Very rustic but charming and full of character. Despite being very old and sympathetically restored the rooms are very comfortable with AC and plenty of water. The two pools are beautiful and very clean and well maintained. And also a good size for doing lengths. There are many places to eat and terraces to sit and enjoy the view. Food is excellent. Highly recommend the group cooking evening particularly if you’re a big group - great for families to bond.

Ideally they should have more places where small bars could supply cold drinks near the sitting terraces. Eg if you’re sitting by the pool there is no way of ordering a drink. As a result we didn’t sit anywhere else other than the bar. The stone building gets very hot but that’s Rajasthan.

Our experience was outstanding, especially due to the courteous staff and exceptional hospitality. We accidentally left our laptop bag at the reception during checkout, and upon calling them from Delhi, they promptly arranged to have it sent back the very same day. We were truly grateful for their responsiveness and care. I highly recommend this place, particularly during pleasant weather — the ambiance is stunning, especially at night. The only drawback is the lack of proper lifts, which can be challenging for elderly guests or those with mobility issues due to the numerous steps. Aside from that, the property offers a truly unique experience, complemented by delicious food and top-notch service.

However, the old wing of the hotel could use some upkeep. While the heritage aspect is well-maintained, certain areas show signs of wear and could benefit from better maintenance to enhance comfort. Small improvements in this regard would make the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a great place for a weekend getaway, especially for those who appreciate history and scenic beauty. With a little more attention to upkeep, it could offer an even more exceptional experience.

Great property. It's really fun to explore all the different parts of the fort, old and new, and to see the thought and diversity that went into renovation and construction. The staff, especially Praveen, was great and very helpful. Activities like a guided tour of the fort, dance performance and sunset high tea completed the experience.

The room we had was beautiful and very spacious, but felt like a small renovation could improve it even more. Unfortunately the main pool was under maintenance during our time there, which was a pity because it looks like you can spend a wonderful time lounging next to it.

Extremely beautiful place, breathtaking location!! It's definitely one of the best hotels that I have stayed at during my numerous trips to India. Room was spacious, being there felt like living in maharaja's palace, in fact - my suite used to be king's apartment in the past. Delicious food, extreme cleanliness and, above all- super professional, friendly and helpful staff. I don't have enough words to praise this hotel, those who enjoy history of India, awesome architecture and unforgettable views plus romantic sunsets- should at least once in a lifetime visit this charming place. This is a beautiful restoration of an old fort palace with a newly built addition designed in similar style. We loved having a room in the Heritage part of the hotel in the old palace, high on the rooftop. The decoration of the rooms is very stylish. Our room, Chandan Mahal, had an ancient carved wooden column in an alcove, and old prints on the walls. We loved the alcove with cushions for reading, and the corner with a desk, and the natural light in the room from being high up. We enjoyed a tour of the fort led by Pankaj Kumar - it was interesting to discover more about the history of its restoration. We loved the labyrinth of staircases and passages to explore, and the many small courtyards, and the room with old wooden swings, and the beautiful swimming pool. The hotel isn't at all pompous or stuffy. The staff are very attentive. One evening we enjoyed a performance of traditional music and dance in the stone amphitheatre in the fort, given by a local company of folk musicians.

We were handed rather too many feedback forms at mealtimes. Wi-fi wasn't consistently available in the room.

this is a marvelous oasis of calm and joy. i have not stayed for 20 years and the only change is its growth, all the charm and detail remain. the staff are beyond kind and helpful. i had arrived with a sick daughter ( bad ice in her drink from a Delhi trip ) Pankaj very kindly arranged and took us to the local hospital and returned us safely back . other staff asked after her well being and the chef's kindly made some special food for her . could not have been kinder! thank you all so much . . so very very touching . we stayed an extra day to allow her to repair . the food/ buffet on the evening we stayed was beyond compare . such gorgeous selection of fne local indian foods . i was overcome . best we have had in the country . ! thank you neemrana will be back for many reasons

It is an exquisite property, exactly like you see it in the pictures! Surrounded by lush greenery echoing with the sounds of parrots and peacocks. The highlight of the place is their staff, they are all so welcoming and warm, from helping you across the alleys of the palace to telling you about all the photography stops they do it all! To note the palace fort is an experiential stay and not a typical luxury hotel. The breakfast spread and the food in general is amazing. The evening shows at the amphitheater are lovely. The stay is worth the spend. A note of caution the place requires a lot of walking and climbing of steps. If you are travelling with someone who may have difficulty doing so, please reach out to the hotel prior to the visit so that they might help with a room which is on a lower level or can be accessed via lifts.

Beautiful stay at Neemrara , the fort is amazing with a very delicate restoration , very peaceful and worn ambience. The well coming was incredible, specially Israeli khan who showed me all around and gave me the chance of reading the great collection of books written by Anam Nath , which introduced me in the history , art and magic of this mythical India . Very grateful to those who maintain and bring life to Indian heritage. Looking forward to come back and visit more Neemrara hotels

The hospitality, the amneties, the location and the meals

No room service for tea and light ready made snacks. Desserts in Dinner buffet spread was not upto the mark which could have had been better with additional Indian desserts like Gajjar Halwa, Gulab Jamun and more options in ice creams. Also the chocolate tarts and Eclairs were too hard.The doors and windows need fixing and easing. Electric switches and boards are loose in many a places in the room which list be repaired or replaced. Better signboards must be placed for ease of access to rooms and centralised venues.
