The rooms were a nice size and so was the lounge. The staff were also friendly.

But the refrigerator was not working. Which spoiled my food I brought. You should have the workers make sure the the appliances are working when transitioning the room for the next person. Also there were plumbing issues. The water in the sinks and the tub would rise quickly which is not ideal for self care and maintaining hygiene. The sliding doors were not functioning right. They were off the slider so I kept having to pop it back on the track. Lastly if there is a kitchen then there should at least be dish soap to wash the dishes.

We got a king size studio room. Loved the space. It was a great setup especially for a family to stay in. The couch and the tv were an added bonus. The kitchen was also well stocked with pots and pans. My mom was happy she could cook some home cooked meals.

I didn't like that we paid extra for cleaning and they didn't do a great job of cleaning. They should have restocked toilet paper and kitchen supplies like coffee and tea. But they didn't. When we complained the staff told us to get these things from the utilities closet. I paid a lot to have cleaning done so I expect better service

Spacious, comfortable, and well equipped apartment. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed for 7 days. The beds were comfortable- including the sofa bed. It was quiet at night. The showers were good. We were a bit worried about staying way down in the FiDi but it turned out well. The Fulton Street subway is a 5-minute walk away, so getting anywhere is easy and convenient. There is a small grocery store a short distance away in Pine Street, and the 'Tin Building' on the waterfront does good food and coffee (open 10am - 10pm). ''Stout' - a bar 2 doors up on John Street is highly recommended after a full day of sightseeing. The Sonder staff were helpful and very friendly. We didn't use the 2nd floor lounge, but it looked like a great chillout space. This apartment worked well for our family (2 parents and 2 older teenagers).

Not being able to adjust the building air conditioning, which was noisy and too warm in the 2nd bedroom and non-existent in the bathroom. And while not a big deal, having some laundry facilities on site or nearby would be helpful.

It was exceptionally spacious and very well equipped with everything we needed. The layout allowed everyone their privacy. We used just the two bedrooms, one with an en suite bathroom, the other close to the main bathroom, which was also accessible from the sitting room/kitchen. The location was perfect - away from the bustle but very well connected to the subway. We felt very safe. In this part of the city lots of the streets are quite narrow and we found drivers and cyclists extremely careful. Amidst the extraordinary lower Manhattan architecture, lots was accessible within a short walk: the East River, Brooklyn Bridge, the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, the island ferries, including the free Staten Island ferry. Enough ok restaurants nearby and places to buy groceries just across the road. All the basics (tea, coffee, sugar, kitchen roll, soap, shampoo, etc) can be topped up on a self-serve basis. Tea and coffee were pretty good quality too.

The hallways were a little gloomy but once we got onto our room the feel was completely different. Although the beds were comfortable we found the pillows very soft and the sheets and bed cover had a mind of their own. But these are minor reservations. We would certainly go back with any hesitation.

I cooked breakfast for myself and young daughter most mornings because we had our own equipped kitchen, which was great. There was also a nice Supermarket (the Jubilee) with a good supply of beers and fresh produce which was about 3 minutes walk away (not the WholeFoodStore, which was 4 blocks away). The bed and sofa were comfortable and the apartment was clean. The location was fabulous for entertainment very close by e.g. restaurants, boat trips, Music festivals, walks over Brooklyn or Wellington Bridges, cinema or just a walk along the harbour🙂. There are also subways very close by that take you to almost all destinations in Manhattan and beyond.

Our apartment had a faulty kettle (which leaked water everywhere), however this was immediately replaced when the Complex staff was notified. The Fridge kept turning off causing food to spoil and the Air conditioning was extremely noisy that I had to turn them off, especially at night and leave the window open instead (we were on the 14th Floor).

Great to have this Appartement in New York, it was very comfortable. Everything was clean.

The pictures are absolutely not showing the current status of the rooms. In real everything is bit worn, not so new anymore. I would say this is ok but I expected different because of the pictures

The location and size of the apartment was perfect for us. We also liked the app used for customer service.

The first night we came the apartment was not cleaned at all. There was dust on the floors, food scraps in the sink, shower curtains missing, no bed sheets or anything, no towels. Basically it would have been impossible to sleep there. And after arriving there late at night it wasn’t pleasant to arrive to such a sight. We got another room to sleep the night at and arrived at the morning to a cleaned room.

Great location and felt like a great overall place to stay. Close to Fulton St metro station which provides easy access all over Manhattan. Nice neighbourhood. Very useful Sonder app with a chat function. Helpful staff when needed. Surprisingly spacious (for a place in manhattan). Provided a great base for our week long stay.

For some reason the rooms didn’t have proper lights, only lamps. This made the place feel a bit darker than it needed to. Maybe just more lamps to brighten it up would be helpful. We also had an aircon/heating unit break during our stay, but they were impressively quick in getting a technician up to fix the machine. On our last night we also noticed one of the windows in the main room leaking quite a lot because of the angle of some (heavy) rain. But we just put some towels by the window edge and it was fine. Of course, these were very minor things. Overall it’s a terrific place to stay and I would highly recommend - especially to a family with a few young kids.

Location was good, Staff good, Id like to make a special comment for one of the Staff- Kevan ( I hope this is how it is spelt ) He was very helpful when we checked in and also a couple of days later he was very helpful in attending our room to fix a TV issue

The construction next door was very noisy and disruptive, although I do understand that this is temporary and unavoidable

Bathroom was not great. Could do with fixing up cabinets and maybe providing a few hooks to hang towels etc. a few shelves also would be good
