Location very good although very hilly, even walking around hotel, certainly not suitable for anyone with limited mobility Room was a good size, with a nice large bed and a great view out over the bay and nearby island Bathroom a little tired but water very hot and shampoo, shower gel replace daily Breakfast was very good although a bit hit and miss for some items like cereals but plenty of bread/pastries and fresh fruit, also eggs and crepes The dinner we had was very good In general the staff were very friendly and helpful

Overall hotel a bit tried and dated but clean and tidy We had an issue with the door which had to be slammed shut and eventually would not shut at all. It was fixed but not really suitably and will almost certainly fail again very soon, just another sign of age. Surprised that bottled water was not supplied to room every day, we were told only on first day! Hilly, as mentioned above this would be a real problem for anyone with disability or very unfit

The room was spacious, clean and had a huge comfortable bed. The room also had amazing views of the sea, and islet de Gosier as well a cool terrace. Coffee facilities and air conditioning in the room. I loved the open air lounge/dining area too - very unique - the art exhibition added glamour! Then the private beach and pool was also a treat.

The beach area tables and lounges needs to be cleaned more regularly.

Made very welcome on arrival, offered complimentary cocktails at check-in. Large room with views of garden and sea, with bath and shower. Excellent breakfast

At dinner we had to ask if there was a menu du jour, only offered carte at first. Bedding included a duvet, which was far too warm despite Aircon. Information on Booking.com and hotel website does not explain that there are many steps to access the rooms in different blocks. I counted approx 78 steps from reception to our room, thank goodness we didn't have carry luggage, it was delivered by buggy.

The hotel is beautiful and well-located in the city center of Gosier. The room is quite big eith a beautiful see view. You can tell the history of the hotel, as one of the best hotel in Guadeloupe for the location, the view and the service.

The outside table in the room needs to be changed. Breakfast could be better. I think the hotel should invest in a better coffee machine.

The buffet breakfast was very good, wide selection of food and drinks. Dinner needed phone translator since everything on menu was in French, but the food was superb! Staff was very helpful and surprised us by bringing luggage right to our room while we had drinks in the bar. The view from balcony was beautiful and room was very quiet.

Excellent location close to cafes etc. Very pleasant room in the “vanilla“ building. Good breakfast and dinner.

The choice at lunch was a little limited – but perfectly acceptable. The rooms are now a little tired.

The hotel and private beach are very nice and relaxing!

The music from the nearby beach was very loud, we could not hear it once the windows are closed but we were not able to fully enjoy the terrasse.

The waterfront location was beautiful. The breakfast selection and quality was really nice, and especially the breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful.

No pool towels and poolside facilities were closed.

We could not have any breakfast as they only serve from 7am and we had to leave at 7am to get to the hospital .cos although we pre paid for freakfast we did not have any, disappointing. Enjoyed a lovely walk around the premises.

The meal in the restaurant was not at all satisfactory, one of the steaks was unbeatable. Very tough and we've is not get a steak knife to cut it with. No side plates. Vegetables with steak few and not tasty.
