The location is right in the night bazaar area of Chiang Mai, which is brilliant. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel. It is easy to get around the city. There are many restaurants and transport links just a short walk away. The rooms we booked are big in size. We will stay here again.

The room cleaning lady was sometimes demanding that she wants to clean the roon now or in 5 minutes. The tv channels were in Thai apart from some news channels, which I did not want to watch. Breakfast was included in the room price, which was limited in choice. Fresh fruits, fruit juices, eggs, rice, tea and coffee which would do the job if you wanted to eat before going on a day tour.

Property was in a good location, with a very nice restaurant just outside, just a short walk from the hotel was the night market with food kiosks and small bars, walking across the road took you to loikron road boxing stadium where it more lively with girly bars massage etc,The room was big, comfortable bed,and not noisy.Breakfast was adequate although a limited choice but for the price of the rooms it’s not costing you much, pool area was quite although big enough for a swim, great staff.Chaing Mai is not a expensive area.

Nothing good value for money in a prime location, will be back.

In the heart of the Night Market area in the middle.of Loi Kroh Rd meant lots.of eateries and shops, money changer etc - though prices drop if you wander a bit further afield. Old world opulence now some what faded but adds to the charm. Large room with a good view over the town and a full size bathtub. Breakfast was mix western/Thai and although selection was small, the helpings were fine and good to fill up to face the day Great swimming pool on the 4th floor - decent size and seemed to always be cool and clean.

As mentioned, things are a bit worn and the bed typical Thai hardness but like I say, it added to the charm.

This hotel is in the centre of the night markets, a short walk to the old town, quiet large rooms with great aircon, staff are fantastic. The hotel itself is getting old but still pleasant, nice swimming pool on the 4th floor which very few people used, breakfast is limited but the chef cooks a lovely scrambled eggs.

The hotel is showing its age.

Room is very spacious and clean. Hot water flask available. Bed is comfortable. Air-con working well. Bathroom comes with a bathtub as well. Pool is small but I enjoy my time there as there's no one else using it. Staff are friendly. No buffet breakfast, but its set breakfast is alright, quite filling. It's in a good location, very close to a number of night markets and food streets, and a mall with supermarket. Walking distance to Chinatown area.

Quite difficult and troublesome to adjust the temperature of the hot water for showering.

The hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly. Large room, excellent aircon. Excellent value for money and the staff were happy to extend my stay very easily.

The buffet breakfast was okay, personally I would have preferred cheese on the menu. Also, please use real butter, not that fake sweet stuff, I bought my own from the shop! The hotel is a little bit dated, but I would still recommend it and would be very happy to stay here again.

Breakfast was the typical hodgepodge of Asian and Western buffet with your choice of eggs on the side. Adequate and staff were helpful but hardy extravagent. Allowed me to fill up for the day, that was good. The rooms are large and airy and the airconditioning perfect. Views of the surrounding city (from the 15th flr) were great. Pool on the 4th floor was large, clean and cool - really nice for an afternoon or morning cool off and generally uncrowded. 2 elevators so the wait times were low. Hard Rock Cafe just to the front of the building and opposite a 24hr McDonalds. Several food and souvenior markets within walking distance and LohKroh Road night life a 100 or so meters away.

At first glance there is no one about at reception. Usually they are hidden in the back (airconditioned) office and you need to yell out to get their attention. However, once checked in, using the inhouse phone system the response was fast and efficient.

This place really grew on me. I thought I would give it a bad review for being so old, but it's definitely got a certain charm to it. The staff were always pleasant. Everything was cleaned daily. The location can't be beat if the night markets are your thing. The breakfast is pretty good. The rooms are huge. The view is nice, but a little blocked from the other hotels. The a/c is powerful, but the controller, in my room anyway, was tricky to use. Elevators are pretty quick.

The washroom situation isn't great. The shower head cant be adjusted and they installed the towel hanger at the back of the shower so you have to find another spot for the towels when you shower. Additionally the curtain is hard to position in a way that doesn't get the floor wet. The toilet is an old-fashion public washroom toilet. The building really shows its age, especially the exterior. The key is just a key, not a key card.

The best location in Chiangmai in the middle of the night market and nearby muslim halal food. No pork was served during breakfast. Room is huge and value for money.

The property is a bit old but everything is working. Breakfast was modest with eggs, salad, fruits, fried rice and noodle.
