the lobby is pretty, pool area was good and the everyone on staff is very nice and polite, especially Au at the front desk who helped us.

1. ceilings are way too low in some parts of the hotel, to the point where if you’re 1.8 meters you will need to tilt your head. We switched our initial room due to loud AC, got an upgraded room which was bigger but, super low ceilings and a window facing a wall with white stickers on it (to prevent you from seeing you’re facing a wall in a premium room) made it, despite its size, feel claustrophobic. 2. breakfast was overpriced and didn’t offer enough of a selection.

The facilities were all clean and neat, all the staff were very friendly. Housekeeping was excellent and satisfing. I especially liked the food and beverage service at the Level Lounge varied by time of day.

- I was a bit surprised to find a tiny ant on my plate, but I assume it came with the fruit, so it was understandable. Other than that, there were no issues with insects at all. - Fiber residue came off the big bathroom towels and it sticked to all of my face, so I had to wash my face again, likely because they were new and hadn’t been washed multiple times yet.

Sawa Dee Crap, Kob Kuhn mak mak Crap to the team at Melia Chang Mai, a wonderful, relaxing and peaceful stay that I experienced, which was much needed! I would certainly recommend visiting Melia Chang Mai if visiting the city. Food was great, all services above board and a great team of staffers which made the experience so memorable. I left another resort on the outskirts of Chang Mai due to work commitments and it did not fail to please., I stayed in the Level suit which was beautiful, clean and spacious, as the Hotel is located in the city center, the views were "city like" which is to be expected, not my preference although not a complaint. There is also a beautiful roof top restaurant and bar that overlooks the entire city with 360 views, walking distance from the "Old Town" and the buzzing "Night Market", an abundance of amazing street foods and Massage parlours. Great city with lots to do! A special thanks to "Ploy", who assisted me throughout my stay, such a kind and thoughtful lady, her efforts did not go unnoticed. Highly professional and efficient with each request/query made: I wish her all the best and Kob Kuhn mak mak crap for a memorable stay. Also, a warm thank you to "Mos", again, very professional and attentive to the needs of myself and other Hotel guests, always smiling with warm greetings. Thank you to the "The friendly Giant", (Apologies for not remembering your name) who seemed to be at the main entrance door prepared to open each time I entered & exited the Hotel, friendly and warm welcomes throughout the stay. I absolutely loved staying at this hotel. I can’t remember the last time I had such an exceptional experience at a hotel. The hotel is clean, it has great facilities, it’s very comfortable, I loved the pool area, the bed is soft and comfortable, and the staff are wonderful! They were always so helpful and lovely. The breakfast was amazing! Such great selection and delicious food. Will definitely look out for this hotel chain in the future. Thanks for making my time at Chiang Mai even better!

Nothing, everything was perfect.

A Perfect Hotel in a Perfect Location in Chiang Mai Just a five-minute walk from the Night Market. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always responding to any request with a smile and efficiency. The breakfast is rich, varied, and of a very high standard. The hotel has a large pool with plenty of seating areas and a really nice bar. The water was a bit cold, but it wasn’t a big deal. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Our room was huge, with a very comfortable king-size bed and a large, convenient bathroom.

Noting! It was perfect

This was the first time staying at a Melia hotel and it was FANTASTIC. The Melia Chiang Mai was beautiful and one of the best hotels i ever stayed at. The night market was only a short walk away, and getting hired cabs were very easy. The hotel was away from the city centre but it also provided lovely sky views and a nice peace away from the bustle of the city. The room was huge and GORGEOUS!! The room i booked had access to the Level lounge and it made the hotel stay amazing! We didn't need to rush for breakfast at the main ground floor restaurant as we had the choice to choose between going to the restaurant and lounge for our daily breakfast. Thou there was less food options, but the luxurious and comfortable environment of the lounge was unbeatable! We also had afternoon teas and cocktails at the lounge which we enjoyed so much. The staff of the hotel from the concierge, room service, level lounge and housekeeping were simply impressive, taking care of our stay all the time. Will certainly choose Melia Chiang Mai again if i ever come back next time!! Thank you for the wonderful experience! Love Love Love the hotel!

Room view wasn't great but everything else made up for it !

Beautiful hotel with the sweetest staff, good breakfast and a nice pool and kids club! All employees were so lovely with our two little kids of age 1,5 and 4.

The only pity for us was that they were renovating both the rooftop bar due to normal maintenance and the spa because of the floodings last year. Only the last night the sky bar was open again and it is really beautiful! We would have given it a 10 if those facilities would have been open too!

Wonderful stay - large rooms, extra comfy beds and an amazing shower in the room. Loved the pool beds and service.

The pool doesn't get the sun all day and was cold

The bathroom was really dirty, with dirt of previous guests on the floor and stain from others on the toilet and moistures in the shower and corner of the bathroom. Even after warning the reception and sending the housekeeping it was still the same. The day after none of the bin or empty bottle were removed from the housekeeping either. There is truly and improvement to do from housekeeping department.

We stayed here on new years and it was lovely, breakfast was delicious the room was spacious . Stayed by the pool and mostly ordered room service which was also delicious, the staff were very polite and kind.

There was one time where we ordered room service and it cost 800 baht and we gave the guy 1000 baht and told him to keep it as tip. When we came to check out we were told that we didn’t pay for that meal at all, we were in shock and explained exactly what happened. They then removed that payment. Which wasn’t a nice way to end the visit
