Great location, new facility, and great gym. Spacious rooms. Very comfortable mattress. New facilities-

Terrible customer service at check in. We had reserved a river view room and were given a city view room upon check in, even if the employee at checking had stated that it was a corner river view room. It was not and when I pointed that out, I was told that the hotel called it a corner room, even if it was not! Booking contacted the hotel to point out that they were supposed to have a river view room to no avail. Eventually they admitted that they had none left. The day after we were moved to a river view suite by a much more nice client relationship manager. Yet, the lack of professionalism of the front desk employees and manager during the night shift when we checked in was absolutely appalling.

The decor, ambiance, bedding, gym, location, Starbucks below…. Just everything was lovely!

Always switching elevators is a bit tedious and the they can be slow.

It is a shame that kids under 18 cannot use the swimming pools.

Pros: INCREDIBLE SERVICE-WOW the hospitality was off the charts Great location Safe neighborhood Easy access to Uber Beautiful hotel and rooms Black out shades were a GAME CHANGER for sleep! Gym access was great, but it was filled with "influencer" gym goers-if you hate influencers, don't go to the gym. INCREDIBLE ROOM SERVICE Impeccable housekeeping The hotel is located in West Midtown, and we felt it was a good base location for sight seeing all over Manhattan. The Vessel is on the same property, which was cool! My husband took Blade helicopter from JFK to the West Manhattan helipad, which was only a couple blocks from the hotel, and he got $50 off using the Equinox discount code. Tip: We didn't realize JFK is the furthest airport from the hotel, and I would recommend flying into Newark airport to stay here.

Cons: SO EXPENSIVE. This is NOT a budget friendly hotel. (To be fair, NYC is not a budget friendly city either lol) When I booked the room, another 1200 or so was added in NYC taxes, which I thought had already been included in the total. Room service was SO EXPENSIVE. Each meal was $120+ (but it was delicious, and delivered within 30 minutes!!) DO NOT stay here if you are concerned about budget AT ALL. Bed is on the hard side. If you prefer a soft bed, this is not the bed for you. Do not even try the mini bar food. It's all super health conscious, and once you open it, you have to pay for it even if it was disgusting and you threw it away (hahaha)

Absolutely stunning hotel with lovely facilities. The hotel were kind enough to upgrade us when we arrived so we had a suite for the week. Beautiful room / bathroom with a breath taking view. BIG thank you to housekeeping, they came twice a day and couldn’t do enough for us!

Beware room service is extremely expensive as they add on a surcharge (and the food is already pricey, a smoothie would be $30). if they hadn’t of added the additional charges I probably would have ordered.

The energy in the hotel and neighborhood. Great room and view... the hotel starts on the 25th floor! They still had covid restrictions and you have to show your proof of vaccinations. But even so, it was comforting to know that everyone in the hotel was vaccinated.

There was very little we did not like. The hotel can't help that it was a beautiful sunny day and there was no place to sit at the outdoor pool and no place to swim in the indoor pool do to swimmers using the all the lanes.

This is a 'first class' hotel. Spacious rooms with luxury finishings, several lighting selections, comfortable beds. Our room had a great view over the Hudson. The view is also great from the lounges and the outdoor pool. The hotel is very clean.

To reach the room you need to make the first stop at the concierge on the 25th floor then switch elevator to reach out your floor. That makes no sense at all.
