We loved the decor in the lobby and elevator. We loved the view of the city. The staff was great and we enjoyed sitting at the bar at happy hour (would have been even better if the fries were half price at happy hour). We really enjoyed the food at the bar, the burgers, grilled cheese and fries were amazing. Breakfast was good. We liked the cleanliness and location.

Communication of services could have been better, either at front desk or tv in room, for example we didn't know what to use for ice or where it was located, we didn't realize the hooks in peg wall pulled out for use or what was happening in the conference room at night. We didn't know about the 'Stash' closet until we were checking out. We appreciated free coffee but 2 out of 3 of us are tea drinkers so it was painful paying $6 per each tea bag/hot water, each morning. One of us went without because price was too 'steep'.

1st let’s start with the Staff… They were great! Especially the young man that checked me in. The staff were friendly on the phone when I told them about my late checkin due to a flight delay, and not to mention the location was absolutely perfect. It’s accessible to highways and shops, the city view room was great, and last but not least the on-site gym facility was very convenient. I’m originally from Brooklyn but this hotel gave me a little bit of a Miami vacation feel.

What we absolutely despised was that there wasn’t a microwave or refrigerator in the room. For a $800+ 2 ngt stay I thought there would have at least been a microwave or mini fridge to place my food and drinks in. And the room was very small. Besides that I would probably stay here again.

Great location in Williamsburg, lots of fab restaurants nearby and conveninent to get into Manhattan. Room had the facilities we needed, but classic NYC it's on the small side, still perfectly adequate for our two night stay.

Sound proofing, we read the reviews about the bar on the top floor, thankfully we didn't hear that, but soundproofing to the hallway and adjacent rooms was pretty non-existent. Destination fee was fine - we redeemed it against breakfast, but couldn't you just include breakfast as an alternative? It seemed like an extra step and/or upselling.

The Moxy is a very cool place! Fabulous art! Super clean rooms and fun atmosphere. Great on site restaurant! Excellent location and gorgeous design and great staff.

The rooms are tiny! Hard to move around with luggage & getting dressed. Also the nightclub in residence there is SO loud at night….with the boom boom boom of the dance music that we couldn’t sleep until after well after 2:00 AM. Consider asking for a room away from the Club side of the hotel.

The location is great, tons of cheaper food places with a younger crowd, which made it feel very down to earth. The showers and beds are great, free water bottles in the morning and breakfast bars really helped as we went out for long days traveling around NY. Its prefect for a more formal hotel that can just act as a relaxing home base to keep your bags and sleep on long days. I think with pros and cons considered its probably best as a couple or friend group hotel hotel, familys would be fine, but with the average age being young adult in the location and the general decor I think familys with kids might not find it as appealing.

- No fridge in the room was disapointing, not a deal breaker, but a slight annoyance. - The L or M train is the main line here, both are great and but it does make getting to some locations a bit of a chore, specificly Coney Island. Not the hotels fault obviously but somthing worth considering if the island is on your list of sites to see. Manhatten is very accsessable from the Moxy though. - The price I think is okay, but could have been a little cheaper.

The Moxy is a comfortable and stylish hotel in a perfect location. I recommend it highly. I arrived after a long flight and Stephanie put a smile on my face with her friendliness and helpfulness. She and Annie and the bar staff, whose names I didn't catch, were always professional and courteous and made me feel welcome. The hotel is beautifully designed, including the bar and the room I stayed in. The gym met my expectations, based on the photos. I also hadn't known about the $25 per day credit included in the price I paid - perhaps I should have known, I assume it was spelt out somewhere - so this was a nice surprise. NB that amount is enough for one cocktail or for breakfast (juice, coffee, oatmeal came to almost the whole $25).

The breakfast was ok, but some more options, esp healthy options, would be appreciated e.g. yoghurt, granola, more fruit choices (note: the choices are pastries, muffins, boxes of oatmeal).

The mattress was very comfortable. They have a storage room in the hall with towels and other amenities you might need during your stay. There is no need to ask; you can grab what you need. Very nice rooftop bar, with great views of Manhattan. The hotel is located a few minutes from Domino Park, which offers great views of Manhattan and is a great place for a morning or sunset walk. Two subway stations are nearby, making it easy to reach Manhattan by public transportation.

Not enough information at the check-in (e.g., we were not informed that a security deposit would be charged to our credit, although we asked about it). The room size was okay for NYC standards, but to open the suitcase, we needed to block access to the bathroom and the entrance to the room. On the weekends, it can be loud with the music in the rooftop bar- join the party or be very tired and fall asleep right away!

The rooftop terrace is AMAZING and surprisingly not crowded at all. The lobby bar area is nice. The room has a perfect size with a big shower and a separate restroom. And a very comfortable bed. Everything is designed really well. The trained staff is very nice and helpful. The food is great as well.

The access to the rooftop is not going thru the regular guest elevator, which is a bit weird. Also there should be 3 nice cocktail options without alcohol. Some of the staff seemes a bit untrained and sloppy. The room temperature is set fixed and cannot be adjusted.

I prepared myself for how small the room would be, and to be honest, it actually was a great size. Not only was there room to move around and comfortably settle in for 5 days, but the way the room was designed made it easy to put clothes away/store your luggage. Overall I loved the space. Modern, clean, well-appointed. One of the better Moxy hotels I have stayed in! We also loved the bar credits we got, as the bar they have downstairs is really nice to sit at. The big plus was the bar staff, as they were always so nice, fun and helpful. It really made our stay. Location is also perfect. You're close to so much in Brooklyn/the neighborhood and the subway is closeby.

Only thing was that we didn't get to check out the rooftop at night because there were events. But, that's really not a deal-breaker — I would just say keep that in mind if you're booking during the busy summer/wedding season.
