My main decision to come to this hotel was strong internet Wi-Fi because I did remote work. And it’s true 30mbps amazing I could do zoom meetings without problem! And in between dipping the pool!!! Amazing! Everything clean and proper!!! The AC is really a good one!! The area is just good near to the river and you cross the bridge and you are in the middle of chiang mai action!!! Totally recommend!!!

Great location if you’re looking for a spot away from the busy night life area. 10 min walk to night markets. 25 min walk to old town. But plenty to see on the way so feels a lot shorter. Staff are very friendly and happy to help with any requests.

Could do with more sun beds or telling people to not leave towels while they leave the hotel for 4-5 hours. But I’m always happy to do that myself.

The beds are huge, I loved that. The staff was so kind to me always. It was perfectly located for what I needed, the pool is nice and long and always clean. Did I mention the staff is impeccable?

The plumbing system is honestly not the best. Have to keep the toilet closed because sometimes you can smell it all, which is not fun. There were also 2 roaches in there in separate occasions, one fat one (they removed it for me) and another smaller one. It's just that plumbing, it's embarrassing and unhygienic. Oh the kitchen & washing machines could also do with a bit of cleaning and organising.

Peaceful neighbourhood, possibility to do laundury (free of charge), tea and coffee - no limit, nice staff, pool was ok

Room and bathroom were very small. There was no wardrobe so we had to keep our things in the backpacks all the time. Bathroom didn't provide privacy - door had little holes. When you wanted to turn on the light in the bathroom it was also turning on in the room (problematic when one person want to sleep). No hand towels (only bath towels available)

The hotel was very welcoming and everything was clean and well looked after. I stayed in Apartment A by the swimming pool and was given a lovely corner room that overlooked the pool. They offer free coffee with a really nice coffee machine, and the breakfast was also really yummy. It was about a 15 min walk over into old town, so it was in a quiet area but close enough to get to the markets and coffee shops ect. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were modern and well kept. Id highly recommend this hotel and would definitely go back again :)

Staff very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast modest but perfectly adequate and inexpensive. Pleasant quiet area.

Not a problem, but be aware that there are three buildings. Building A is the main one with the swimming pool. Buildings B and C are over the road. Building C has a shared kitchen. You may wish to consider the options when you book.

Celosia is a truly 3* hotel - do not expect 5* amenities, but what you get is friendly and 24/7 helping stuff with very good English skills and spotless clean room. I booked room in building C and got C4 on ground floor with garden view. Room is spacious and very quiet - pictures are bit mis-leading - it is a big room, not separate bungalow. Hotel is short walk from main Night Market and also "old town" is within 15-20 minutes leisurely walk. Complimentary 2 big bottles of water per day were very welcoming. We had several mobile devices (6+) with us that required charging and this is the first hotel room ever which had more electrical outlets than we needed at the same time. And the best - big cup of very good machine coffee in the morning for 30 baht (€0.86) :)

Although I am used to harder bed than perhaps average, I have to admit, that beds were almost on an edge for me as well when it concerns hardness :)

Big, nice, clean rooms but lack in facilities, charming and helpful receptionist. I unfortunately don't remember his name, but he was very welcoming, warm, and helpful. He arranged room massages for us, got us a taxi driver at a very good price for almost a full day, and helped suggested great activities to do in Chiang Mai. The pool looked very clean and inviting but didn't get a chance to use it. They have a delicious simple breakfast at an extra cost in the mornings. They provide 2 free water bottles daily. Good value for money.

No storage in the rooms. Beds were ok but not too comfortable for me who likes soft beds. The AC wasn't working great in my room.

The location was convenient and a little off from busy Main Street, which we loved. Very close to a great supermarket and if not walking distance, the staff helped us get share ride. The staff were so above and beyond with excellent service! We once needed a ride back from a big mall and he could send us a ride pick up. I left my clothes accidentally at a hotel and he could help me mail them to me to the next hotel! The room was always cleaned up without us asking! The bonus was they have washing machines we could use for free!

I can’t think of anything to point out.

The hotel is very closer to the city center. You can simply walk to the city center. There is a 7-eleven very close by (even though Google Maps doesn’t show this when searched). There are facilities to wash your clothes and dry them as well. We had their breakfast (paid separately) and it was really good for the price you pay. When we checked in, we had an issue with 2 rooms we got as the A/C did not work properly, but the staff was really helpful and without any issues they changed the room twice. Also, they helped us find a scooty for rent and it was delivered right into the hotel.
