Great location and plenty of space with a nice view of the beach. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Best asset was its location away from the center - you can still hear electronic dance music on national holidays/some weekend days but it's not too loud in this location.

The unit is on the lower level and sandwiched between two units on the side so if you have louder neighbors they may disturb your peace and tranquility. Our unit also did not have a dishwasher which was a bit of a pain. It's a bit on the pricey end of places to stay as well.

This property was BEAUTIFUL even during the off season with rainy days it was paradise. The staff was incredible and so accommodating and the food was delicious. The pool was fantastic, the view was spectacular, and the wild life was something else! I got to watch a sunrise with a crab, and came back to my room to find a little lizard friend had come in while I kept my door open and took a snooze on my bed. Hermit crabs were a delight to spot by the river area as well, and seashell hunting was delightful! 12/10 will be back again, but with more people!!

You walkrights onto the beach from your room. The hotel offers surf and kayak rentals. During breakfast local saw scarlet macaw couple flying by and lots of monkeys in the high trees from our table, that was breathtaking! The area is remote with several secluded beaches within walking/ short driving distance. The hotel is located far enough away from Vanao beach to not be disturbed by partying people and close enough to enjoy the restaurants and so on.

The hotel is in a wonderful location — tucked away from the noise of the center, yet only a pleasant 5–10 minute walk along the beach to get there. Breakfast is simple but tasty, and everything felt fresh. The room was very clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

The only drawback was that our room had a connecting door to the neighboring one — although it was locked, it affected the sound insulation.

Facilities and grounds were very clean. Staff went above and beyond in every aspect - they were exceptional. They were very friendly and hospitable. The swimming pools were clean. The 2 bedroom apartment was a perfect size for 4 people and the kitchen had everything we needed. The view from the unit was beautiful. We were extremely happy with the location. It's at the quiet end of the beach.

The apartment area is shared by owners/renters and the unit behind us had a big dog they let go loose. It defecated by our apartment, came up to our dog who was on a leash (luckily our dog is friendly) and swam in the pool and was play biting/scratching at my partner.

Secluded and very nice location, away from a noisy beach of Venao, which gets crowded on weekends

Apartment was not equiped well with apliances and basic things to prepare even easy breakfast. Very big dissapointment, especialy when this was a third stay in area and we had a chance to compare. It is sold as fully equiped apartment, but they need an upgrade at least to kitchen ware.

Great location. 10 minute walk from the center so it is quiet enough from the commotion. Beautiful pool and view. Friendly staff

Our kid’s room was with 2 full beds. I would love if the bed will be Queen as we have 4 kids and the bed was small for 2. Would also love it if there will be a bit of light at night when walking to the center on the beach. Our room had see view but also the restaurant table just in front of it, so we couldn’t really open a curtain. Would also like if they had beach towels and a safe

Playa venao is a top spot especially for surfers; surf is the only one activity. The beach is very nice and well protected from big waves; Sea temperature is around 28 Deg which is quite pleasant! Room is big and well equipped; nothing fancy but all is fine.

Cleaning the access to the beach would be useful

I stayed in a king bedroom with an ocean view. The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed hearing the birds singing and chirping in the morning along with the sounds of the waves. It was a perfect stay. Everyone on staff is warm, friendly, and offer excellent customer service. The hotel is also away from the liveliness and energy of the music and partying of the other lodgings, which I appreciate.

The restaurant food was a hit or miss. Nothing extraordinary and sometimes lacking in flavor. My stay included breakfast, but I opted out after 2 days. Instead, I just had had coffee and juice majority of the time I was there. I had breakfast in the small-town bakery which is a short walk from the beach. I had dinner the first evening at the hotel and although the fish was wonderful the side rice was so dry. This was just minor thing though.

The location right off the beach was great and within walking distance of Playa Venao. Breakfast was good and staff was excellent.

I had the largest room except it was attached to the lobby. There was empty space where there could have been a table, chairs or desk. There was only a bed in the room with night stands and dresser and a TV that didn’t work (but I wasn’t there to watch TV). My room was also directly off the walkway where breakfast was served. I don’t blame the hotel for that, simply it was a room that was available. I would have preferred one of the smaller rooms in the separate building over which had a patio and hammock.
