We came to this hotel because we wanted to see the old cottages near by the sea where a famous french writer came to hide after WWII and the location was perfect as it was only 5 minutes from there. You can also take a walk to the forest and to the beach very easily which would be nice in summer. I loved the foggy weather on the morning, the calm and the delicious breakfast. We also enjoyed the big sofas near the chimney. All the family would love to come here again.

I am not big fan of the carpet on the bedroom, I dont find it hygienic so I would recommend to bring sleepers. Our family room had one bed and one sofa bed. The sofa was really not comfortable and gave me back pain

If you don't have the car, the only way to get tot the hotel is to call taxi or walk for 2km from busstop.

The hotel has a cool vibe. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant has a gorgeous view! The seaside was a lovely walk and the billiard tables were an added bonus for our family.

Pretty small room which was rather tired. Could do with a revamp! Had to push beds together even though asked for double bed. Very poor flush on toilet!

Well-kept hotel, a good breakfast, you can order a dinner in the evening (delicious!). Very helpful and nice staff. Beautiful surroundings with forests around and the sea. A great place to get in touch with nature.

The main building was beautiful and there was a very good breakfast. Excellent parking and a lovely walk down to the sea from the hotel. The room was bigger than we expected as it was advertised as a small double but was just fine for 2. They were very welcoming, especially considering we didn’t arrive until 1am due to our flight being delayed.

The place, location, room and everything besides the food was excellent. We loved the view, calmness of the place, location that was the main purpose and the chance to rest and relax. Beautiful and fancy place, as me and my partner wished. great design, a lot of space, and attractions. Staff very friendly and helpful. We will come back for sure, just more prepared food wise. 😀

Price for the buffet was horrible. we have lost 520 DKK, and left as hungry as we entered. The food had no taste and misunderstanding with the waiter made us believe that we will pay 60DKK per plate, not 250DKK. Which made us leave very disappointed and wait until the breakfast to actually have some choice and food with taste - worth it’s price. The bar could also offer better drinks and maybe a bit more of professionalism. Since the location of the hotel does not let order any food from outside I truly believe that You should pay more attention to food for everyone - and having more stuff - so they actually have time to speak slowly and calmly, not in rush in between serving and cleaning other table, so we can be informed well.

The MAIN thing: Sign-posting of the hotel must be improved!!! Why are there no proper signs on the main roads 265 and 150? A detailed description how to get to the hotel in Booking would help as well. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere and there is only one road to get there. Car navigation system guided me into a small country lane that turned into a dead-end in a farming area. The suggested detour misguided into the forest with no access to the hotel either. Once you find the small sign "Camping" you are on the right track but even here additional sign-posting is a MUST! The restaurant offered an extremely small choice of food. Quality was very nice but only a few items on the menu card is far too little. For example, no salads available... This is poor!
