The apartment was beautiful, a modern, but tasteful renovation of a beautiful old building. My apartment had everything I needed, bedroom, walk in wardrobe (room), nice bathroom, big balcony overlooking the castle walls, fridge, kettle and use of a shared kitchen. The location in Conversano was also excellent, a short walk to everything, Castle, museum, restaurants and cafes, and the bus & train station (although the train station was closed for renovation) The host, Annalisa was amazing, so.helpful, particularly when there was a bus strike and I didn't know how I would get there from Monopoli. She also left me a treat of fresh Conversano cherries, and allowed me to store my bags on my last day. Conversano is so pretty and so centrally located for many of the popular tourist destinations in Puglia. I would 100% recommend this apartment and would very happily return if I ever get back to Puglia.

The only downside for me was not having.car. The train station was under renovation and the replacement bus services a bit unreliable.

Firstly, Annalisa was a fantastic host! Very friendly. Great, central location with the commune centre at your fingertips. The room was larger than expected and had a sofa to lounge on! There is air con, but take a few hours (in our room) to actually cool it down. My mum and her partner stayed in another room in the same building and the air con worked perfectly fine. Showers were powerful and complimentary toiletries provided Use of a kitchen area and fridge/freezer to keep food/drink cold.

Parking wasn't great and we had to use a pay and display - but this comes with staying in the centre of a historical commune surrounded by 30ft high walls! Annalisa pointed us in the right direction for the cheapest central parking. As I've found with most Italian holidays, they like a hard bed 😅 as a side sleeper this can be a bit uncomfortable, but this is a preference. Breakfast is included at a cafe a few minutes walk away but the service isn't great. We ended up finding a lovely deli about 200m walk from the apartment instead. This isn't a problem for us, as we didn't realise we had breakfast included anyway!

We were delighted with our accommodation at Dei Balzi Dimore di Charme in Conversano. We stayed in "Lavanda" with a living room, bedroom,bathroom,storage/wardrobe, and a balcony running the length of our apartment. It was very spacious. Everything was comfortable and clean, as were the communal spaces. Lovely decor throughout the building, too.Our breakfast was provided in a nearby cafe. We had many travel issues, and Annalisa was very accommodating and helpful, making things less stressful for us.

Our host was friendly and helpful and easy to be in touch with. The location was lovely and we slept really well. Breakfast was close by and offered the standard Italian bar breakfast, though also offered delicious freshly pressed juice.

Our particular room lacked bedside lighting- that's a pretty minor detail, but would have been nice.

Incredible host who was very communicative via WhatsApp which made checking in, asking questions and checking out very easy. Also, the host was kind enough to let us checkout late and work from the B&B common area. The location is fantastic - in the heart of the Conversano action. Having access to a common kitchen was extremely helpful, as we made light lunches using the basic kitchen facilities (kettle, sink, stove, fridge)

Some small things that would make the stay spectacular: 1. Better wifi connection throughout rooms. Because we were working this was important, but for a traveller it’s probably adequate 2. Air out the room by keeping the window open prior to checkin, it was a little stale which made it seem bit fresh, but the room was very clean! 3. Better lighting in the bedroom. The small bedside lamps weren’t adequate

Beautiful apartment in Conversano exactly as pictured. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, located right in the heart of town so everything was a two minute walk away. The host was incredibly helpful and friendly, very accommodating with whatever we needed. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great, clean, comfortable place. We stayed 1 night only during our Puglia road trip but enjoyed the best location. Owner helped us with parking nearby. Nice friendly communication. We would definitely return. Be aware of many stairs in case you have heavy big luggage. Beautiful terrace with chairs and views. Breakfast is in a nearby bar with a voucher, 3 min to walk - nice experience.

It was in a great location in the old Town center. It was also Perfect for My group Of 5

We loved the property it was well Appointed and very stylish . Finding it for the first time was a bit challenging but we running on no sleep for 24 hours, otherwise we loved it.

location, beautiful design and luxurious comfort - the most wonderful bed, linen, towels and toiletries, and so much space, with a fabuloys terrace to sit with a coffee or Aperol and watch the sunset and people-watch in the street below. Annalisa was a lovely host, parking was easy (she provides a pass) and breakfast is through a local cafe. Conversano itself is a beautiful town and Dei Balzi matches its charms perfectly. One of the best accommodation highlights of my three months in Italy where I wish I had stayed longer than two nights. thank you Annalisa, it was a delight to be in Conversano again.

The property is very conveniently situated in the Old Town. We found the best restaurants to be around the Castle area which is a short walk from Dei Balzi
