The host Ismo is a real celebrity in Finland. Staying on the ship is unique. The breakfasts with the special view on the spectacular sunsets - unforgetable! The beds are super comfortable, cabins cosy and perfect for godnight's sleep. You can use the kitchen all day long, relax have tea or coffee on the upper deck. Ismo offered us a personal lift to the university campus where we had meetings. Highly recommended for both business stays, retreats and family escapades. All within a walking distance. Great sauna with a restarurant and access to skinny dipping just round the corner.

Of course when the weather is rough it rocks the boat a little but for me it was very pleasant and I slept like a log!

Excellent shower, small though because it’s a boat. Self service, fridge and microwave available for own food. Pleasant dining area and airy lounge. Stairs no lift. Entry via gang plank and key code. Booking sent wrong code and there should have been two. Message from boat did not arrive but another guest arrived with the code and called to get room code resent. Bell by door only produced Finnish response possibly recorded. Once both codes obtained all was fine. Would stay again but my only communication was with WiFi. Didn’t see the password through the door but was probably visible if I had looked.

This was a unique accommodation with great views and a wonderful location. The rooms were small but functional and there was plenty of communal deck space which you are free to use during your stay. Breakfast was great with plenty of options and they are happy for you to bring take-out food onboard in the evenings. Location is excellent - a small walk into town and close to a nature park.

This is a small boat hotel (boat-el!) so does move with the water. Having said that, there is not a lot of movement. As you would expect, the rooms are small (think cabin) with functional but not luxurious bathrooms. This was a fun place to stay but may not be for you if you want luxury.

- Breakfast quality could be better and healthier - Some dishes were slightly dirty and worn - The beds are very hard since they are actually couches. Thicker mattresses would be better.

- loved the location - superclean - nice basic breakfast included - the terrace to chill in a summer evening - very helpful staff

- even if it was warm outside, the room in a lower deck has been a bit cold, which is logical. Next time i should bring a pair of warm socks :)

just absolute perfect blend of almost boutique level and super special on the one hand and back packer friendly on the other. great sense of being in such a special place (ice bound boat on a huge frozen lake) and just perfect welcoming friendly recption. would go there again in a heartbeat.

It was a perfect location. Not a lot of people so we had the boat nearly all to ourselves. Really peaceful and not at all feels like being on a boat, I was scared I would get seasick but didn’t even realize I was on a boat.

Breakfast was poor, but since it was included with the room I cannot complain. Also they allow you to make free tea and coffee throughout the day which is quite nice.

Very nice stay. Small, but very cosy cabins with very comfortable beds. Good bathroom. Nice breakfast. It is worth to visit the local museum!

Perfect location on the lake, access to the walking road, next to port and easy to walk to the cosy center. Unique stay on the boat. Very friendly and supportive staff. Clean. Simple and nice breakfast.
