rooms and bathrooms were nice and clean. Beds are comfortable. The view on the bay just outside the gate is great. There's a nice walled garden where you can enjoy some quiet time under an orange tree.

Don't hesitate to ring the bell ! We spent quite some time waiting at the reception for the hostess to check us in, she spotted us while watering the plants but only came in when we actually rang the bell.

Very good hotel. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. There are about 7 parking spots outside walls. Enough in Nov but could be a problem in summer. Hotel is in a small village with limited parking. Our new rating item is "Can you get to back of TV to insert Firestick?" The answer is Yes. Australian subscribed Apple, Prime and Netflix work in Europe and UK. Despite possible issue with parking I would recommend staying here. It is as good as it looks.

This is a lovely place to stay. So beautiful, clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was fabulous - a full bathtub, which I had not seen so far on our trip Although the hosts speak only Spanish, they are very good with google translate, so they make conversing easy. The host was very kind and drove us to a place for dinner and then also picked us up! A lovely breakfast was included, and the price was more than reasonable - this was our favourite place to stay so far!!

Beuatifully restored building in a small village close to Santander. The owners could not speak English and we could not speak Spanish but we got on fine. The room was compact and comfortable just right for our one night stay amy longer and we would recommend a room with views. Breakfast was excellent.

Lovely and clean posada. Room and bathroom was pretty large, and water pressure and temperature was excellent. The hosts were really friendly and the property was nicely kept. Loved to wake up in the countryside being only a 15 min drive from Santander. Best restaurant “La Antigua” 3 min away

You need to drive through some winding small roads to get there (not a big deal)

A beautiful posada with nice views in the old part of the village. The staff are very welcoming and there is a bar and restaurant area where they do breakfast. In the evening you can only get pizzas but there are several restaurants nearby. The rooms are spacious and have good sized bathrooms.

Very polite and attentive hosts whi os ready to help and show interesting site seengs despite of no English. Super clean room, great house, nice garden. Not reach breakfast but there is some choice and no problem to get more coffee (very tasty) and juce. Awesome cleaning or the room - like 5-stars hotel.

To our regret air conditioner doesn't work. That all.

The hotel was beautiful. The hosts were excellent and went over and above to be helpful. This hotel is in a beautiful quiet area ideal for a retreat or some down time. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Everything. Nicest facilities I have seen yet. No restaurant around but the host offered to drive @8. I was too tired though.

Only the location for someone walking the Camino Norte is not handy as the Camino moved away. So you need to take the old route, which actually isn’t so pretty (but then again, I haven’t seen the new route).
