We had a truly memorable one-night stay at The Raviz Kadavu, Kozhikode. Nestled by the serene riverside, the property offers a perfect blend of luxury, nature, and warmth. A special mention to their grill restaurant "Garam"—an absolute delight for seafood lovers. The tawa-grilled Jumbo Prawns were perfectly spiced and succulent, while the Prawn Alleppey Curry with Steamed Rice was a comforting, flavourful masterpiece. We also thoroughly enjoyed their Chicken Hot & Sour Soup, which was just the right mix of tang and heat (pepper). The breakfast spread the next morning was diverse and satisfying, with something for every palate. One of the highlights of our stay was the motorboat ride on the river—a truly mesmerizing and calming experience that let us soak in the lush beauty surrounding the resort. Our room was cozy and well-appointed, and the hospitality was top-notch—prompt, courteous, and heartfelt. Whether you're looking to unwind amidst nature or enjoy a luxurious escape, Raviz Kadavu ticks all the right boxes. Highly recommended!❤️✨

This is a very beautiful hotel complex, which offers many free time activities and a gym with basic equipment. The pool was well maintained and the yoga deck offered a stunning view. The breakfast and dinner buffet offered a big variety of different Indian and also continental dishes. The staff was very polite and always ready to help.

Unfortunately the AC did not work in our room, so we had to switch room. The next room did not have a nice view and was very loud :( So we decided to get an upgrade to a room with the nice river view again.

I liked the serene location of the property, Rooms were large and neat. I had extended balcony. There were many activities within the property like cycling walking, GYM, swimming pool, indoor games, fish feeding, River cruise which are good. Staff were courteous

Food on certain days was not to my expectation. I tried lunch Ex: pineapple morucurry was pathetic ( was expecting an authentic food). Food served was more suited to North Indian tourists than dishing local dishes as highlight. F&B service staff often forget the order, have to keep reminding them of the order. It went to an extent no one took responsibility of the order and they keep going and serving others. I do not know, if it is due to understaff situation, or staff don't care.

We spent two nights over Christmas at The Raviz Kadavu Hotel and enjoyed the extensive grounds and the view from our room. The view of the river and palm trees was fantastic and created a relaxing atmosphere that we thoroughly enjoyed. Our room, with a terrace and view, was in excellent condition and spotlessly clean. We also thoroughly enjoyed the varied and delicious dishes at the hotel's restaurant. We would particularly like to highlight the restaurant manager Frince, as well as Krishnan and Adeeth, who took excellent care of us with their attentive and warm manner. At the bar, Aksay kindly advised us and also accommodated special requests. The team at the reception, led by Aslam, was exceptionally helpful. He provided us with valuable tips that enriched our stay. Rafi at the travel desk professionally organised our transfer. Our driver Roni not only brought us safely and comfortably to our destination, but also inspired us with exciting conversations in English. He also organised a break at an appealing location, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Thanks to the attention of the entire team, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

We are spontaneous travelers & very pleased that we chose The Raviz Kadavu from the many options we had available! The warmth in the welcome from staff created the perfect ecosystem for what awaited our weekend stay! Anu took time to assist us find a room with the view that left us staring out the window for hours in absolute awe. Strolls in the well sculptured gardens provided the perfect environment for thriving biodiversity....one needs to use all senses to soak in the beauty of life! Indian classical music fills the reception hall and on some nights live classical performance leaves one's soul singing for days after. The wholesome breakfast is complimented by a breathtaking view of the backwaters accompanied by delicious discussions with a young version of 'SRK' sharing intricate stories about his village & life at home with his family. Enough food for thought! We left The Ravaz Kadavu with our body, mind & souls feeling refreshed, restored and ready to head back home to continue our meaningful work! The proximity to the airport and travel route. Quality was acceptable but old for what was charged

I could see bare cement rock wall from window of some addition to the hotel that did not seem to fit the look.

Generally a good facility. Staff members were very professional in their approach.

Definitely room service. It has to improve considerably. Both of us were very much dissapointed on this count. One of the reasons could be shortage of staff at busy hours. Must put in effort to find out the weakness in the system and remedial measures are taken by taking staff into confidence. Any investigation on this subject must be in a "blame free" atmosphere to get the better results.

bathroom lock in room no.401was little hard. The dinner buffet menu can be improved by including some more continental options. many of Indians prefer masala tea in morning. I would have appreciated inclusion of masala tea bags in room.

Kadavu is a great 5-star resort in Kozhikode with plush reviews, gorgeous views, and awesome staff. See the detailed review below. Rooms The ambiance is set up in a very touristy manner with boats, woodwork, spices clothes, mirrors, etc. They have deluxe rooms - Rooms on the higher floors have a better view than ones below; as you get too close to the ground and below ground floors it's too close to the river and trees block your view. The cottages are ideal for celebrating couples. They have two restaurants - one is a dining area known as Keraleeyam and then a lounge bar ideal for small cocktail parties. Nearby activities Service: The staff is really friendly. The spa has both Ayurveda and Western therapies - including scrub, cosmetic, muscle, and aroma. They have a play area, a huge pool. Activities that can be planned with the help of staff is - archery, houseboat (individual or group), and cycling. The only thing missing is Valet parking - which is not a big deal. If the hotel is overbooked - you will find yourself hunting for a parking spot. Food & drinks Food is average. Kozhikode is famous for its cuisine and eating joints, but Kadavu misses that edge. They can do better on this front. The breakfast buffet is scrumptious with both Kerala and western spread with live counters.

Lovely, calm & luxurious property right by the river on the National Highway. Staff were very courteous and professional. Rajulal & Adith from the restaurant were very helpful & so was Rishad from the gym. We were there for one night and really enjoyed our stay. Food was also excellent.
