Fabulous Italian breakfast with loads of choices. Wonderful setting with lots of different seating areas. Amazing views all around. Peaceful and quiet except for the sheep which passed by morning and evening. A real sight to see and added to the experience. Pool very needed in the heat. Great hosts, going over and above for us. Nothing too much trouble. Lots of places to visit in the local area and good choice of restaurants.

Finding it hard to think of anything. The driveway was steep, as country B and B’s often are. We had to negotiate it carefully but once we had it was ok. I wouldn’t let it put you off. We are older and managed it well.

Casa Friano in Amandola is a cozy and well-kept country house that offers a peaceful getaway. The gardens are charming, and the goats, ducks, and chickens add a delightful touch. The pool is refreshing, with lovely views of the surrounding hills. There are hiking trails and a small lake nearby, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. Manfred and Francesca, the owners, are welcoming and make you feel right at home. The rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious, with fresh eggs, cheeses, bread, and homemade preserves. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Marchese countryside. Highly recommended!

An exceptional place to stay. Manfred and Francesca were friendly and helpful in every way and they have a little paradise here. Really beautiful scenery and views from the lovely gardens and patios and pool, very reasonably priced drinks and local wine, superb breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable, super bed and big walk - in shower. Good local restaurants on the beautiful lake a walk or short drive. Excellent in every way and most highly recommended.

We stayed only one night but the location is magnificent, on top of the hill, away from the noice of the streets. Very beautiful landscape for breakfast in the terrace. The owners are kind and friendly. The rooms clean and comfy A 30 mins walk can lead you to the lake ruffino, and also in 10 mins by car you can arrive at good restaurants in the proximity of the lake.

The rooms are not sound proof at all, but that is normal being a traditional house.

Casa Friano is an absolute gem. Beautiful old farm building in excellent condition with greenery and flowers everywhere. The views are spectacular with the Sebilini mountains in the distance. Very good breakfast with perfect coffee, Charming hosts that are super friendly and helpful. Sparkling clean, comfortable accommodation. We could not be more happy.

The hosts are exceptionally nice and caring. Excellent Breakfast. The location is beautiful and a family can enjoy the common room that is really comfortable. Highly recommended as base for visiting the mountains and the area. Thank you Manfred!

Everything was exceptionally good. The host are very welcoming and always make sure you have everything you need. They speak Italian, German and English. The guests even have access to a kitchen with everything needed including a fridge, freezer and cooker. There are relaxing areas with absolutely stunning views. it’s only 10 minutes from Amandola where you can get all the groceries etc. and close to the beautiful lake Lago di San Ruffino.The area is amazing and the pool has the perfect temperature. So all in all I can only recommend it.
