This place is stunning. The pictures don't really do it justice. We had a really spacious room with a view of the river. The bed was so comfortable, I'm now trying to buy the same mattress! The shower was great, the furniture beautiful and the breakfast delicious. Note that they do provide breakfast, you just have to order and pay for it separately. From the train station, it's about a 15-20 minute walk, crossing the river. The location is great as it's right next to the market and a short walk from the city walls. We had a really relaxing, peaceful stay in Balaguer.

We arrived early hoping to at least drop our bags off. As it turned out, we were able to check in which we were grateful for. However, we were greeted quite frostily. Customer service was the only thing that let this otherwise superb b&b down.

The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Towels are thick and sumptuous. Terrace looking over the river is lovely. Secure parking available within the building for motorcycles (10 euros per day). The character of the building is exceptional. The hosts are very and helpful.

The hotel was very tidy, clean and nice. Location is also perfect because it’s in the middle of downtown. The receptionist was flexible and very kind even they did not speak English but it was easy to communicate. I suggest people to call them if they do not answer on Booking.

Lots of stairs, so if that is problem for you with luggage, perhaps this accommodation is not for you 😊 We were quite directly suggested that rather we should eat breakfast at some cafe, not at their place (it would have been 15€ extra per person).

This was an overnight stop so we did not visit the town but the location was good. This is an old building with enormous rooms and a small balcony. Very comfortable bed. No dining on the premises but the local restaurant and bakery in the market place were excellent.

The hôtel is in the city center, it is very pretty, in an old convent. The deco is beautiful. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff was very nice and helpful. The room was a little bare but very clean. I had a balcony and loved it.

The walls were very thin in between my bathroom and the other rooms' bathroom, and I could hear everything. I did not mind it myself, but maybe the room should have had some curtains for people who want to sleep in in the morning.

A real gem! We spent one night with friends in two of the suites and really liked the experience! A beautiful old palace, with really nice and helpful staff, and a perfect location for visiting the nearby region.

What an amazing place to stay... Loved the location and feel of the hotel. Great view from our terrace over the river and restaurants just a short stroll from the accommodation.
