Casa Badia B&B is located in the historic part of Conversano, with a really nice view of the church tower nearby (Monastero di San Benedetto). The whole town is really cute and offers some really good choices for dining (we especially liked La Foccacina and Pizzeria Terrarossa). We used Conversano as our base for day trips to Bari, Matera, Altamura, Gravina, Ostuni, Polignano, Locorotondo... The room was spotlessly clean and really nicely renovated. We had a rental car that we typically parked free of charge within 5-10 min walking distance from the room. We received breakfast vouchers that could be redeemed in any of three nearby cafés (less than 2 minutes walking distance). Check-in and all communication were really smooth. Thanks Daniele! :)

Wonderful location, close to the restaurants and cafes of Conversano. Thank you to Michele, the communication was 10/10. We really enjoyed Verso, a cafe where you can have your breakfast with the vouchers received from Casa Badia. Pizzeria Terrarossa was excellent also. Good atmosphere and fine service. The room itself was fine for us. Spacious with a small balcony that offered a nice view and a small fridge to keep your beers cold. A great stay at Casa Badia, I would recommend it to anyone making a stop in Conversano.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Casa Badia on the 3rd floor. We absolutely loved the location, the great comfort and cleanliness of the room and the view from our balcony. The breakfast cappuccino/ coffee, croissant and orange juice at Verso was also great and tasty, fabulous service by Angela. We used beautiful Conversano as a base to visit Polignano, Monopoli, Alberobello and Ostuni. If you are driving, it’s really easy to park for free 7 minutes away without disturbing anyone in the local neighbourhood.

Casia Badia is perfectly located just off the main square in Conversano and is exactly as described. Daniele reached out before our stay with recommendations and was able to help us with everything we needed. The breakfast included with the stay got the job done each morning, especially considering that Italians generally eat a light lunch. We had our croissant and macchiato late morning, and would be set for a while before lunch. We always opted for plain croissants, but 7000 Caffe offered creme-filled or pistachio croissants if desired. The room itself is quiet, clean and very comfortable. For the price and location, it's hard to envision a better stay.

The bathroom and shower are definitely on the smaller side. That being said, everything is functional, new, and clean. My partner and I were sharing the space so it became a bit more apparent, but overall it did not hurt our experience at Casa Badia.

We stayed on the first floor in a beautiful room that was very spacious with a pretty exposed stone wall. Additionally, there is a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. Located in the heart of the town, this B&B is a stone's throw away from everything Conversano has to offer, which is a beautiful vibrant town's square with delicious restaurants (recommendation for delicious pasta: Il Giullare, just a 2 minute walk away). On the flip side, this also means being kept awake by festivals and big bands, next to being woken up very early by public workers sweeping the streets clean and the church bells that ring every half hour. So to say, the sound isolation is not the best, but that is completely equaled out by the incredible view from the balcony, big enough for two chairs, with a view of the old church tower that we couldn't get enough of. As far as breakfast goes, Casa Badia partners with two cafés/restaurants, of which especially Verso surprised us pleasantly. For the bigger eaters, do take into account that breakfast only includes one croissant, next to a coffee (or tea) and an orange juice. Conversano is on itself already a very pretty place, but for the sea views Polignano a Mare is only a 15 minute drive away. You can park for free at the train station and from there it's just a 10 minute walk to the famous bridge and the historical center. Although busy, Polignano is a perfect mix of panoramic views, old churches and loads of options for both shopping and eating. You can also go swimming at the well-known (stone) beach, swimming shoes are advised. Polignano a Mare was truly one of the most beautiful towns we have ever seen and a big recommendation. As far as parking by the B&B goes, there is no facility to park at the stay itself.

The location, the room, the bed was very comfortable

In the heart of a very beautiful town that has a lot of authentic charm and extremely kind people. The host is kind and easy to communicate with. The room is clean and very well cared for. A pleasure to return to this sanctuary after a day of exploring tourist areas. This feels like a slice of authentic local charm where you can have a peaceful night of rest. Parking easy to find. Coversano was not originally on our list of cities to visit but now we feel so lucky to have come across it. There is something very special about this town, a lot of artistic installments. Central to many areas of Puglia to visit during the day. Excellent price. Look no further, you won’t regret your stay.

fabulous bnb in the old town with newly renovated rooms and bathrooms. super spacious and super responsive team. the cleaners came at the same time everyday and Daniele was super helpful on WhatsApp for all of ours needs. we requested few items and they were already in the room upon arrival. the coupons for breakfast were also a nice touch and we grabbed our morning coffee and explored the ancient archeological site literally across the way. overall 11/10 !

no car access so we did have to lug our suitcases up the stairs but everything else was so exceptional that we enjoyed the workout lol

Very easy to get to in the town and convenient to base ourselves here for day trips along the coast. Our hosts gave us great local recommendations and breakfast was yum!

There are a number of stairs to get to the property and inside - but that's nothing new in Italy :) Another thing to note is that our room (Chioso) was facing the street and it was quite loud at night with passersby. Just something we didn't think about before arriving but nothing that ruined our time!
