I’ve end up staying there for a whole month because it was so good. Been traveling for the past 5 months and this was the most value for money stay I’ve ever had. Veronica the head of staff is the best, very lovely and caring for everything the breakfast was decent but worth it. The location could be better but it’s not as bad as people say. 8 min walk from center, and you can also rent a bike with no problem. I would 100% recommend and come back here!

The cabin was really close to the beach (1min by car, a few walking). Parking was plentiful. Everything is close. Room was quiet, aside from the howling monkeys next to it haha 😀 AC was really appreciated and worked well! Very comfortable stay. I especially loved frequent visits of hummingbirds that drank nectar from flowers that were right in front of the cabin :).

Very cool layout, good hostel vibes, very close to the beach, room was super clean+comfortable+functional, shower was nice and warm!! Breakfast in the morning is so good. Beach itself is really good for bars and meeting other people. Veronica is so lovely and made us feel super welcome (shoutout to Swell the dog too). Aircon is fabulous.

Literally the only thing, which was our fault, is just to make sure to book a taxi the day before leaving as it’s not as easy as in a city. But Veronica helped us with it! So thank you to her

We stayed three nights at Wao Jungle and we had a great time. We stayed in a small air-conditioned room with a shared bathroom, which overall was very good. The place is very clean and beautiful. But what we liked most was the attitude of the reception staff, especially Miguel, who took care of everything we needed and did everything to make our vacation perfect! Thank you!

The shared bathroom could have been better maintained. A bit expensive in terms of value for money (we were in rooms with shared bathroom)

We liked the attention of the employees to help with our needs, especially Gabriel who was very attentive in providing us with information throughout our stay. He also went above and beyond to provide support during a difficult situation. Gabriel was also excellent at providing translations in both English and Spanish. The room itself was clean, and the bed/pillows very comfortable. The breakfast was enjoyable and the chef's very friendly.

This is not a dislike but a suggestion. As mentioned Gabriel was extremely helpful and kind. However, for his benefit, we think he could be supported by another staff member as he was working alone in moments. This would be especially important if he was to face a challenging situation.

Everything, everything, everything. The management, the food, the staff, the vibes, the rooms. 10 out of 10 would come back again. And a very very special thanks to Veronica that made my stay 1000 times better!!!!

It’s quite far from the center but if you’re looking for a quiet and little bit more discreet place, that’s the perfect match for you

This place offers cosy rooms close to the beach. The small town and beach of Playa Venao are very picture perfect. The hotel has a restaurant that offers a good breakfast and absolutely delicious meals in the evening thanks to Juan (chef). Gabriel at the front desk goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. He helped us out a lot and made sure we had everything we needed. He is the absolute best! He even made sure that the hiccup we encountered when we tried to book a tour through the AMF website was sorted out. Thank you, Gabriel.

Leaving

This was my second time booking at Nao after extending my first stay, so I guess that says it all! You won't find a better value for money in Playa Venao. This time the staff even surprised us with an upgrade, so we were super happy about our room. The location is great, away from the loud music but still walking distance from the beach. It's a good spot to relax. Included breakfast was tasty and was prepared very quickly for us every morning. The place feels pretty new and the community areas are cleaned thoroughly daily. Staff is very friendly and helpful!

Staff told me they would further improve the community area coming season, so I think the experience will only get better. If I would have to say anything else I guess a separate trash bin for the room could be provided apart from the bin in the bathroom.

The staff, especially Gabriel from the front desk , is amazing. They do make you feel home and make everything possible to have a great vacation. Nao Venao Boutique Hostel is the best price / quality ratio in the area. its a short walk to the beach. There is a shortcut via Selina River so no walking on the street. breakfast is included which is amazing. the rooms are new and the area is very quite to relax. theres a kitchen available to cook but I did not make use so cannot comment on it. Thanks Nao Venao team for this great stay over 🙏

Absolutely amazing Breakfast, the design of the rooms was perfect for a getaway in Venao. Way better being a little bit out of the party infested beach. the best of both worlds the peacefulness of Venao but at a walking distance from the party!! amazing spot for surfers! great surfracks! also they had very cool firepits!
