Originally booked for 5 days ended up staying 20 days. Receptionists very friendly and helpful speak very good English. Cleaners everyday, water and coffee topped up everyday.

10/10 - Easily one of my favorite hotels in CM. Every time I arrive in Chiang Mai, I stay here for the first few days/week when I know I want to cool place to rest away from the hustle and bustle. Place is impeccably clean - rooms, common areas, pool. I have serious mold allergies, so I am serious about clean and dry accommodations. Staff is awesome and welcoming. Rooms are huge by my standards. Beds super comfy. Staying down an alley in what feels like a small compound gives so much privacy and easy vibes. High quality supermarket, 7-11, massage, pharmacy, all about a 4 minute walk. My favorite motorbike rental spot - [Vanada Tour, 28 Charoenprathet Rd] is right across the river (say hi to Eddy and his pops - tell them Eli the American said to hook it up) - they're not on google they're so low key, but they're always willing to negotiate some great rates on a little 125 click. *This time we had a pretty substantial flood in CM, knee-high water came right up to the hotel. They were so prepared they put up sand bags and with 2 feet of water right outside the facilities, we stayed completely dry. I forgot to buy rubber slip-on shoes so the owner gave a pair of his - and wouldn't accept any money for them. Just warm good hearted down to earth Thais - AND CLEAN! *And make sure to let them know if you come after 0:00 because they don't have 24-hour receptionist so they have to pop out to check you in - which I don't mind because I don't have to say hi to someone if I'm coming back to my room at 5:00 in the morning ;)

The drawbacks are very minor, and not an issue to mea at all, but to make an honest review.. - The pool isn't great for sunbathing because the sun doesn't hit directly very long (which is also a plus when it's super hot) - It's not quite as "all-inclusive" food and drink-wise as some hotels, they have a small cafe so it's nice to order some actual real espresso (!) and some really delicious and affordable breakfast and lunch options. As I said - this is about all I can think of

Chirin Home was an amazing place. The two receptionists are extremely helpful and friendly and make sure that any problem is sorted quickly. They also speak very good English so any questions you have can be answered easily. I stayed here for a month and the room had all the amenities that you would need including a drying rack, refrigerator, microwave and a sink. It was very clean and located on the other side of the Ping river, a short walk to the Kalare night bazaar and Grab is available if you want to go into the city. Close to the hotel there is a 7/11, Rimping supermarket, barber shop and a very good massage shop. Overall it was a great stay and I will come back here when I visit Chiang Mai again

I had a small bedbug problem in my 3rd week but the receptionist made it extremely easy for me by immediately changing my room and the problem was sorted. This can happen in even the best hotels so it is not a reflection of the hotels cleanliness. It is a very clean place.

It was the loveliest stay ever. Everything was so comfortable and CLEAN! The beds were so heavenly soft, rooms were clean, always stocked up with water. I arrived on my birthday and the building manager surprised me with a little cheesecake tart and a candle (I presume she saw it on my passport because I didn't mention it). It was a very sweet and personal touch to the stay. As many have mentioned, it's tuck slightly far away so it's quiet. There's a 7E nearby. If you love walking then the distance wouldn't bother you, if not, it can get quite tiring because most things are quite a fair distance but bolt is super cheap so that came in handy for us. All the staff members were really sweet and friendly. It was perfect.

Very clean, the location out of the tourist hustle but easy to walk to. Room was massive. Wonderful family that owns and runs it. Bed was comfortable. Unfortunately I was there in the OCT 24 Chiang Mai floods and we got flooded, like the rest of CM. Cannot say enough for the family that owns and runs it. They supplied up with food and water and smiles all while the hotel was flooded up to about waist height and we could not leave. It was unprecedented what had happened and I was so grateful for their assistance to us all and utterly heartbroken for them and all the Thai people this wet season. Thank you so much Chirin Home, when I return to CM I will stay again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Chirin Home. The room was clean, spacey and homely decorated. They have a washing machine and a very good dryer, this makes traveling very comfortable. And as a bonus you can freshen up in the pool after a long day exploring the city. The hotel is located close to the old town and you can easily walk to a lot of great spots and local markets. But most of all I really enjoyed the great atmosphere and the nice staff, who were always ready to help. I will definitely come back next time I'm visiting Chiang Mai.

Superbe value for money. Friendly staff. Spacious, clean, light, comfortable and nicely furnished room. Lovely little outdoor café and pool space. Nice and quiet vibe! A little out of the center (so not ideal for short stays), but nice local neighborhood and cool cafés within easy reach by foot. Not far from a really nice supermarket and from the night streetfood market too. Fantastic place for a longer stay in Chiang Mai.

My husband is still raving about the quality of the latte and pastries we ate for breakfast! The lobby setting with pool is very compact yet it feels spacious and "screened off" from the city to create a little oasis. The bed was king-size and the walk-around areas were ample for clothes storage and shopping. We came to shop at Baan Thawai, outside of town and the location on Chiangmai-Lamphun road allowed us to travel there without going through downtown.

We did not know that the bottled water in the room's refrigerator was free! We actually ran out to the grocery store to buy more.

Me and my partner recently stayed at Chirin for what was meant to be only a few days, immediately after we arrived we became unwell from food poisoning at a previous location. Chirin went above and beyond to care for us during this period, they kept our room spotless, extended our stay, provided us with an emergency phone number if we felt unwell out of hours and always greeted us with a smile when we were well enough to venture out of our room. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay, despite the circumstances, as it remained a clean, happy environment, close to all amenities we needed (as well as plenty of shops and the local markets). Thank you Chirin and we will be sure to visit again. They also arranged a super reliable bike rental service.

Staff were extremely friendly and helped book and recommend activities, incredibly clean room and communal areas, quiet, relaxing, had a nice atmosphere, great location! The ladies on reception gave us a towel to swim after we had checked out and looked after suitcases as we waited for a flight that evening. They even went above and beyond and sent our swimwear in the post as I had forgotten it. We are so appreciative of Chirin and would highly recommend to all!

The bed could have been a little comfier but that is really picking!
