Staying at Capricorn road house was exactly what I needed after my long drive, slowly returning home from living in the Pilbara. I felt so refreshed while being immersed in nature, surrounded by the beautiful trees and fresh air, it was so divine. I felt so relaxed and at total peace laying on my couch, with the door wide open and fresh breeze gently brushing over my face. I came as a solo traveler and stayed in one of the family cabins, it was so snug and I felt so safe and at home which says so much about the energy of this place being a solo female traveler. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I loved how natural and close to nature this place felt. I had the luxury of looking to the night sky and seeing it lit up by millions of stars, shining bright and the gentle sounds of the leaves rusting softly in the wind. I loved the hand painted signs on the bathrooms it added sound a wholesome, grounding touch and the bathrooms were beautifully fresh and clean. I will definitely be staying here again on my next stop through ~ thank you so much for creating such an incredible stay!

Park amenities amazingly clean. Nice map and directions to the cabin. Good parking space for vehicle.

Didn't actually realise that there was no ensuite in the cabin when I booked, but it didn't matter as I was very close to the park amenities. Security screens on windows would be good so that the windows could be safely left open during the night. I prefer not to use air conditioners if possible.

It was nice and spacious - the check in guy was friendly - it felt safe despite that the town did not - the trailer was nice and private-

The wifi was terrible- they only provided 1 low quality chux and one flimsy dish towel - the shower was miniature (I am a 5’7 woman and felt claustrophobic so couldn’t imagine being a big man) - and last problem was that the air-con heat did not work so my son woke up in the night freezing as I had him in a portacot in the main room (which they provided a little heater for). The next time we go we are staying somewhere different . It wasn’t terrible but not great either.

A lot of places like this provide the chalet and furniture but no bedding, plates, cups, anything else. I bought all my own incase, but was very impressed to see the bunkbeds and bed kitted out with comfy and cute doona and pillow sets, cups, plates, cooking utensils, toaster, kettle, electric frypan, electric portable stove, air conditioning, and even chairs out the front to sit on. There was a smart tv for the kids, and with 6 of in the chalet it still didn’t feel cramped due to the layout. the beds were comfy and the bedding was freshly cleaned. We arrived at 8.30pm due to car trouble and had our key, map and wifi password put in the lockbox with a code to access it txted to us, which made it easy once we arrived as the 4 kids were tired and ready to relax after a 10hr car ride. The pool was big and well maintained and the kids loved it. We had a power outage whilst cooking breakfast (our fault, there was an aircon, tv, stove, kettle and microwave going at the same time), and the staff had it sorted within 10mins.

I’m picking at straws but the showers and toilets could use updating as there was some broken areas and they weren’t the cleanest, but it was dirt coming in from outside, not mould or anything awful like that.

The cabin is very spacious. A small heating fan provided in the room help to wkeep the bedroom very warm in the night. I was overjoyed to find that there was a decent bowling green in the caravan park as I like to play lawn bowls. The food from the food truck was yummy and at a reasonable price.

Big room, 3 bath / bed/ lounge room, good aircon. could self cater. Map of camp ground provided at after hours check in with my cabin indicated - I saw no staff member - so that was very handy! Quiet location too.

Not much really - it was good all round.

Nice old school park. Friendly staff. Plenty of shade and roomy sites. Clean and quiet away from the town centre but close enough to supermarket and servos. Nice smallish pool to cool off in.

Perhaps a little bit dated but everything clean and functional.

great value for money. place is well looked after, clean, maintained, organised. friendly staff and great facilities, nice and clean pool, clean bbq and kitchen areas. nice recreational area too. we stayed at a family cabin, extremely clean and well maintained. nice kitchen and living room. good air con in the main bedroom and living room. overall would recommend and stay again.

The unit was clean and beds comfortable. Checkin Staff were amazing and extra helpful💕 they went above and beyond.

The ablution block needs a good scrub and some exit mould wouldn’t go astray.

For the town it’s a good safe place and it has what you need to have a safe night

The park is just not toddler friendly at all- there is no playground and the pool doesn’t even have a shallow end - I wouldn’t stay again with my child being 2
