First and foremost, the staff at Solferino deserves a special mention. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, offering helpful recommendations and always being available to assist with any needs. A la carte breakfast includes sweet and savoury options to cater to every palate. The availability of private parking was also a significant advantage. Solferino’s location is perfect, situated close to Sirmione and a variety of charming towns along the east coast of Lake Garda. Our room was cleaned every day, maintaining a refreshing and tidy environment throughout our stay. Additionally, the in-house restaurant was a culinary delight! The menu offered a fantastic range of options, and the quality of the food was top-notch - you must try meatballs with polenta! Overall, I highly recommend Solferino to anyone seeking a delightful getaway!

This location combines everything and is a charming paradise — a true discovery! The property is situated in a really lovely village (Solferino - with history of Napoleon battle) and where you can go on nice walks, explore the various vineyards, and eat at the trattoria (Locanda all’avanguardia) which serves delicious homemade food and a variety of locally produced goods. We had a wonderful experience, and the staff was very kind and eager to show you about the area. In addition, there is a little grocery store where you can get goods created locally and by the trattoria, such as olive oil, buffalo stew, cakes, and a delicious corner of local spirits/wines like gin, vermouth, grappa. We cherished it! Thanks a lot to the whole team ! We will come back for sure 😜

The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We arrived late and they were able to squeeze us into their very popular Trattoria. Our kids were exhausted and they made them dinner and brought it up to our room. They did the same thing for breakfast the next day. The family room was large and clean. We were only there for the night, but wished we could have stayed longer.

Everything was perfect 👌 What a hidden gem in a wonderful village! Excellent breakfast, easy check in, plenty of parking spaces, pet friendly, cool rooms (even though we stayed in August) and above all wonderful staff. Both staff at the reception and breakfast area were more than amazing, thank you so much for making our stay enjoyable.

The hotel is located on the square, we had no free time to explore the surroundings. The hotel itself is very nice, the rooms are spacious and the whole hotel including the restaurant is well renovated. We were very happy with the menu choices in the restaurant. Excellent served breakfast with a choice of two menus. We would love to return.

Superb hotel, room was really clean, the owner is more than friendly. Price is really fair. Safe locked backyard parking. It exceeded our expectations! We will stay there again next time we go to Garda Lake.

Although they have AC in the room and it works ok, I had the feeling that the control you have is either on or off, no option for fan speed for example. This wouldnt put me off staying there again though, just some constructive criticism.

This is an absolutely underrated gem. The establishment is located ca. 13 km from lake Garda, and secluded among the many hills, in a romantic small hill, and located on a town square reminiscent of what we saw in Malena and Cinema Paradiso. But if there is one thing which alone makes it worth to come here, that would be the restaurant. It is telling that during our stay the restaurant was packed for lunch and dinner - and not only with hotel guests. Even hotel guests needed a reservation. I won't go into details, but during our three nights' stay, we tried different meats, pasta and sides, and the food experience alone makes it worthwile coming back.

great location in Solferino with local bars and restaurants . We ate in the onsite restaurants which had great service and food.Comfortable room with aircon and secure parking for motorcycles on site.

The room was spotless, and we enjoyed the terrace overlooking the town square. The bed, sheets, and pillows were comfortable—we slept great. The restaurant is fabulous and offers creative dishes for carnivores and vegans alike. The staff is friendly, responsive, and professional. We liked the combination lock, so we didn't have to worry about a key. Truly a wonderful stay.

Located in a nice quaint town. Room was spacious, clean and with basic creature comforts. It was ideal for me, my wife and my mother who just landed in Milan and needed a space to rest and repack. The staff and the owner were exceptionally friendly, very accommodating and trusting. Used a self-checking system which allowed me to park in their private parking space and go into the room earlier. We also had dinner there and the food was typical good Italian rustic cuisine.

We only stayed there a day; we should have stayed more days there and explore the surrounding areas. Will comeback again if we can!
