TV was unstable on most channels, was a rainy/windy weekend this may have contributed but audio would be on and off and screen would freeze, As Well, balcony door would not shut all the way, it closed but a crack was left open which wind could get through and make a “whistle” sound, same with the window in bathroom this was a bummer for sure also I’m sure not all rooms have this issue but the one I stayed in did however it was not a deal breaker

Staff was absolutely amazing. They were very friendly, helpful, and helped with any requests we had. Breakfast is a small but solid setup of bagels, pastries, yogurt, and coffee.

Rooms were a bit dirty - like no one had done a hard clean in a while. It was cleaned and ready for guests but needed a good deep clean. Elevators need to be updated.

Being so close to the Essex Market and trains was wonderful. The room was large and the view a good one.

That our stay wasn’t longer.

Very friendly and helpful staff and gorgeous views. Perfect location. I’ve stayed before a few years ago and was keen to come back.

The room was in very mild disrepair - e.g both window latches in bathroom and living room open so the handyman had to come; bathroom fan not working; paint peeling from damp in the bathroom. Plus one of the lifts was out so could be quite a wait in the morning. Nothing that disrupted my stay too much but feels like the rooms could do with a bit of a light upgrade to make sure everything’s well finished and in working order.

The 11th floor view was a great bonus. The location was right around the corner from a main subway stop (Delancy/Essex St). The bed was incredibly comfortable. The desk staff were very helpful and polite.

The sneaky "facility fee." What did we get for this? Breaking this out as a separate non-optional cost is misleading. If you have to have it, why not just include this in the room rate and be up front about it? We couldn't open our balcony door. Why not? The room next door had access to their balcony.

The location in the Lower East Side is excellent. The newly renovated lobby is very nice, and the views from the rooms and the size of the rooms with the big soaking tubs are great. Staff were very nice.

Some of the rooms (furniture), the elevators, (one of the 2 elevators has not been working for a while), and the hallways (carpets could use some cleaning) could use a little TLC. But this is still one of our favorite hotels in LES.

I really liked the balcony room with a view of the freedom tour (1 World Trade Center). Would definitely recommend this option to anyone, especially those who will be spending time in the hotel room or hosting friends over from other parts of New York.

I feel like I paid a lot for the location, which granted was in the lower east side, but for the amount I paid ($1200/3 nights), I feel like I was expecting more. More of what? I don't know. Possibly a pool. Maybe a larger gym. Our stay was fine and great, but I just wish the price we paid was slightly less ($1000/3 nights).

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, it was in a great location in the East Village, the continental breakfast was a nice plus that we were not aware of, nice social gathering areas.

While this boutique hotel was more than adequate, the bathrooms could use some updating.

That it was very nice and spacious and love that you could see out but wish the view was better view

That the sink wasn’t draining so every time we brushed or wash our hands in their the water with sit in there for hours before draining. Didn’t like that we couldn’t use the hot tube because it was only coming HOT water and unfortunately my daughter is 2 can’t put her inside that. She really wanted to play in there
