The facilities were sparkling clean and everyone welcomed us like we were VIPs. We spoke with several other guests and many of them were repeat guests who loved the relaxed atmosphere and amenities. There were so many thoughtful touches - two gas fire pits, many Adirondack chairs, and two hammocks along with lawn games like cornhole we're all available for free on the lawn. We were there on a movie night and they set up a projector outside and showed a family friendly film that ended before the quiet hours between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. They are a very bike friendly hotel, even providing cleaning facilities including rags for your use. The Wi-Fi was exceptionally strong and reached everywhere including the lawn so you could be relaxing in one of the hammocks outside and still get Wi-Fi.

so many little amenities that just made the stay fabulous. This is not a 5 star hotel but it is a 5 star experience. From the welcome text on the day of arrival to the follow up text after check out, this little gem exceeded my expectations. The AC was just right, the beds were comfy. The rooms and premises were so clean. It is an older building but, you can tell upgrades and care and, maintenace occur regularly. They have a campfire with smore's fixings, hammocks available, wash stations for bikes, water, ice, cups and tea in the lobby. Little toiletries are available if you forgot anything. The staff was so friendly and helpful.

I can't think there were any negatives!

We loved the fact that the owners took care to update this old motel into something a bit funky and modern. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. We especially appreciated that the hotel provided shampoo and other products in bottles to be used by subsequent guests rather than the throwaway tiny bottles. The little honey soap looked to be locally made! Easy walking distance to some fun pubs and restaurants in town.

Parking near our room was taken so we had to park elsewhere on the property, which wasn't super convenient. The air conditioner in our room was on the noisy side, but it was very warm out, so it was working extra hard to keep us cool!

This is a sweet Motel that is located within walking distance to downtown. It is very clean and they have activities for their guests which include, campfires w/s'mores, hammocks, lawn games and movie night. The Registration office has Haba items, picnic items, t-shirts and souvenirs for purchase. The s'mores are BOGO. Children stay for free.

The only thing that seemed out of place in Room 11 is the TV was off to the right side of the bed, a ways off from the bed and we cannot see or hear as good in our 60's. So if the TV were in a better position for us old folks, that would be a plus.

This is a gem of a hotel! They have gone to great lengths to create a unique and inviting experience. I appreciated all the little touches like really nice body wash, handcrafted beeswax hand soap and the easy access keypad. The front desk staff was super friendly and the room was extremely clean. Beds were comfy and the price was great. It's also really cool how there are several outdoor seating areas and the dog potty areas were spotless.

The only issue being an older hotel is that there isn't much soundproofing. It was a bit noisy until everyone went to bed. It was hard for my dogs to settle since they could hear car doors outside and people coming and going. But don't let that keep you from trying this hotel! It really is a great place to stay.

What a nice surprise!! The owners of this motel thought of some fun little things that made it feel more like home. Hammocks between trees, A firepit with things to make s'mores. Bikes available. The room was comfortable with complimentary earplugs available. The town was super interesting and in such a beautiful setting.

They weren't open when we left. Didn't have ice available. We didn't check in until 7pm. Restaurants were open but we didn't see anything else that was. Shops either close earlier in the evening or are open on weekends only.

No breakfast at the Stardust Motel. What was really fun were the retro frig and the retro microwave in our room. Good shower and lots of hot water. The air conditioner worked very well and was pretty quiet. The place was spic and span clean with no lingering cleaner odors which you get in some motels and hotels.

It was all perfect. We only stayed one night as we had to leave for Montana for white water rafting early the next morning. A list of good restaurants would have been nice. City Limits Brewery was packed with no promise of being able to serve us so we had to go elsewhere. A list would have been helpful.

Thoughtfully restored to 1950s-60s-style look and vibe. Staff members were all friendly and helpful...each one seemed very invested in making sure everything was just right. Lawn games, outdoor fire pits and s'mores kits are provided. The room couldn't have been cleaner. Normally, a motel room is just a necessity to be endured during a vacation. This place becomes an integral part of your vacation experience. Highly recommended!

The air conditioner was a bit noisy, but the earplugs on the bedside stands solved that issue for me.

The location was perfect for parking your car and walking to whatever it was you needed(groceries, meals, etc). Staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. We really needed a first level room, which wasn't available the day we got there. They were able to move us the next day to probably the best room in the motel and comped us a night for our troubles. Who does that? We were so appreciative. Great touches around the property with hammocks, fire pits and smore kits, hoses and clean rags and towels to clean your bicycle after the Hiawatha Rail to Trail which can get muddy. The office has a whole area for guests with toiletries you may have forgotten, extra coffee packets, etc. This is a very thoughtful motel! The location is right off of I-90 and so easy to get on and off the highway. Perfect for those trips passing through to or from Montana or Coeur D'Alene. A much quieter and less complicated setting than a bigger city. Last thing: The TIn Snug is a must for breakfast or lunch. Made from scratch delicious food, great atmosphere, and coffee.

Really everything was perfect for a comfortable stay.

I interacted with both the night and day staff and they were all super nice. The vibe feel very homey and family style. The location seems to be great too, close to the freeway but also near things in town.

The heater was super loud and right next to the bed, so even though it was super cold I had to turn it on to warm the place up and turn it off so I could sleep. Regardless it didn’t ruin my stay. The layout of my room was a bit strange making it hard to watch the TV. Suggestion: I’d move the TV console near where the beg is.
