The views from our private balcony

I suggest they leave in room an outline of rules e.g time pool is open, it was mentioned but we forgot etc, and also a pen / paper to note minor items that may need attention (that we could not be bothered with while we were there), eg toilet flush button always got stuck, minor water leak from shower screen, electric switch next to bed had a minor spark when turned on. Also would have like a movie channel and daily water refill given you can’t drink the water.

We cant speak highly enough of all the facility, the staff, the rooms were exceptionally clean, reception staff couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was wonderful, not overbearing with too much choice but something for pretty much everyone. All staff were diligent, happy, tidy and helpful. Food from the snack bar and at breakfast was fab quality. Rooms cleaned each day, beds made and fresh towels. Sunbeds are very comfy with hotel towels provided for during the day, nice places to sit in the shade if you prefer. An amazing place to stay, wonderful views, food and staff. Summarily ' we loved it and will be back' Thankyou and cant rate this highly enough.

Nothing to not like.. we will go back there and will recommend to anyone one thing to watch, for those that are a tad unstable or not too good with steps, there is a lot of steps leading to /from the facility and in the facility too, which goes with the territory on the Caldera side.

Agali Houses was amazing and I could not fault our stay. I dealt with Elena who is incredibly professional, helpful, kind and made us feel right at home. The accommodation was clean, newly renovated and in a perfect location overlooking the caldera. I would recommend adding the breakfast, the food is fantastic and the staff are fabulous for anything you need. Fira and Oia is beautiful also but far too busy with lots of tourists. Firastefani feels like how Santorini was 10 years ago. If you’re planning on staying, I would recommend booking airports transfers to and from, which Agali Houses can help you with at an additional cost that is very affordable and worth it. Please be mindful there are alot of stairs down to the accommodation, which you will find for all accomodation on the caldera. This is not a negative at all, just something to be mindful of. I could not fault the property

You’ve got a great view from your hotel room and the pool area of the caldron. Sunsets are amazing. The room is wonderful. There’s public parking lot across the street from the hotel. There’s about 40-50 steps down from the street to the hotel. You are a 20 minute walk to the main shopping area on Santorini. This hotel is centrally located, but outside of the busy shopping district of Fira, but close enough to get there quickly. The room has an amazing sunset and caldron view.

Everything was amazing.

I had been staying in Rm 127 which is perfect spot with Mediterranean Sea and caldera in front of room. Beautiful weather, peaceful sea with little breeze, blue sky with cotton cloud, white houses with perfect holiday mood. I could not expect any better place like this. The Agali house staff are so genuine and supportive and ready to give me help anytime i approach them. Very good convenient location. 15mins walk to Fira center, then bus to oia. This is the only place I would like to return back after have been travelling for about 50 days. Highly recommended. Several friends already said they would book same place.

Everything is perfect, beyond my expectations

The suite was very clean with a very pleasant and private terrace at the front. The view of the caldera was remarkable. Our room was at the lowest level of the hotel, which is built down the face of the cliff, so from street level you need to walk down (and up) about 50 meters. If you are good with some stairs, it is well worth it. The Fira to Oía walk passes right in front of the hotel entrance. We started from there and then took the bus from Oía back to Fira and picked up the trail starting near the station and ending back at Agali House. All done.

Absolutely beautiful views of the Caldera! The rooms are big and everything was clean. The property is well maintained. Breakfast was great! Vassiliki was truly the best! She was helpful in so many ways and helped make our stay easy and unforgettable! The hotel is very close to food and mini markets as well as the Fira-Oia trail- a must! The number of stairs getting on and off the property was a little taxing at times but we would definitely go back! Perfect stay!

Wow what a view! Great position & beautifully appointed luxuriously modern accomodation. We got a complimentary upgrade which included a huge private deck. It was an amazing place to relax and take in the gorgeous view. Lovely pool area also which has lounges with the view. Perhaps about 100 steps going down to hotel, however we organised transfer from them, so hotel staff met our transfer at road and carried our bags down. Also when we left, so it was made easy for us.

Nothing we disliked. But perhaps the pool was a little chilly. Was mid Sept tho.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, very professional and organized. Maria, Vasiliki and the porters were amazing! Location and view were unbeatable. Away from the noisy crowds but close to everything. Room was spacious and bed the most comfortable of 9 beds we slept on during our Europe trip. Facilities were beautiful, including the pool. Too bad we had no time to use it. All in all, a perfect place to prepare for our Santorini wedding and spend the first few days of our honeymoon!

With many stairs to reach the hotel, the way can sometimes be challenging. Something to consider if you have some physical limitations.

The property is beautiful. The people are great. The pool is great. Our room was comfy and clean with a private terrace with great views.

The STAIRS! There’s so many stairs! Just to get to the entrance of the hotel, there’s 81 stairs. To get to our room was another 74 stairs. Any time you want to go do something or go get something to eat there’s so many stairs! We had just done a huge hike on the last island we were on and doing the stairs 2-3 times a day sucked. Also breakfast was €18 for a standard breakfast, but there’s a great cafe where you can get really good breakfast for €20 right at the top of the stairs.
