The service was excellent and very friendly, the room was nice, we ate at the hotel each night, there was a choice of starters mains and sweets, for a set price depending on how many courses you chose, (very reasonable priced, only €21 for full 3 course plus salad/veg) we had salad all three nights along with either a starter or main, 1st night pasta with venison ragu👍then pork wrapped in parma ham 👌lastly pasta with pesto😁 table wine was nice & very reasonable at €12, also loved the pinot grigio, which is my tipple, along with a few limonchello's and aperell sprites. The bar closed at 10pm but you could sit and enjoying your drinks in the lounge until whenever. We was on motorbikes and there was ample parking space in the garage and loads of fabulous roads /passes to go on, we didn't use the spa as we went out on our bikes, I would definatly recommend this as a place to stay.

It was very close to my son’s hockey camp. It was very clean. The rooms were spacious. The staff was friendly. They were very accommodating with spa services. The breakfast was nice and the dinner was reliable. It was perfect location in town. Walkable to a variety of shops, restaurants, and activities. Staff was knowledgeable and multiple languages which was helpful for us.

I am in love with this place. Super friendly and professional staff, great food, clean and very comfortable room. Amazing location — the mountains around are breathtaking. Just in 900m walk — a beautiful lake. Many hiking roads around, many places to visit. I will suggest this place to my friends and will definitely come back :)

Bed&room: excellent

Breakfast: bread rolls of the previous day (NOT of early morning); quality of "cereal" doesn't meet standards ; however, plenty of sweet cakes ... for those who like it

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived seeking to discover a piece of my ancestry and it felt like I was right at home. The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of Fondo, making it easy to walk throughout the town.

The breakfast & the welcome was very good. The room size & view was also excellent. and my partner was delighthed by the indoor pool size & temperature => 32°C

The diner was cheap (20 €) but not to my pleasure - green grey and overcooked. it had the taste of booking a "pauschal" holiday. The veranda door of the room was defect and hard to close.

Very nice, clean and comfortable accommodation. Although the owner/manager is very busy, he was always extremely kind and helpful. I can actually say the same about the whole staff, everyone was super nice! And if you are planning to visit the canyon, no location could be more convenient than this... it's literally a 5-minute walk away.

If I really have to be nitpicky, the elevator is always busy and waiting for your turn may take some time. If you have no heavy luggage nor mobility problems, you'll be much faster by using the staircase.

Hotel is very clean, great service, easy check-in. The location is wonderful in the center of everything and right next to the bus station.

They have a set schedule for dinner so when they say 7 to 8, they mean 7-8

This is a nicely decorated and well-maintained lodge and spa in the sleepy town of Fondo. The place was fancier than I expected, the (German) breakfast very good, and the staff helpful. I ended up leaving a night early because I wanted to be closer to the mountains, but I enjoyed my stay. When I stayed in early October, it was well priced too.

Check whether all the spa facilities are open, and map out day trips you want to do, because the driving times can be quite long.
