Still the best hotel in Jutland. A comfortable, practical and quiet hotel in beautiful surroundings. Free parking. Fast wifi. Good beds. Nice bathrooms. Very nice spa area and indoor pool. Enjoy a fantastic breakfast and a fantastic view. Great choice for couples as well as families.

If the weather is hot you may want a room with a fridge. Nothing else to complain about. If you don't want to eat in the hotel (they have very good food), you should plan where to eat in advance. There are some good restaurants in Vejle. For pasta, try Toscana. For sushi, try Atami.

Wonderful location on the top of Munkebjerg hill (95m), surrounded by forest and with a nice view frrom the breakfast area and outdoor terraces, towards Vejle Fjord. I had a lovely superior room with balcony. The breakfast was really good. Great variety.

Nothing really. Despite the fact that some rooms may look like something from the 70,s or 80,s, it just have this cozy feel to it. It would have been nice with a nespresso machine , instead of the classic tea- and coffee facilities!. It IS however a 4 star hotel.

It's impossible not to relax in this hotel. It's a hidden gem in the wood next to Vejle fjord. Best place you can find in Jutland. The breakfast is out of this world. The dinner buffet is also good. The staff is friendly, the beds are comfy and the spa is great. Parking is free and wifi is OK. The view of the fjord is magic. Good value for money.

I had to leave. We will come back next year (if not sooner). I hope that Munkebjerg Hotel keeps up the good work, keeps its fantastic restaurant the way it is and keeps its moderate prices. See you again.

The breakfast was very good, so much variety and good quality food. The same goes to the bar where we had dinner and special thanks to the staff member there Kenneth who was very friendly and attentive to us.

Although rooms very good and clean they looked outdated. My mattress was not comfortable

The place, the decorations, the food.

Five minutes passed the checkout time, while I was trying to get my suitcases and children all together to go downstairs, they called me to tell me in a very aggressive manner that it was past the checkout time. Maybe it is just cultural, but I had never had such a call in a hotel. It was a pity, because I left with a bad taste after a wonderful stay.

Really good breakfast, beautiful building and milieu, nice pool area, the kids loved the pool although it was quite simple. The place itself is worth seeing.

The room was quite small. The ventilation was poor and there was no air conditioner, hence the room was quite hot at night. I would have also expected a minibar in the room, but there wasn't.

The setting in the forest with wonderful fjord views is immediately very relaxing. Great amenities like swimming pool, krolf and tennis court. Very good breakfast. The style and elegance of the hotel. Nice refreshing water on offer as soon as you enter the hotel.

I liked everything. Staff genuinely friendly and smiling in all areas. A special reference to Anna in the reception who was so helpful and willing to answer eloquently our questions. Breakfast of good quality and variety. Location excellent if you want to enjoy nature. View to the sea fantastic. Cleaning personnel professional and friendly. Great surroundings. Very good quality of dinner to the restaurant. I would like to come again.

Provide bicycles for visitors especially for the ones that come from abroad.

Very nice hotel located in the woods outside of the city... Big clean room, comfy bed, friendly staff, large private parking lot, good selection for the breakfast...

Heavy smell of the chlorine in the corridors near the room... messages from the hotel in Danish language only...

The hotal has an amazing architecture from the 70s I guess. So many great details in it. The dinner was also fantastic. I had Gravad Lax and they prepared it at the dish. Truely fabulous.

The rooms are quite small and outdated, but that is to be expected in an 70s hotel.
