Ama’s is a fantastic place to stay, close to the night market, modern and clean. The rooftop pool was fabulous and has great views. The staff were lovely and security was good. Has parking if you need it. Rooms did not share walls with other rooms so very little noise from other residents. Very convenient and reasonable. We booked a second stay after our first one.

You do get some music noise at night but it doesn’t disturb you or prevent you going to sleep and isn’t too late.

We had a great stay at Ama's House. Check in was very efficient and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size and clean and comfortable, with a lovely bed. The location was fantastic with lots of great bars and the night market on the doorstep, but we never struggled to sleep as it was very quiet inside the hotel itself. The pool and bar on the rooftop were fantastic with great views over the city.

We loved the pool on the roof but it just would have been nice if the bar had been open longer. The fitness room was good although the equipment was a little limited and it would have been a squeeze if anyone else had come in when we were using it.

I stayed 6 days at Ama's with my sister. It's a really cute boutique hotel tucked away in a street off the main road. Our room was large and spacious with two single beds as requested during booking. Room was cleaned everyday and each time the fridge was stocked with two bottles of water which made us happy. Sometimes we are so busy we forget to purchase any before heading back to the hotel. Rose (our host) was amazingly helpful with everything. She booked two trips for us (cooking & tour of Chang Mai) which we thoroughly enjoyed. We spent one day hanging out at the swimming pool (which was a little small as seen on the picture) but we didn't mind as we had the pool all to ourselves :). We stayed in hotels 5star hotels in Bangkok & Phuket before and after Ama's Boutique but we enjoyed out stay at Ama's the most!

We liked everything

This property is a beautiful boutique option! With only a few rooms, the hotel never feels crowded or busy. I felt like I really had my own apartment right in the heart of the shopping and nightlife. The staff is pleasant and always willing to assist with any issues, questions, or suggestions for locating items or activities. Vacation travel doesn't get much better than staying at a place like this.

If I had to note one issue, the property is minimally staffed, so they do post a limited check-in, check-out time. That didn't work for my flight schedule, but the staff quickly accommodated me when I communicated.

This was the second time we stayed in this hotel. We got a room upgrade. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean.. The front desk staff was attentive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. It's great value for money.

Nothing in particular. One suggestion is for the hotel to install a floodlight to brighten up the entrance area at night. The road leading to the hotel is very dim at night.

Property was relatively new. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Being a boutique hotel, there was one staff on duty at the front desk from 0700 - 2200. Staff was attentive and helpful.

Our stay was married by a choked shower drainage which resulted in slight flooding of the shower floor. Otherwise it was an enjoyable stay.

Clean, brand new rooms. Nice bathroom and other room facilities. Decent location: close to main areas but quiet at the same time.

Pool is very small. I’ve never seen a hotel with such a small pool. The rooftop bar next to the pool was closed the whole time. Only one person working at the front desk, and no staff available after 9 or 10pm.

For location, cleanliness and value for money this is THE best hotel I've ever stayed in. Most importantly the staff are incredible!! Five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Everything was perfect

Great spot near the night market and old city! The room was exactly what I expected—clean and comfortable. The rooftop pool was a nice surprise—usually empty, which was perfect for some quiet time. No breakfast, but that wasn't a big deal for me. Ross and her team were super helpful, making the stay smooth. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a solid hotel in a convenient location.

Very comfortable and quiet boutique hotel with well-appointed room. Friendly and helpful staff, with very quick check-in. Big shower with good water pressure. Nice open plan vanity/bath area, and lots of storage space. Small rooftop pool with a couple of loungers if you're looking to relax without being disturbed. Easy walking distance to the night market, and Sunday Night Market on Walking Street. Some good live music bars nearby (The A Ter and Melodic).
