Perfect location in a great part of NYC. Easy access to subways and other facilities. The Marcy av subway station and surrounding area felt slightly sketchy at times (although we have not experienced any problems per se), but other than upon our arrival from JFK Airport we opted for Bedford av station as our point of departure into Manhattan, which was an easy sub-10-mins stroll through the area even at night. Would definitely stay here again. Also, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful!

One of the two elevators went out of service during our stay and didn't get fixed during our remaining two days there, which was a bit of a hassle in an obviously well-occupied hotel. But in all fairness this was likely due to factors outside the hotel's direct control.

Room was spotless. Staff did a fantastic job Bed was so comfortable

The noise. Staff said “ welcome to New York’! But the noose was mainly from other guests in the hallways and stairwells and near lifts. Sometimes until after 3 am. Staff were generally way more casual and less eager to help than other hotels Other guests would sit in the cafe with their phone on speaker or on a zoom call. Same in the gym. Very annoying The location didn’t work well for us as we needed to navigate the subway for 2 trains in And out of the island everyday. There’s many non accessible stations ( consider that if you have luggage or need an elevator). Area is grungy

Breakfast was okay. Just yogurt, muffins, coffee, juice and water. Oh, and some granola bars. Nothing special, but nice to have as an option. The location of the Moxy in Williamsburg is excellent. Lots of great options for restaurants, coffee shops, parks, etc. Domino Park is outstanding and VERY close. McCarren Park is a little farther, but also close enough for an easy walk. The hotel is also very close to two subway lines--the L (Bedford Ave.) and the J/M/Z (Marcy Ave.) Both provide easy access to Manhattan (one stop away!) or further into Brooklyn.

There was nothing I didn't like about my stay at the Moxy. It does seem to be a hot night spot, with lines outside to get into one of the clubs in the hotel. I heard no noise at night from this, but some people might not be comfortable with this. It was absolutely a non-issue for myself and the people with whom I was traveling.

Great vibe in vibrant, edgy Brooklyn. Suited our family of 4 adults for 1 night, at the end of our hols, before we flew home from JFK. Room: we already knew it would be tight - 1 night was enough, with 3 medium suitcases. We were literally climbing over each other - lol - but expected this. Whilst cleverly designed, expect zero privacy with shower opening into hallway. Great value at US$230. Amazing view of Manhattan skyline from rm 807. Noise: Not a prob & I am a light sleeper. Rooftop bar music stopped at 12am (Sun). The trains ran thru the night- white noise. Expect neighbours in the hallway late, tho. Breakfast: we were too late for the grab & go in the foyer. But enjoyed plenty of cafes at our doorstep. Decor: Loved the art work at reception & moody ambience at the bar with my $15 credit. The lift area had dark neon lighting with a bouncer, so nightclub (rooftop bar) vibes, which was misaligned with the sophistication of the rest of the place imo. Staff: too cool for school...efficient & transactional, not friendly like you'd expect in hospo. Get what you pay for ig & maybe part of that moody vibe. Great stay overall. TY!

Location, near a lot of places to eat and bars!!! The hotel staff was nice upon entry. The hotel is beautiful. The lobby was a great spot for my wife and me to relax before turning in for the night. Everything is within walking distance. The room was clean, mostly. But my wife and me always do another cleaning prior to touching or using items. Rooms are small as expected. I would say it’s good for a short stay like a weekend. There is a parking validation for one of the garages near by which fueled our decision to stay here as we drove here and parking was the number one concern with us. The garage is about a ten minute walk. The hotel does have a dedicated parking space in front of the entrance that is a drop off space. We didn’t know this, so we were pushing luggage through Williamsburg. (Lol) but when we checked out we were able to do a bag hold to retrieve the car. Overall, great stay. And will stay again.

Only stayed one night, was in town with my wife to attend New York Liberty season opener. You get a credit for staying that can be used for food or drinks within the hotel. I was charged, even though I had the credit. The first i called to get the matter resolved and the first person did nothing. I waited a week to see if the refund was issued. It wasn’t, but the second person I spoke to was very helpful and the refund was issued the next day. The roof top bar was not open so that was a bummer. We were looking forward to checking it out.

We loved the decor in the lobby and elevator. We loved the view of the city. The staff was great and we enjoyed sitting at the bar at happy hour (would have been even better if the fries were half price at happy hour). We really enjoyed the food at the bar, the burgers, grilled cheese and fries were amazing. Breakfast was good. We liked the cleanliness and location.

Communication of services could have been better, either at front desk or tv in room, for example we didn't know what to use for ice or where it was located, we didn't realize the hooks in peg wall pulled out for use or what was happening in the conference room at night. We didn't know about the 'Stash' closet until we were checking out. We appreciated free coffee but 2 out of 3 of us are tea drinkers so it was painful paying $6 per each tea bag/hot water, each morning. One of us went without because price was too 'steep'.

Great location! Cool hip vibes, very stylish people stay there.

Rooms are tinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnny! No hot water mid morning because everyone is taking a shower . But at night the water pressure and temperature is perfect! I HATE the required $25 daily charge that you can use at the bar or order food. It’s a use it or loose it type of thing. NO ONE FLYS INTO TOWN TO EAT AT THE HOTEL EVERYDAY! I did NOT let my daily charge of $25 go to waste and order drinks and food daily! I will admit the drinks and food are good! Location location location! Hip, cool, vibey neighborhoods of Williamsburg! Restaurants, vintage shop, Sephora. Cafes, markets, and trains! Stylish dogs and people all up and down the streets!

A fun, cute hotel with the front staff friendly and helpful. Nice lounge area on the first level to either meet friends, have a drink, or visit. The room was "cozy" and had little nooks for things. Loved that they had a steamer! The location worked out well, and as I had to drive, it was nice that the hotel had a parking agreement with a nearby garage.

The room was a little tight. It would have been helpful to have a map for the parking garage. It felt a little weird as it was hidden from the street a bit and luckily found my way back using a walking app.

1st let’s start with the Staff… They were great! Especially the young man that checked me in. The staff were friendly on the phone when I told them about my late checkin due to a flight delay, and not to mention the location was absolutely perfect. It’s accessible to highways and shops, the city view room was great, and last but not least the on-site gym facility was very convenient. I’m originally from Brooklyn but this hotel gave me a little bit of a Miami vacation feel.

What we absolutely despised was that there wasn’t a microwave or refrigerator in the room. For a $800+ 2 ngt stay I thought there would have at least been a microwave or mini fridge to place my food and drinks in. And the room was very small. Besides that I would probably stay here again.
