- The view is stunning (City view room) it was great walking up every morning or during the night and seeing the city lights across the river. - The location was excellent and easy to get in and out of the city on the L train (Bedford Avenue) which is two streets away. Williamsburg is a great area, fun, hipster with many great bars and eateries around. - The room itself is a little small but it suited our needs perfectly as we didn’t spend much time there, just morning and then a quick pass by in the evening to change into dinner clothes. - The shower was wonderful, easy to use and didn’t run out of hot water at all. - Comfortable bed, had a great nights sleep with blackout blinds in the room (but who’d want to shut the curtains with a view like that). - Lobby is beautiful and the coffee at Kfar was excellent. It felt like a real New York adventure. (Leon’s Bagels for a smoked salmon (Lox) and smear (cream cheese) or B.E.C (Bacon, Egg n Cheese) and 7th Street Burger for an excellent smash burger, both really close by. Antidote for a perfect Chinese meal and The Woods on a Wednesday for my fellow WLW gang)

These are just little critiques that the hotel can possibly use as feedback. Overall we enjoyed our stay and like the Hoxton hotels. - Unfortunately the hotel does not reserve any spaces on the roof for guests and as such we didn’t get to experience the roof. Policy for getting to the roof seems unclear, we attempted three times to visit the roof, one instance being a Sunday and it being fairly quiet but still no space. Couldn’t stand at the bar for a drink either. - Room cleaning is on request, I asked for the room to be cleaned twice. Bedding was changed and towels replaced (however the new towels were dirty with what appeared to be mascara or makeup left on them). Could have done with a little hoover / wipe down of the sink area which I ended up doing myself.

Loved the location so close to everything in the local area, the train to manhattan was 5 minutes walk. The lobby was a vibe lots of plants and earthy tones!! In the evening they dimmed the lights and put candles out so it was so chilled. The room was cosy plenty room for myself and the bed was so comfortable! The view was lovely the manhattan skyline is just amazing to look at during sunrise and even more vivid at night.

The lobby would be full of people on their laptops so it didn't feel like it was just for the hotel guests. The shower would flood the bathroom floor not a big thing but something that needs seeing to.

Check in experience - attentive. Sydney checked us in and made us feel welcome. It was my husband’s 60th birthday week celebration. She gave my husband complimentary goodies which made him very happy. Throughout our week-long stay, front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. Very comfortable bed, strong water pressure, from my room I have the view of the street and Manhattan and the river, the room has an electric kettle, the coffee they provide was very good, they provide both herbal and green tea, they have a water station on every floor, the bakery downstairs makes very good matcha and the sweet and savory pastries were excellent, location was excellent, I can walk to the park/water in 5 minutes

This is just reality but be prepared for a small room. No separate area for hanging your clothes. Feels tight even for only two people. You get two big drawers which are part of the bed for storing your clothes. Water always spills out of the bathroom, but I can deal with this in exchange for strong water pressure.

Location, design, restaurants, view

Staff - not trained in what hospitality means; level of cleanliness - so much dust and no service during our stay; the bar and coffee area are practically a free WeWork space for the whole neighbourhood, so as a hotel guest you don’t easily find a table

The location was amazing, great cafes and restaurants around, very hip and cool neighbourhood and very close to the metro station. The neighbourhood was a breath of fresh air after coming from Manhattan :) The hotel's design is also great, the room itself also has a beautiful interior design. The bed was very comfortable and the amenities, like the air steamer in the room were very good. We had the Manhattan view from our room and it was 1000% worth it waking up and going to be to it. All in all we had an amazing time at this hotel <3

I find the fact that there is no hotel lobby and no lounge area not so nice because there were many times when we would have loved to lounge a bit in the hotel. There is a cafe and bar instead of the hotel lobby and it was always 80% full of people from outside the hotel working on their laptops and using the space for this:( I did not like the lack of attention to details of the cleaning person because most of the days she/he forgot to put coffee or tea in our room and we had to ask for it. Also it is very annoying to ask every time you want your room cleaned, especially that we stayed 20 days in the room and we had to ask this every day.

The room and ammenities met my expectations as the property is highly recommended by my niece who has stayed there often.

I had requested a fragrance free room but upon arrival that was not the case. The FOH staff said they had not received the message and kept reminding me I had booked through a third party. I waited 1.5 hours for the "allergy free" room. Also, as a third party booking i was not permitted a late check out, this is for direct bookings only. The Hoxton FOH team use the term "third party booking" with a tone and a shrug. Lesson learned. I won't stay there again.

The room was cosy and comfortable with a lovely view. It is small but has clever storage solutions. We loved the location, close to the subway, cafes and Williamsburg bridge. A quiet en peaceful corner, but close enough to the hustle and bustle. Nice food from the cafe and we had a great meal at Laser Wolf ( be sure to to book in advance!) Feel free to ask for more water and coffee if needed.

We arrived late at night and struggled to get in. Luckily some of the restaurant staff spotted us and helped us to get in. Reception is efficient but not very friendly.

location is perfect for us, close to public transport. staff are very helpful and friendly. I love that it is dog friendly. Having access to Laser Wolf restaurant is super awesome-great food and views! And they work with hotel stayers to get a reasonable reservation time (before 10pm).

I wish the rooms were a little bigger and the view was better. I was disappointed with Booking.com because the site said I was given a room upgrade, but it was the same type of room as last year- overlooking construction with no obvious upgrade provided. I did attempt to communicate with the property through Booking.com site, but never heard back, so I did not bring my dog.

Really great location, right in the centre of Williamsburg. Short walk from the subway to get to Manhattan. Room was surprisingly roomy and beds were super comfy. Lovely decor. Staff was really friendly and helpful.

The only thing to note is that a lot of non-guests seem to use the lobby area / cafe for working so we sometimes struggled to get a seat because it was so busy. Also it would be good to have breakfast option included in the stay. It would also be good for the restaurant upstairs to reserve a couple of tables for guests.

Location was great. Easy to get the Subway (L line) and also a short walk from the North Williamsburg Ferry port which was a fab way to travel over to Manhatten and is very easy to buy tickets through the NYFerry app. We also loved all the great bars and restaurants in the area and highly recommend a trip to Brooklyn Brewery which is 2 blocks away. Bed was nice and big and super comfy and we like the inclusion of books and a Bluetooth speaker in the room. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. We had a Brooklyn View room and i have attached a picture of the sunrise from this room which was on the 8th floor.
