The location was very convenient...walking distance to shopping street, market. The hotel staffs were very helpful. Hotel room was really clean.and value for money.

When we first arrived we got an upgrade to a studio however the a/c was not working properly. The receptionist gave us a fan forcthe first night and the next morning we were moved to another room which was much better.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the coast, restaurants, and shops. The rooms are very nice, with comfortable beds, and even a small kitchen on the balcony. The staff is friendly, speaks English, and is always ready to help. Excellent breakfast – self-service with plenty of variety, including fresh fruit.

The hotel has a pleasant laid back feel to it, not too busy, not too quiet, a pleasant ambience overall. We were upgraded FoC (thank you St Pierre management), to a courtyard studio as, on the mountain side we had booked, there is now a building being built, so the view will need a new name! Two week stay, so having the facilities of a studio (fridge, two hob cooker, microwave) meant we could vary eating out with cooking local produce for the odd quiet night in. Room itself was as you’d expect at the price; shower excellent, bed comfy, linen good. Housekeeping was spot on, bar staff friendly, reception very professional (good English spoken), thank you team. So, it’s a thumbs up from us!

Chairs on the terrace could do with being a bit more comfy and cooking equipment a bit limited.

Good location in the town centre, walking distance to the beach and main shopping area, underground parking which was free was nice too. Large terrace with chairs and simple kitchen which was great for a snack or breakfast.

Nothing really - all good

I had a suite I think--booked because it was all that was available due to a once-a-year race starting the night I left. My room was a large space with a double bed, large closet, large bathroom. There were two outside areas: one with a table/chairs and two lounge chairs, and one with a kitchenette (small fridge, cooktop). The staff were nice and with my appalling french were very helpful answering my questions! The parking is gated and though a smidge tight, was easily navigated. There is construction going on next door, but they stopped work around 1630 so it was nice and quite when it needed to be! it's only a few blocks from the beach, near to shops, etc.

Vegetarian options at the restaurant were almost non-existent (but that's a problem with most French locations in general). And the rain showerhead needs to be de-mineralized so it has better flow, but it was still awesome and since there was an alterative showerhead, it wasn't a huge issue.

Modern and clean. Comfortable. Loved the room with the outdoor terrace and kitchen. Seemed much better than a 3star hotel. Helpful staff.

The pool was just for dipping not swimming

The swimming pool is very small.

Great spacious balcony. Good location, 5 mins walk to the beach. Free parking available, good base point for trips to Cilaos/Volcano
