Location: Excellent, many places within walking distance, ~80 baht for grab into old town. Hotel provided complementary bus into town at set times Breakfast: Menu breakfast but could order as much as you want with small self-serve buffet of fruits, breads, pastries, and cereals. Food was of high quality. Best coffee we’ve had in Thailand. Fresh cold press juices and mimosas included. Room: Comfortable, well designed, bed was so comfortable and had a pillow menu. Provided extra amenities such as chrome cast. Bathroom was gorgeous. Facilities: Pool and hot tub were lovely and never too crowded. Gym was small but has everything required. Staff: Attentive, and friendly, they gave us excellent recommendations for places to go, and would always follow up and ask how it went. They had excellent security, taking note of what cars we left in and ensuring we were safe. Extras: Complementary afternoon tea (which was delicious), mini bar resorted for free once per day (included a beer, a Coke, some snacks, and milk drinks). If staying in a suite, returning guest, or long stay (>5 days) had access to lounge in evening that had complementary soft drinks and snacks. Overall excellent stay, would highly recommend for anyone going to Chiang Mai

The hotel exuded quiet luxury, with every detail thoughtfully curated to create an atmosphere of refined elegance. The staff were not only gracious and attentive, but genuinely warm — making the experience feel deeply personal. Though I arrived with high expectations, the room surpassed them all: more spacious, more beautiful, and more serene than even the website suggested. It felt like discovering a hidden gem dressed in five-star polish.

There’s really nothing negative I can mention

Everything was perfect. We have stayed at a few different places in Thailand and all have been amazing, but Maladee is in a league of its own. The attention to detail here is incredible - they really have thought of everything (I thought the Dyson hairdryer was a nice touch). Pool is stunning and so calm, and you’re welcomed to the pool with a refreshing drink each day. The breakfast is fabulous, so much variety and then there is daily complimentary afternoon tea as well. Rooms are cleaned twice a day and in the evenings they put a nighttime lemongrass drink in your room for you. They really didn’t let us lift a finger our entire stay, could not recommend highly enough!

Everything was perfect! From our arrival to departure, they treated us like royalty. It's definitely the best hotel experience I've ever had. Room was spacious, clean, and relaxing. Staff were very friendly and super accommodating. Bar next to the pool had some of the best and unique cocktails! Pool itself was clean, large and relaxing. The jacuzzi was also nice. In general they really thought about the small details for your stay (such as sandals for the pool). We ordered room service one night and it was delicious!

We spent our first weekend of our trip to Thailand at this hotel and couldn’t have started our holiday in a better way! Everything was just perfect, from the exquisite design and decor of the premises, to the welcoming staff and the quality of the food and drinks both at breakfast and lunch. Our room was beautiful and spacious, with lots of natural light and cleaned to perfection. The swimming pool and gym were also a nice addition and something we were happy to take advantage of to get a break from the heat! The hotel is within walking distance from the old town and located on a quiet street with other nice and modern hotels. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again if we’re ever back in Chiang Mai!

This hotel has the best staff - they are all wonderful, polite and very helpful. The hotel is very, very clean and the room we had was absolutely lovely. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and well equipped. I celebrated my birthday at the hotel and housekeeping decorated the bed and left me a bead bracelet as a gift (so thoughtful and a lovely thing for me to have as a keepsake). The pool is very nice and the Jacuzzi is heated. The terrace bar is a lovely place to sit and have a drink and we were very well looked after by the bartenders - so attentive and always happy to give us their time. Breakfast is served in either an air conditioned restaurant or on the outside terrace (whichever you prefer) both being a lovely place to sit and eat. There was a good selection of breakfast foods and quality was high. We loved our stay and would happily recommend this hotel and the wonderful staff.

The only thing that we didn’t like was the sun loungers as they had no mats and were hard to spend any length of time on. Please note however, we are an older couple that need a little more comfort and for a lot of guests, we are sure this would not be an issue. The sun loungers were large and of good quality (just no mats)!

The hotel is white and clean, upon arriving the hotel, everyone was smiling which gave us a very warm welcome and we felt very comfortable. The staff provided us a detail introduction on the facilities we can use with the opening hours, the information was also provided in paper so that we can check easily for the timing, everything was good. We booked the pool access suite, which included not only the complementary breakfast, but also the access to the lounge and tea in everyday afternoon. We like the pool very much, it's deep (1.2m) enough for us to swim and the warm jacuzzi is the highlight, we are so relaxed in the warm strong pool. August is not the peak season in Chiang Mai, the pool is not busy anytime and we can enjoy swimming all day.

Loved the beautiful and tastefully designed hotel from the moment we arrived. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. I would like to express special gratitude to Linlin, who speaks excelent Chinese and was extremly helpful and gentle with the kids. We appreciate Linlin for the restaurant recommondations. F&B was another high light! We love the a la carte breakfast ! You could have both western and Thai style breakfast as you please. The afternoon tea was also enjoyable! For a family that loves pools, it was a pity that we didn’t get much sunshine due to the rainy weather, but the jacuzzi was heaven! We would definately come back again!

It rained heavily during our stay so the room floor felt very damp and humid, but the hotel provided a dehumidfier so it was okay. Maybe there could be more children friendly chamnels would be nice.

Concerns about raw produce were swiftly dispelled, as we encountered no issues with freshness or quality. While the fitness center was compact, it was well-equipped, catering to all my exercise needs. Personally, I found great pleasure in daily laps within the expansive pool. Furthermore, the inclusion of a complimentary mini-bar stocked with glass-bottled water was a thoughtful touch, catering to those with preferences beyond sugary beverages. In every aspect, this hotel exceeded our expectations. The impeccable service, superb amenities, and delightful experiences made our stay truly unforgettable.
