located on a pedestrian street in a lovely 18th century building, everything in charming Horsens in a close walk. We had a beautiful top floor room with plenty of space. Thoughtful details like a train rack in the bathroom and a large luggage rack and closet made it easy to unpack and not live in a mess. The hotel extends to the adjoining buildings and has a rather nice banquet hall in the back. On the lobby level be sure to check out the beautiful painted ceilings !

We had to negotiate a lot of stairs with luggage because the front desk did not tell us where the elevator was and there was no one available to help us on check-in. However, once we sorted out where the elevator was, checking out was easy. There are some other small details that are typical of historic buildings with recent remodels, I am sure they will work them out.

Everything was super nice and I will definatly come again.

We came most likely in low season so room most likely was not in use for some time so as the bathroom has heating in the floor the water tends to dry in the pipes and smell came come up (not so terrible) so it would be recommended to turn on water just for few seconds on bathtub, shower and faucet once a while in rooms that has less use during low season to avoid smell coming up from the drain. This is very common thing even in private homes when people have been travelling for some time.

A lovely hotel in the heart of the city. The staff were friendly and excellent. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. We would definitely stay again. Free parking close to the hotel. Walking distance to everything.

Beds had that weird system where instead of one mattress, two single mattresses are used for a double bed. So you have a whole down the center of the bed that makes it uncomfortable. Soft mattresses. We prefer harder mattresses but it is a matter of taste.

Amazing authentic place, beautifully renovated and nicely decorated, in the middle of the town.. Extremely large room, very comfortable beds and modern bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Great value for money.. Highly recommend to everyone.visiting Horsens.

Pictures in the ad of the room on booking are deceptive. There is no famliy room with connection but only a large room with extra bed. (Still.very satisfied with our stay)

Located in a nicely restored old building in the heart of the town. Rooms, lobby, bar and wine cellar decorated tastefully. Parking available within short walk distance. We booked superior room and got a room with only a tiny single window in the corner facing emergency stairs and the wall plus there was a smell from the pipes in the bathroom. Since we arrived late at night we had no one to deal with that (plus no energy). Anyway, the next day our room was changed to a way nicer one with windows also in the bathroom.

Selling standard rooms as superior. Breakfast is ok, but nothing special - no coffee machine, supply of finished food was very slow, so if you were unlucky and came in the wrong moment, you have to wait for a long time until finished ham/cheese,/jam/name is provided. Always running short of sweet pastries - we actually noticed only after few days that there were some available - haven't seen them during previous days. Also the restaurant in the basement is rather sad, would be lovely to have breakfast/lunch in the lobby/bar/library area instead

Breakfast was excellent, the location was right at the centre with lots of shops and cafes and restaurants around. It was also within walking distance from the university and the train station. I was given a very very nice and spacious room. Umbrellas were offered for the rainy days.

Somewhere in the middle of my stay, I requested the room to be cleaned, but only the towels were changed and the garbage emptied. I would have appreciated if there were more tea and coffee available in the room.

It was a beautiful historic hotel completely renovated in 2020 on the main pedestrian shopping area. Our room was gorgeous.

We had a difficult time finding the hotel because it is located on a wide pedestrian shopping walkway. There wasn't a place to pull up the car and unload and the parking (free) was ridiculously hard to find. It was located on the opposite side of the pedestrian walkway and the complicated network of streets made it more challenging. The hotel should have sent us the address for the parking in advance and it would have been good to know that you can't just pull up in a car. This is not a location for people with any mobility challenges. Luckily, we are young enough to have managed rolling our luggage over the cobblestones. The air conditioning didn't work well.

The room was super clean and comfortable. Love the bathroom! Food in the restaurant downstairs was really good!

The hotel was difficult to find. The entrance is pedestrian only and tricky to find. There isn’t an elevator so best to carry small bags. The night we arrive the receptionist wasn’t very friendly. The next day, completely different experience.

Very nice hotel. Located right in the heart of the city, but quiet. The bed was large with nice linens. We really enjoyed the air conditioner at night. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the secure bike parking in the locked courtyard. The breakfast is high quality with a wide selection.

Difficult to find the hotel via gps, the address simply does not exist in car navigations. The hotel claimed that they sent another address via email but who reads many booking emails. Another problem is the parking. There is no option to park near the hotel for check in. I parked on some private property(quite stress), hurry to check in, get the info in the hotel for the external garage parking circe 100 m from the hotel (registration needed). Not very convenient system
