Lovely landscaped gardens, big comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the forest, good breakfast with a reasonable choice in a nice breakfast room overlooking the valley. Very helpful and friendly staff. Loved the golf cart service taking you around the hotel area.

The beautiful pool ( in which we were looking forward to swimming)was icy cold, not many ventured! The jacuzzi was not working all week.. The pretty green parrot, in our opinion, could be accommodated in a more green and stimulating enclosure :(

All of the amenities on the property were truly amazing. The grounds were like a botanical garden, the pools were outstanding and in a beautiful setting and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. From the start, the staff were attentive and kind. All of the food we ate was so authentic, fresh and tasty. We loved every part of our stay at this resort.

A very minor issue was that the property was isolated and away from any outside activity and or restaurant. But that didn’t really matter as they offered everything you could possibly need or want. If a person needed to leave, taxi or Grab can be used with no problem

This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The swimming pool is incredible although I will admit cold. The staff are on hand to assist you with everything. The food in the restaurant and the sweeping views of the mountains of Fantastic. This really is a wonderful place to stay with very large rooms and it was worth the Jacuzzi on the balcony room.

You do have to rely on renting a car or Taxi as it’s quite remote however, that’s what you go for. You just need to be aware. I do think the children’s activities should be open in the evening as then the adults could have dinner and relax at the bar where the children have something to do. That’s probably the only negative.

Excellent location if you want to stay in the hills around Mae Rim, about an hour outside of ChiangMai. Close to botanical gardens, waterfalls and several elephant experiences nearby. Very pretty views, especially from Hotel lobby and restaurant terraces. Very good food- Asian and European options. Fantastic location for views while enjoying the extensive breakfast choices. All the staff were so helpful and friendly - always smiling. Good standard of English spoken. Laundry service. We had a Mountain View deluxe bedroom with a big terrace and spacious room. Big comfortable bed.

The room itself was a little bit tired and could have done with some maintenance (fresh paint etc). The bathroom smelt musty and the bath leaked, even though we didn’t use it, so we needed to keep a scented candle burning to cover up the smell. That said, we were still pleased with our choice and would recommend this hotel.

Surrounded by nature, close to amazing waterfalls and a fantastic ethical elephant sanctuary 5 min drive away called Elephant Nature Lovers. Rooms are spacious and modern but in keeping with Thai Culture! The view from our room and all around the resort was amazing looking over the jungle and farm land. The staff were all so lovely and smiley and they helped with getting us a moped for the duration of our stay. We will defo be recommending! The thai food on the menu was delicious and the breakfast was also great!

Some of the sun loungers and umbrellas need an update but otherwise it’s a great area!

Beautiful setting and relaxing atmosphere. Room was very spacious including a large balcony and the bed was comfortable. Very lovely landscaping and clearly a huge amount of thought has gone into the design. Very nice dinner food at relatively reasonable prices (for a hotel). Staff very attentive.

The location is a little remote. We were aware of this and you can actually still get Grab in this area which was an affordable option for us to get around whilst we were staying here. The swimming pools were very cold - would have used them more of a little warmer.

Awesome stay at Panviman, we had the Jacuzzi villa, massive room/villa with its own big balcony, unfortunately it didn’t have much of a view just tree’s. The jacuzzi villas are also on top of another type of room which has stairs on the balcony connecting them which is closed off but still not very private as the door used is slotted and looks directly into the Jacuzzi villas shower. Pool area looks idyllic, and it is besides how freezing cold the pool is (we went in January) it isn’t heated but it is ok once youve swam for a minutes and there is a heated large Jacuzzi on the top level. Breakfast was really good, huge variety, made to order eggs/waffles/pancakes and coffee plus all the other bits you would expect. The evening food I would say lets the place down as it really isn’t as good as other restaurants we sampled while in Thailand but double the price, and the service isn’t all that great either.

House keeping only turned up around 5pm which is too late in the day so mini bar wasn’t replenished etc. Pool is freezing. Restaurant service and food could be improved.

We stayed 4 nights in a deluxe mountain view room. The room was spacious and clean and had lovely views. Hotel is beautiful with gorgeous grounds and amazing swimming pools. Breakfast is wonderful. We dined three nights and the food was all great with a very varied menu. Staff are all excellent.

Only downsides were the very intermittent wifi in our room. We also asked to upgrade to a vacant pool villa the final night but they wanted to charge us three times the fee that was suggested by the difference between our room and the villa on all the booking sites. They refused to match and it was too late to upgrade on booking.com who just refused to assist us despite us asking more than 48 hours in advance. They turned down money by not being flexible.

Everything, just everything, the stunning views are worth the fee alone! Staff were first class and absolutely attentive. If you want 'lively', this is not for you. If you want peace and quiet, you're in the right place. Word of caution, it's built on a mountainside, so steep walking! Food is of the highest quality, superb wine menu, albeit 'pricey', but it is imported!

Lovely setting in the mountains. Staff pleasant. Jaccuzzi Buggies to transport you around site. Breakfast good. Free yoga on Sunday morning.

Beautiful swimming pool you can't use because it's so cold, not heated. No proper information book so you know what's available, you can scan a QR code but found it useless. As we were leaving found out we could have got a shuttle bus to night market in town 3 time a week but no-one told us. Really upset as hotel is isolated and local taxi is very expensive. The spa facilities and drinks expensive. My safe in room was not bolted to floor so useless till they fixed it.
