This is such a surprise! I didn't expect much but it simply is a very nice place to stay whether for a night or even for a longer stay. It offers almost all the amenities one would expect from a quality hotel. We will certainly return when we visit again our friends from that area of Plaridel..

Everything was very good except that the so called double bed is too narrow for 2 persons. We were 3 adults and were assigned Room 5 that offers two double beds. I can't imagine a huge foreigner fitting on such bed if traveling with a spouse and children.

The location is a bit far from the main highway. Tho it is a good spot since it is quiet.

The room cleaning and room service is quite fast and efficient.

My comfort room has a rust smell on the water and the shower and bidet were too sharp. I think they have to change the shower head.

Quiet location! Hotel is pretty, clean and conveniently located near the centre of Plaridel, Bulacan which I often visit...

Check-in was a breeze. Because the rate offered free breakfast and we were due to check-out before the kitchen would open, there was a brief discussion about a take-away. They agreed, we extended our departure time for a bit and all was good. The bathroom had been freshly painted and had quite a bad odor that we feared would lead to headaches, but with aircon and windows opened it cleared out relatively quickly. While room was a bit small, we were travelling with few bags and the bed was perfect so no complaints there either (most lower-cost hotels we've encountered here have big area but spartan furnishings, so this was just fine). The hotel fronts a small (Plaridel) airport which I gather is no longer (or rarely) in use. Hence the name. Surprising quiet area.

The roads getting to the hotel were bumper-to-bumper, but this is typical of many town on a Saturday afternoon here in the Philippines. But once on the road the hotel is located on, the road seemed to clear out, traffic was minimal, and there was ample parking (so a positive result to a situation beyond the control of the owners). Though there was a cable box, we seemed to only receive CNN Philippines channel. It may be that there were more, but we were too tired and had an early start the next day so we didn't even bother to sort it out with reception. There was no soap in the room, but the receptionist rectified the situation immediately. The summary of this section would be that we really have NO NEGATIVE comments about our stay.

The Front Desk staff seemed not so interested in the arrival or when we asked questions.... maybe they were having a bad moment before we arrived.
