of the city. The staff is also friendly and competent. We used valet parking and the car was fine when we pick it up. So you can trust them with your vehicle, I think.

The lighting in the room was dim and frustrating. It was too dark and I could not see where I had put things. I had to wait for daylight to find some of my belongings. Also, there is no desk in the room. So if you need to do some work, either go the second floor or choose a more business friendly hotel. The elevator was also dark and every time I got in, I had to ask someone to look closely, locate my floor and press the number for me. The lack of lighting drove me nuts!! Bring a flashlight with you before you check in.
