Good location, environment friendly.

Parking instructions weren't clear. My recommendations for visitors to voco Times Square South New York by IHG are as follows: 1- If you have a car; book your room and include parking. 2- When you go to a park at the designated location for the first time, the parking providers will provide you with a ticket, take this ticket to the Hotel lobby and have them put a yellow sticker at the back of the parking ticket. 3- repeat every time you bring the car in and out.

The location of the hotel is easy and convenient to stay at if you are planning to be downtown most of the time. The staff when I was checking in was really friendly and helpful, and even the housekeeping as well.

The room is pretty tight for a king size room because it's the same size if you book a standard room. There's barely any space to move if you have luggages with you or your friends. The days we were staying at there's only 1 elevator working for the entire building which is kind of hassle. There was a mandatory amenity fee of $25 you have to pay every night you stay which they will tell you when you checked in. We have a breakfast included but later found out it was a "to go" kind of breakfast The girl who checked us out didn't even bother to ask how was our stay, just printed my invoice and then that's it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Voco Time square IHG hotel, located just 10 minutes away from the iconic Times Square. From the moment I arrived, the service was nothing short of exceptional. The staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and eager to ensure every aspect of my stay was seamless. Whether it was concierge recommendations, efficient check-in, or thoughtful touches throughout my visit, their commitment to hospitality was truly commendable. The hotel's location is one of its strongest assets. Situated in the heart of Manhattan, it offers unparalleled convenience for exploring the city. Major attractions like Broadway theaters, Rockefeller Center, and Fifth Avenue shopping are all within walking distance, making it the perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers. Despite being in such a bustling area, my room was a tranquil retreat, well-appointed with modern amenities and plush comforts. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refined and comfortable stay in Times Square.

Small rooms, limited amenities

Everything was good and we were very please with our visit in New York. It says that breakfast is included, which it is, but it is NOT european continental standard. You need to order one of the selections from the menu. So if you are hungry person that might be too little. Standard room were a bit small.

Location was perfect and room were clean.

The location is excellent. You are just around the corner from Penn Station so getting to and from the hotel and around New York is very easy. You are close walking distance to Times Square and Broadway. The rooms (although very tight for a twin double) were clean & tidy with ample charging points (USB etc). Staff were nice to deal with generally and check in was quite quick. There was a good selection for breakfast in the morning and the food was actually pretty good too.

The rooms are quite tight for the cost of what you are paying but I think you are paying for the location more than anything. Beds are quite soft which is very subjective of course.

Absolutely amazing hotel! Fabulous position, lovely clean and quiet room, super friendly and flexible staff, breakfast was incredible and with many savoury and sweet options freshly made on demand. Rooms were made every day, the restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices to be in the centre of Manhattan. Little additions such as the free bottle of water, the free cocktails upon arrival, the popcorn in the afternoon, a little shop with sandwiches and drinks in case of emergency made also a difference. But overall all the staff was always smiling and willing to help. The atmosphere was so relaxing that we also enjoyed quiet evenings when we remained at the hotel! You really made our stay in NY so enjoyable, thank you so so much! We will absolutely come back on our next trip and recommend VOCO to all our friends who will come to NY!

I liked that it was central and close to main attractions. Easy access to subway. The staff were absolutely excellent and did their best to help out. Special mention to Elena and Cristian. They always welcomed us every morning and took care of us, particularly my son who suffers from allergies. People like Elena and Cristian are what make hotels great so once again, thank you. In general, the whole experience was perfect for our first visit to New York!

Nothing really, served all our requirements.

You are close to the subway - penn station is just down the road.

I would like to say everything was great but I always read reviews before I book and I want to be honest. This is a sketchy location if you are travelling with families - we have seen people literally injecting themselves just outside the door. Also do not book the airport shuttle overpriced an uber much cheaper. For NYC the rooms are to be expected but so small. The lift is also an issue.

I walked everywhere from this location. So central. Could fill up.water.bottle in the foyer which really helped avoid paying ridiculous prices for bottles when out and about. Staff were friendly. Great atmosphere in the lobby.

The price..but it is new York and comparable to other hotels. The shuttle to the airport is way too expensive. So much cheaper to walk 10 minutes and grab the uber airport shuttle. Some sketchy homeless a few doors down from the hotel. The bed was awful. There is zero sound proofing, be prepared to hear sirens all night. Just bring earplugs. The AC is soooo loud.

The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. They give you a welcome drink and $10 dinner credit. Most of the staff were warm and communicated well by the Booking app. Breakfast options were great. The price was also very competitive (I extended my stay per night and it seemed to be cheaper than booking the whole trip at once).

I had left my luggage in the storage room and when I got back I asked for help from the staff there to bring it to my Lyft. He brought my luggage near the back of the car and then left without helping to load the luggage at all! It was the first time ever I experienced this at a hotel.
