Very special building. I liked it a lot. Noise from the other guests talking and laughing in hallways was a bit annoying but forgivable because the old metal doors had so much charm that I understand that replacing them was no option at all. Breakfast was included in the price and offered a lot. I was a bit afraid about sharing toilets and showers with other guests but it turned out that everything was clean.

This hotel was a bit of a surprise. Converted from a prison, you definitely felt safe on the inside. it's been tastefully redecorated with clean, crisp decor; but you still get the sense of the bigness and intensity of the prison. Architecturally it was a bit confronting at first, but the service was outstanding, the people staying there were friendly and chatty. The rooms were clean and quiet and beds super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Great value for money.

I always pack too much luggage and there wasn't access to an elevator.

The room was huge but the spiral stairs 2 floors up were not very fun. The fact that it's an old prison gave it a special charm and a very unique feeling. The place was near the water and it was a quiet neighbourhood with private parking just across the entrance.

The coffee Machine on the upper floor was not clean and there were no mugs available or a place to get water. Didn't feel nice to fill it from the common bathroom nearby. Breakfast was decent, but few options, and the bread could have been fresher. It felt more like a hostel than a hotel but nothing bad. Some sausages or scrambled eggs would have definitely made it better.

Breakfast was very nice. The room was big and clean. The room was of a hotel standard with an overall relaxed vibe of a hostel. I would definitely stay here again. Free parking around the hotel.

I would have appreciated some coffee and cream in the room. There was tea :)

Really special place, old prison. Luckily kept in such condition that you can see&feel how it was as a prison. Don’t expect luxury, as you wouldn’t in a prison also.

The room is really big and comfortable. Location is nice. Good breakfast. It was interesting to stay in a place full of historical background.

A little bedside table and a few shelves in the bathroom would be useful. And a shower mat too.

Good breakfast. I had a big room all by myself. Interesting historical environment. Very nice modern rooms and a big bathroom. Lovely nature park just a short walk away, even cows ranging free. Short walk to town center and to the railway/bus station. Very close to the university campus.

I wish they had oat milk for the breakfast. They had oat yogurt. Also I wihs they buy black-out curtains from Ikea to the room. Also very annoying seaguls screaming outside.

We liked the family room with en suite bathroom. Bright and airy with nice view. Continental breakfast more than adequate but no hot dishes. Good location on edge of town. Free parking

Room on second floor accessed by spiral staircase. No lift but staff more than willing to help. The nature of the building means noise carries but queit time observed when we were there.Lack of decent size mirror.

it’s pretty central and funky experience, most things were clean.

our room was nice and cozy.. but I just say - the bed sheet was dirty, I don’t know what it was but it was unpleasant , so I just slept on another bed.
