Location couldn’t be more perfect, the view from our room, the parking, when we shopped we could just drop our bags in the car, everything so walkable. Staff is amazing- we were sure Jackie was an owner because she certainly has that ownership mentality caring about every detail. Other staff also very kind and attentive. The bed was very comfortable, loved the luxurious big pillows. Continental breakfast was a great bonus and saved us considerable time and $$. We were very thankful for it!

Like other posters, some things are in disrepair or in need of update. Bathrooms are very small, toilets low and small. Our tv had a bad screen. We didn’t make use of the beautiful 2nd floor sitting room - it seemed too warm in there - open windows would have made it much more inviting. Yes you need to climb stairs to the rooms- but it is an inn, not a hotel. What you gain (soooo much) you also have to accept other things for the charm.

We have been to the harbour Inn many times and just love the place and the staff are amazing even when you have an issue they resolve it quickly and are very customer centric!!!

Last time we booked, we wanted the main property and when we got there, we were put in the telegraph house which we weren’t aware of. I had called the hotel at least twice before we arrived, and I was never told that we were not in the main inn. However, once we got there, Jackie was unbelievably gracious to give us a small discount for the inconvenience and the telegraph house was actually a very comfortable room and very quiet.

Good selection - coffee was excellent and the muffins were fresh. Several cereal choices as well as fruit cups, yogurt etc.

The facility is beginning to show its age especially the Little Inn. Front steps had a rotting board - no blinds on side window in room one - only a curtain- sound from other rooms can be heard quite clearly. However, the location is excellent.

We liked the cozy feeling of the Singapore Suite in the "Little Inn", the jacuzzi tub was our favourite part and being close to the harbour.

Bathroom garbage hadn't been cleaned out and it smelt like smoke. (We smoke so it didn't bother us, but we could tell) Shower fittings were loose, so they need to be fixed. I was able to hand tighten so it wouldn't leak but this is definitely something to look at, sooner than later before it causes damage.

This charming Inn is an absolute gem! Clean, quiet, extra comfortable rooms with all the amenities to assure a perfect stay. We come back every year not just for this beautiful, quaint little town but specifically to this Inn. Especially enjoy the lake views from the walk-out deck, complimentary Kayaks and the excellent location for walking to restaurants, shops and two gorgeous beaches. Bonus: complimentary continental breakfast! Thanks to the friendly staff for another wonderful stay!

The location and room amenities were fantastic. Spacious suite and nice big tv. Loved having tub and shower options. Bed was super comfy. Tasty continental breakfast with warm yummy fresh baked muffins!

Please note, none of these were deal-breakers but observations: Satellite stopped working and we weren't sure how to fix it, but accessing Prime made up for it. Some paint touch ups needed in bathroom. Maybe sweep down balcony cobwebs and add a tea-towel for drying dishes.

Got a continental breakfast it was quite good. Lots of choices some fruit toast, oat bars etc.

We were put in one of the better rooms due to an issue with the standard room. It was clean and we had a beautiful view of the river but the room was very dated. It was clean and we had all the things we required but for the money it wasn’t what I expected. To be fair, they are doing some renovations but it’s an old building and the whole place needs to be renovated.

Great, friendly staff, nice location, scenic, good food. Nice continental breakfast with lots of options. Comfy beds, clean room. Nice clean board walks. Restaurant food was good, lots of options. Nice to see train rides still available for families.

We could hear everything happening in the next room-bathtub filling up, shower running, toilet flushing, conversations. Same above us. Would not stay on the ground floor again. Very limited shopping options.

I loved the location, the suite, the view, the privacy. I liked that it was secure. The amount of space the suite had and nice sized balcony.

Not hot enough water. Wanted to have a bath/jacuzzi and had the tap all the way over and not hot enough. The smell of the room upon entering had a sage odor, not the best. There are no blinds on one of the bathroom windows, which limited me from having the light on when in the washroom. The 2 stairways had no carpet and was all wood, maybe mid renovation.

Inn on the Harbour was a clean and comfortable place to stay. It was walking distance to everything that we wanted to do while we were in Port Stanley. We had a small balcony to sit out on and watch the boats go by. It was a relaxing weekend away with my husband and a quaint place to stay. The staff was great. Thank you, Inn on the Harbour!

The only dislike I had was that the air conditioner was an old window unit, and the blinds did not block out the light coming from the building next door. The bathroom is a little dated but clean. I'm sure that these are things that they are upgrading in the future. I would definitely go back regardless.
