The location is stunning. The island is beautiful and the grounds are stunning. The buildings are beautiful and spacious and it's lovely to have a tub! The people here are very nice and the food is delicious. it's super great to have breakfast included and to have a ride to and from the boat-- walking the stretch through the hot sand that everyone else has to looks miserable with bags. The pool is huge and it's amazing to have the pool!

It's difficult to communicate and arrange things here. There are a few people who speak English enough to arrange tours or figure out travel/boat times, etc, and if they're around it's great, but if they're not you need patience. We stayed in a villa and for the price, it was too hot. I have stayed in cheap bungalows and rooms in SEA and they have fans for when you're sleeping. This building is dark and in the sun all day and the ceiling fan is not enough. The room was in the 40s when I was trying to sleep and it wasn't ok. I didn't sleep at all. If they would just give you more fans it would be ok! For the price it makes no sense. They have fans in the restaurant and main building that isn't for guests...

A small gem in Koh Trong island! The rooms are absolutely beautiful! The view on the bamboos from the window is very relaxing. You can hear the birds chanting. The gardens are very well taken care of given the size of the property! Definitely recommend this place for couples looking for a some luxury experience on the Mekong.

Given the strong efforts from the rest of the island to reduce waste, and the high standards of the rooms, I was quite disappointed to see that the resort doesn’t put refillable glass bottles in the rooms, but instead provide plastic bottles. However I believe that this could be easily fixed since I already seen that they are using refillable shampoo and soap instead of single-use bottles! 👌 Given as well the strong emphasis to promote local products and handcrafts in their resort (which I really like, especially all the silk items!), I would love to see that the restaurant provide a locally produced infusions for breakfast instead of the industrial Lipton tea.

A very special place with great traditional wooden houses as rooms. Really loved the place. Something different and very well done. Tasteful, artful, very spacious and comfortable rooms. An atmosferic open restaurant with good food. Large pool. All in a beautiful setting on the quiet island in front of Kratie. A great place to stay!

Super quiet, thé location and place is amazing. The staff is super nice and helpful. The restaurant is very good and prices are within normal range for Cambodia.

The travel arranged from Kratie to Kampot should have been clearer as we ended up using a shared taxi with 10 other people and a motorbike and a chicken : it was fast but not so comfortable. It s ok but you have to be ready for this kind of experience.

A fabulous place to stay. Beautiful villas, quirky and charming. There is just a fan which is nice for a change, as long as you don't move. We went in the rainy season and the pool was like a bath. The island itself was a gentle break from cities and temples. Magical!

beautiful resort and most amazing private huts! decor was amazing and a roll top bath! great for couples wanting to treat themselves. the island is unique as well and a must for off the beaten track with no cars and to cycle around for a real authentic Cambodian life feel. food was delicious and pool was great. one of our fave places on our trip! can’t wait to come back!

Fascinating place. The resort is on an island in the middle of the Mekong River and is set in a banana plantation. Accommodation is in a traditional Khmer dark wood bungalow with its own terrace - a unique experience and very comfortable. Very helpful and charming staff. Well worth a visit.

It is not a question that we didn't like it, but travellers should note that the resort is on an island. You have to carry your luggage down a steep flight of stairs, take the ferry (which can run when it wants to depending on passenger numbers), and then carry your luggage across the sand (albeit on boards) on the other side for about 150 metres (depending on water height). Motorbikes can assist with this. Then you need to find a tuk-tuk but the hotel will provide this if you warn them when you are coming. This is a novel experience and one well worth taking but it is not really for those of an infirm disposition. The swimming pool needs a dose of cold water.

It’s a little paradise, so relaxing to come here. The staff is very nice and helpful and the food is super good. The villas itself are very big and comfortable. The island itself is not so big but nice to do a bicycle tour around (about 10km), resort has bicycles you can borrow.

It’s a bit challenging to get to this place and you need to call the resort up front so they can arrange a motor (from the beach up the hill) and tuk tuk (about 5-10min drive) to get to the resort. My driver helped me do this so it worked out perfectly but it’s a good thing to know up front.

The restaurant and the bungalows are beautiful, they have an authentic character. The buildings are made from wood and the garden is full of plants and trees. We spotted many birds and butterflies. The pool is very large and the water is nice and warm. The owner is the most caring woman and helps you with everything you need: from a boat/ferry, to a bicycle, or a reservation for a kayak trip, you name it and she will make the call! They offer a few good, but simple, choices for breakfast and dinner (European & Asian).

There are many spiderwebs and spiders themselves of course, but this can be expected in wooden bungalows ;) There is not so much to see on the island itself. After one bike ride (around the island is about 10 km) you have seen it all.

Wonderful location and delicious food! - we had a lot of fun! Renting motorbikes to discover the island! Spending your time in the resort was Sonntag much more fun, then trying to watch the Mekong dolphins! Highly recommended!

Be on time to catch a ferry!
