This was my second stay at NY Moore so there were no surprises. And, that's what I appreciated. I knew the kind of service and experience to expect. When I flew in early for my interview the next day, I knew I could count on the great folks working at the desk to accommodate me - and they did. I was able to store my things when I arrived early and go get something to eat. By the time I got back, I was allowed to check-in a little earlier.

When the L was being serviced, which I understand it does, being that far out makes traveling by public transit a little trickier.

There was free coffee, a beautiful lounge with a small library of a vast assortment of books, and beautiful murals and street art decorating the interior and exterior of the building,

One particular staff member was slightly rude and condescending. The rest were friendly. The beds weren't the comfiest and I had a snoring roommate - but that's the risk one must accept when staying at a hostel.

Rooms & Shower Definitely Could Use Cleaning. Like The Floors In The Room Can Be Swept , Shower Should Be Throughly Cleaned. No one Wants To Get Anything Behind Anyone So , Should Be Very Serious About Sanitizing The Areas

I love the location. Very close to Manhattan, like a 5 minute walk to the subway - Montrose Av. Also the graffiti walls are exceptional, strangely it makes you feel at home and safe. They offer free water, hot and cold. They have coffee or tea. There is a small kitchen and a fridge, i believe. The staff is great, helpful and they work 24/7. The lobby is very cozy, great for some takeout dinner. The room, at least the one i've stayed in, was very clean, the beds were comfy and the bathroom was probably better than in most cheap hotels. My first hostel ever and i seriously can't complain about anything!

The only thing that bothered me was that you have to bring your own lock or you have to buy it for a few bucks at the reception if you want to put your stuff in a locker. BUT they offer free luggage room for you suitcases or bags, so it's basically perfect.

Very clean hostel, all facilities available, friendly staff except one ( with long beard and always wearing a cup please try to not use your phone once a guest talking to you it's disrespectful 😉) all other staff are very helpful i forget the name ( one white boy with long hair who did for me check in was very helpful and professional) Room are good enough and spacious for 4 persons Kitchen very clean , gaming room good , all facilities are perfect for my 7 days saty in new York , location is fine 45 minutes by train to reach time square

The rooms were spacious, the common areas such as the game room and lounge in the first floor were really nice! They offer free drinking water and coffee which is a plus, and the staff were friendly :)

Awesome location, very close to Bushwick. My room waa well furnished with a comfortable bed, and a clean bathroom. Easy check-in and out, you can even leave your luggage for free after checking out. There's a big, welcoming living room, a big kitchen and as well as a working space!

Honestly, everything was great. Only thing that could have been a bit cleaner were the floors in the bedroom.
