Nice and tasteful decoration. Big and well equipped room. Ok location not far from Centro Histórico. Good and friendly service.

Room on the street was a bit noisy. Big roads and intersection beside. Beds are too short (190cm long only instead of 200cm for this level of hotel). Sheets are cut too short and do not cover properly the quilt. Not very hygienic.

First time staying in a Banyan Tree, and I loved everything about it. The woman who checked us in was very attentive and gave us a refreshing ginger tea and cool towel. She had recently spent some time in Canada and has excellent english. Our room was absolutely amazing. We couldn't believe the size and luxury. When we arrived, they mentioned that they'd been having power issues. We didn't have any issues with power except our tv didn't have a signal, probably because it was coming online but didn't affect our enjoyment of the place. We had drinks and chalupas on the rooftop terrace, which had an amazing 360 view of Puebla. The pool was also on the terrace. It looked great - good size. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for a dip. I loved this hotel. It now lives rent free in my head. One night wasn't long enough.

My only wish for my stay was that we had larger windows or one of the rooms with a balcony, but now that can be for next time!!

I loved the sophisticated interior design showcasing local Mexican artisan crafts including the Tavalera ceramics and lacquerware. Bedroom and bathrooms were of exceptional standard as one would expect from the Banyan Tree. The beautiful views from the rooftop restaurant and swimming pool exceeded expectations. Excellent American breakfast included in the room rate.

Be prepared that the hotel is a 20 minute walk from the Zocalo where most of the action is and in the evening, you'll probably want a taxi to get to the best restaurants and bars.

Great staff! We visited in January and everyone was very attentive. We did tastings at the bar, had massages at the spa, and enjoyed drinks by the pool, everything was excellent. The room was gorgeous, and the location was perfect. If it’s within your budget, it’s definitely a great place to stay.

The breakfast was good, however they charged us for our son. Even though we put 3 people in the reservation. The location was very close to everything, but the traffic was bothersome. The lobby was on a street, a public one. We could hear honking everywhere. It was also a bus stop, and there were people that weren’t staying there laying on the buildings.

The location, staff, coffee, room size, the food at the restaurants. They tried to charge us 2x for the breakfast.

From the moment you enter the lobby at the Banyan Tree Puebla, and you notice the subtle citrus scent filling the air, you realize you're in a special place. And based on the three days we spent there, the high expectations created by that thoughtful citrus detail are met over and over again. My family and I planned a trip to Puebla and made too many reservations. Tania, from the front desk, met us upon our arrival, explained our options, didn't pressure us to choose the most expensive one, and made us feel very good about the rooms we chose. She was so thoughtful and friendly throughout our stay that we felt very well taken care of and look forward to returning at the soonest opportunity. Our room was clean, spacious, luxurious, and very well designed. The whole property is beautiful and very well maintained. The rooftop pool is gorgeous, and the evenings we spent swimming, eating, and enjoying the sunset were absolutely delicious. Marco, our waiter at the pool, made the evenings we spent there delightful. He was attentive, funny, and friendly and provided great service. I'm not sure if there is truffle oil on those French fries, but whatever it was, they are delicious. When I asked my wife what I should write in my review of the hotel, she said, "that I don't want to leave." All eight of us felt that way, and can't wait to go back.

There are so many great restaurants in Puebla that we only had one meal in the restaurant downstairs (as opposed to the one by the pool), and that meal was an unremarkable late breakfast. The food was fine, but in a hotel where everything else is superlative, that safe and uninspired meal was the one (barely) off note.

This was my third time staying here, and I can happily say each time I've been nothing but impressed with the quality of this hotel. Every detail is thoughtful, considered and beautiful. The staff is exceptional. The view from the rooftop is jaw-dropping. As always, I'm looking forward to next time.

Breakfast was unremarkable and very overpriced. Ate too at roof top terrace. Food was fine but the amount of wine they served for the price of a cup was quite stingy. I would not return to the restaurants. Super expensive for what you get.

The location is amazing and the rooftop is gorgeous - the view, the pool .... we had dinner at the Thai restaurant on the roof and loved their special hot sauce so much that we got them to-go. It is made in-house from 2 local mexican chilies and 1 thai chili . Our rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable.

Beautiful place,excellent location,marvelous food.The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I would suggest this establishment to all my friends. My room was luxurious and comfy, bathroom with deep metal tub was a bonus
