This is a gem of a hotel! They have gone to great lengths to create a unique and inviting experience. I appreciated all the little touches like really nice body wash, handcrafted beeswax hand soap and the easy access keypad. The front desk staff was super friendly and the room was extremely clean. Beds were comfy and the price was great. It's also really cool how there are several outdoor seating areas and the dog potty areas were spotless.

The only issue being an older hotel is that there isn't much soundproofing. It was a bit noisy until everyone went to bed. It was hard for my dogs to settle since they could hear car doors outside and people coming and going. But don't let that keep you from trying this hotel! It really is a great place to stay.

No breakfast at the Stardust Motel. What was really fun were the retro frig and the retro microwave in our room. Good shower and lots of hot water. The air conditioner worked very well and was pretty quiet. The place was spic and span clean with no lingering cleaner odors which you get in some motels and hotels.

It was all perfect. We only stayed one night as we had to leave for Montana for white water rafting early the next morning. A list of good restaurants would have been nice. City Limits Brewery was packed with no promise of being able to serve us so we had to go elsewhere. A list would have been helpful.

The location was perfect for parking your car and walking to whatever it was you needed(groceries, meals, etc). Staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. We really needed a first level room, which wasn't available the day we got there. They were able to move us the next day to probably the best room in the motel and comped us a night for our troubles. Who does that? We were so appreciative. Great touches around the property with hammocks, fire pits and smore kits, hoses and clean rags and towels to clean your bicycle after the Hiawatha Rail to Trail which can get muddy. The office has a whole area for guests with toiletries you may have forgotten, extra coffee packets, etc. This is a very thoughtful motel! The location is right off of I-90 and so easy to get on and off the highway. Perfect for those trips passing through to or from Montana or Coeur D'Alene. A much quieter and less complicated setting than a bigger city. Last thing: The TIn Snug is a must for breakfast or lunch. Made from scratch delicious food, great atmosphere, and coffee.

Really everything was perfect for a comfortable stay.

I interacted with both the night and day staff and they were all super nice. The vibe feel very homey and family style. The location seems to be great too, close to the freeway but also near things in town.

The heater was super loud and right next to the bed, so even though it was super cold I had to turn it on to warm the place up and turn it off so I could sleep. Regardless it didn’t ruin my stay. The layout of my room was a bit strange making it hard to watch the TV. Suggestion: I’d move the TV console near where the beg is.

Great location-just one block to the historic downtown. The rooms are spotless and it's immediately noticeable from walking into the room that great care is taken. Even the baseboards and doors are spotless- things that are normally neglected. They've really thought it all out, from the full-size toiletries that are provided, to the cosmetic washcloths to the fridge and microwave and coffee maker. The two ladies working the front desk were a delight and so efficient working together to get everyone checked in. Easy parking, very comfortable bed and superb water pressure in the shower. This place is a gem.

The place was Great! We really enjoyed our stay. The room was Super Clean A++, and love the decor(especially the darling micro and fridge!

The only downfall on our trip is I didn't see when I booked that you would charge extra for pets. We have two dogs so when she said $30 for both this was a BIG amount for them that we weren't expecting. My dogs a very good, don't shed, well behaved and $60 is a little much I feel for them as nothing extra is needed for them.

First impressions: We loved the retro look of the place; it was completely in keeping with our “mid-century” vibe road trip that began on Route 66 and ended (last night of four weeks) in Wallace. Second impressions: The staff when we checked in were friendly, engaging, helpful and just generally delightful. The room was large, the two queen beds were extremely comfortable. The linens (bed and bath) were fresh and felt great against the skin. The “Jetson” vibe continued in the room with lamps and lavatory and decor. The fire pits outside were a very nice, welcoming touch.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property.

Late checkin. Easy to connect with staff about late checkin. Courteous and accommodating staff (it’s so good to have a live person answer the phone these days). Checking out was easy too! Location was ideal for our next day ride on Hiawatha Trail. Quiet street location, and found good street parking for our trailer. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room was clean, and contained the needed toiletries.

The road construction on the highway made it inconvenient to get to Stardust, but that wasn’t the hotel’s fault.

This is a great retro motel! It is very clean and comfortable. I stayed on NYE for my first time ever here. I was somewhat worried about what the night may be like. It was very nice! No loud late parties or whatever. There were people having fun but it was not at some out of control level. Close to restaurants and downtown Wallace! I will be back! Leave me a room..... (I should write a bad review so I can have it to myself.)

We love small family motels. This place was in a great location, downtown Wallace, and yet very quiet. We were staying with our dogs and there was a lawn area just adjacent to our room. The room was clean, spacious and light. Lots of towels and nice shampoo/conditioner provided. Ordered takeout from a cafe a couple blocks away and it was wonderful. So many TV channels provided as well. We would happily stay here again, so much nicer than a big chain hotel.
