Excellent staff. They were superb. Very helpful in finding parking and with a property tour. Very communicative as well. One of the girls even lugged some luggage up 3 1/5 flights of stairs. They will text you both before your arrival and after to check in with you. Our room was also ready a bit early. The property itself is beautiful and has an excellent location near Duval Street. They also have on-site parking, if you can get it…which is a big plus. Our room had great AC (which isn’t always the case in Key West) and was very comfortable. I couldn’t get the TV to work initially, but someone was up within literally minutes and it was ready to go. Again, staff was A+.

This is specific to our room, but if you get booked in the “Mansion” you may be hoofing luggage up 3 1/5 flights of stairs with no elevator. While the location was great, it’s also behind a bar that will be playing reggae music until at least midnight and VERY loudly if you are in this building. The breakfast during the week starts at 8:30, so we couldn’t take advantage, but that is what it is. Also, heads-up. Not that it’s a negative, per se, but heed their advice about booking a parking reservation. We booked last minute and these reservations were gone. Do NOT assume you get a parking spot (in fairness, they do tell you this). If you don’t book parking, you will be walking blocks with luggage to a lot where you will pay, anyway.

Great location just one street away from Duval St so yet away from the late night noise. Beautiful gardens and grounds like an oasis that could be anywhere else in the Caribbean. Unit being in historic buildings was rustic with lots of charm with modernised bathroom and modernised kitchenette bench/sink. Lovely fluffy white towels. Choice of 4 swimming pool areas. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Good continental breakfast including boiled eggs. Iced tea, water and ice to help yourself at anytime. Carparking on site for extra charge.

Soft furnishings were a little worn. Our 2 bedroom cottage had one bedroom on mezzanine floor with a larger floor area but had a low pitched ceiling so you could only stand up straight under the spine of the ceiling which happened to be where the bed was placed. Might suit kids who can safely manage the stairs and mezzanine level. The second bedroom was on ground floor and was very small so not much floor space around the bed. There was a small wardrobe in the ground floor bedroom only. Bathroom taps and shower had very low pressure.

The staff was very good from the welcome to our final goodbye. Everyone was extremely helpful, rooms and all aspects were very clean, and any request was always taken care of. Our stay with Simonton Cottages was way above anything that we were expecting. We were welcomed by Johnathan and Violet, they are married, they are the nicest couple, always trying their best to make sure you have the best stay possible. Then there's Eric, he's the food and beverage tour leader and it was the best food tour ever. All stops were excellent and more food than we could eat, got it to go. Then there was the coconut and shell painting, with cocktails, Eric did a great job of entertain us, coaching the painting and pouring drinks. Wonderful bonus to our Key West stay at Simonton Court.

Really wasn't anything that I can come up with to suggest improvement.

The walkway just past the front gate is magical. Full of lush trees, plants, and orchids. At night it is lit with beautiful lighting. The heated black bottom pool was our favorite and seemed secluded as there are not a ton of guests and there are 4 pools to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of complimentary breakfast options, you put in an order, and they deliver it to your outdoor table by the pool or on the mansion porch. This was really the getaway my husband and I needed to decompress, recharge, and soak up the tropics.

The Simonton Court Inn and Cottages were a true Hidden Gem located in a perfect location - close to all the action, yet secluded enough to feel like you're on your own private island. What I liked best about this place were the multiple secluded pools and gardens. It felt like paradise! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitively stay here again!

I didn't like when our vacation ended and we had to go back to reality. We would have much preferred to stay at the Simonton Court Inn in beautiful Key West!

Perfect little oasis, close enough to everything but tucked away in a beautiful setting. Historic buildings nicely decorated and maintained. Parking on site was perfect. The pool was refreshing. Nice lush plants. Nice breakfast made to order and delivered to your outdoor table. Good coffee, iced or hot tea available all the time. . Filtered water station. Jonathan and Violet are so awesome and extremely welcoming, helpful and hospitable. Loved the place. Highly recommended.

There was not anything I didn't like.

Everything about the property is nice, the vegetation is so beautiful you feel like in a little jungle I love that. Every single staff member is soooo nice and helpful always in a good mood. We stayed here in July 2024 and then loved it so much we came back in September 2024.. so close to Duval st you can walk anywhere but also just far enough you don’t hear any loud music. Siminton beach is also just a walk away but We usually rent the onsite bikes and can literally bike anywhere on the island. It is a quaint and quiet place they have four pools and it’s never crowded. Rooms are so beautiful and spacious beds comfortable.

There’s nothing at all that we did not like.

The staff were all outstanding - very pleasant, helpful and friendly. The convenient location and ability to walk throughout the downtown area was a major positive. The breakfast service was great. The property has a lot of character and the grounds are very appealing.

Access for check in/unloading and checkout/ loading is rather awkward. We were relieved to be able to reserve on-site parking, although the space was cramped even for our small car.

Room was very nice - property was very pretty, nice outdoor space, multiple pools, parking was extra but reserved off- street just around the corner, location is very close to the key west theater which is why we came there, very close to Duval street, the main tourist street, staff was excellent from pre-check in all the way to check out, we had a very early check out which we informed the desk of and they had an order sheet for us to have a to-go breakfast ready for us. Lovely property all the way around.

The Inn was quaint and welcoming. When you walk through the gate, it is lush and tropical. A small path made of pavers leads you back to all the cottages and pools. Great ambiance! The property also had bikes on site for rent. This was a huge bonus!

There are several small pools, all guests have access to all pools, which is nice. Because the property is very lush, access to sun at most pools was very limited. If you are someone who wants several hours in the sun, this is not the property for you.
