Spacious room, very tasty breakfast, parking available at site, nice swimming pool and sauna zone. Good location as a starting point of the trips to Nitra, Trnava or even Bratislava. Many interesting places in the nearby as well: Oponicky hrad, Gymes hrad and several others. Very nice and helpful staff at the hotel.

It's the real eyecatcher. The hotel property is beautiful and our room was stunning. We loved the decoration and the size was perfect for us too. We also visited the library which with its amazing interior and interesting story. We had dinner in the restaurant and the chef prepared a delicious meal for us outside of the menu as there were no vegan options included.

We would appreciate at least one vegan option on the menu in the restaurant and more fruits/vegetables in the breakfast room. Also there is no lift at the property which is not a problem itself as there are only two floors, but you have to carry your luggage to your room yourself.

Spacious, clean rooms. Nice restaurant, good food well presented, fine breakfast. Quiet.

It seems that the whole place needs a bit of a "face lift". The signs are that since the initial large reconstruction project and huge investment not much has happened. The award winning architecture is wonderful but needs day to to day, constant care.

Chateau Appony is located in beautiful park close to the forest with hiking or cycling possibilities. We enjoyed our stay, the service was very good, the food delicious and staff very helpful. The wellness is quite small but nice and clean and not crowded during our stay. We went to the restaurant for the dinner and the service and meals were extraordinary. No problem with parking in the hotel area.

The hotel is located close to the Hrad Oponice. The room was relatively large and very clean. The hotel restaurant serves dinner at a good price. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is not pricy.

There is no elevator, and I got a room on the third floor. The WiFi is weak and cannot support a zoom meeting.

Great staff! Very kind and helpful. The rooms were great! The restaurant is exceptionally good. Breakfast was perfect. Beautiful historic place. We were happy with the choice visit there and would definitely recommend to others.

The only problem was lac of AC. The staff were kind enough to change our room after the first night. I would suggest using a ceiling fan.

The beds, at least in our case, weren't super comfortable. Take also into account that, being a historical building, it does not have an elevator, and the rooms are distributed in three floors

The staff were really helpful and friendly. Plus could speak English. The room was really beautiful. Food was amazing. The spa facilities were really lovely and relaxing. Plus the building is beautiful, worth a visit to the library. We had a few issues but they sorted them out and upgraded us and treated us to other things. Great customer service.

We were there the same time a wedding was on, and therefore the ordering of food at dinner time was really slow. As the same staff were working the wedding and the restaurant. Shame as if this hadn't have happened it was have been an amazing stay.

Beautiful setting, breakfast was very good and varied. The restaurant for dinner was outstanding and the staff attentive and knowledgable. The hotel facilities are very good. The surrounding hikes made it even more appealing.

I love the atmosphere of the hotel, the meals served for dinner are exquisite, the breakfast choice is fabulous. I love the surrounding, the decor, the staff. Simply beautiful. If you are looking for a special place to stay not even 20 minutes drive from Nitra, do try this place - it is a very unique experience.
