It was very convenient having access to a communal kitchen & laundry ($2 a load). The kitchen was clean, tidy & well outfitted. The room was functional &, thankfully, there was a portable air conditioner in the room. The bathroom had been updated & was very clean.

It’s not that we didn’t like this feature. I simply think some people may prefer not to stay in room #24, as it is right next to the communal kitchen & there is a patio area immediately out front that guests can use. It could have been a bit noisy. But, the group that sat there & chatted were very low key & didn’t stay long.

The location is good being off the highway enough that it's quiet and close to gas and groceries and just a short walk into town. Typical motel room. Not fancy but everything you need. A little pricey for what it is.

There's a table and chairs outside that encourage folks to sit and have a drink and a chat. Great for them - not so great if you're in your room trying to rest. Voices travel easily across the parking lot.

The property is located within walking distance of the main street of Smithers and only takes 2 minutes to get there. The property has guest laundry facilities situated alongside a great looking kitchen with everything you will need if you want to self cater. Our bathroom had a walk in shower cubicle which was large, spacious and very welcome. There is plenty of on site easily accessible parking.

We are seniors so we travel on a budget. We wanted a basic room that was clean and comfortable.The motel was budget friendly, exceptionally clean and within walking distance to stores and restaurants. The room had some upgrades with comfortable beds and pillows and newer bedding. The staff was professional and courteous. It was very quiet and we enjoyed a great night’s sleep.

There were a few minor things that did not affect our stay. The carpet and bath tub could stand an upgrade and there was no blow dryer in the bathroom.

We chose it as it was pet friendly. The lady at the front desk did try to move us to the first floor upon request as I didn’t want my dog going up and down the stairs disturbing anyone but wasn’t able to accommodate.

Even with the windows closed, the road noise was very loud. The floors seemed dusty or gritty.

I love how friendly the front desk staff is everytime I stay here they let me do a late checkout so I can come back and take a shower after my triathlon before leaving for Kitimat. I love it about them so will keeping staying here everytime for my triathlon

There isn’t anything that I don’t like

Large room. Comfortable bed. Quiet location, though thin walls. Easy walk to stores and center of town. There is a well set up communal kitchen with seating.

Rather dated decor, but well maintained.

Clean room, nicely decorated and a very comfortable bed. Centrally located at a good price. The manager who checked me in was also very nice.

The tub finish is worn in the room I had but it was absolutely clean. And the rest of the bathroom did not show signs of wear.

It was perfect for or family. One of the best places we stayed between Seattle and Alaska! We had the queen suite, and the full sized kitchen was great.& we had plenty of room to spread out.
