We really enjoyed the peaceful vibe at the resort. The staff were super friendly and approachable, the food was excellent, and the view from our room was breathtaking. It was an overall fantastic and relaxing experience.

We saw some parts of the room that weren't as clean as we hoped, but it was okay, it was manageable. There were also ants in certain spots, which was a little bothersome, but considering it's a beach and nature spot, it's understandable.

The modern cottages are on two floors with 2 separately controllable air conditioners and a light-flooded bathroom with huge but secluded windows to the tropical garden. Standing height in the bathroom 9 meters (!) which ensures that moist air is safely extracted. The excellent and brand new mattresses correspond to French standards and are ultra-comfortable and invite you to linger. The location and view especially from Cottage Camia is breathtaking overlooking the waterstrait to Puerto Galera. A terrace with two loungers tempt you to rest in the garden and admire the huge mango tree and the 3 coconut palms. The lawn is well-kept and the fallen fruit is removed daily. My son spontaneously took part in a diving course at the resort and completed his 18m PADI Open Water Diver license within 5 days, which enables him to explore the world's most beautiful diving areas as an autonomous diver. Instructor Gaurav at the resort is truly a good educator and an exemplary person who tries to pass on his passion and enthusiasm to others. The food in the resort corresponds to 4 star level, has an international character and special requests are also catered for. The wine is good and affordable. Overall, the stay was super relaxing and corresponded exactly to our expectations. Casalay's team is incredibly friendly and experienced in tourism. We will come back for sure. I also recommend this resort to Central Europeans, especially the German-speaking countries, because their expectations are not only met, but exceeded. WiFi was at all locations perfect - i could even work with video-meetings one day with my computer. Kurt & Mila with children

The location was amazing, secluded and can only be accessed by boat. I loved that it is away from the rest of the other resorts but is still accesible, only 10 mins boat ride. Proper hot and cold water and resort facilities. villa was spacious and had all the necessities. Service was exceptional, all the staff were attentive. Reasonably priced accomodations, food and drinks. We enjoyed our meals at the resort restaurant and drinks during happy hour. Enjoyed the introduction to scuba diving. We even had two kids do the course and it was amazing to see my nephew dive for the first time and he is only 10. We will definitely be back.

Lots of steps for Villa’s on the upper part of the resort but they were very transparent about this during the booking.

The location and design create an atmosphere of true freedom. The villas are comfortable and have spacious rooms with a separation between the parents' floor and the children's floor.

The beach is full of plants and is not inviting for swimming. The wooden surface by the pool is rotten and poses a danger to anyone who steps on it. Breakfast is not buffet style but limited to a choice from a menu. Drinks are limited to regular coffee only. Anything beyond that is an additional charge. I would expect a boutique hotel located in a secluded location to pamper its guests with a greater variety of dining, entertainment, and attraction options. The hotel does not provide free shuttle (boat) services from the hotel to the beach, but only upon arrival and departure. Such service during your stay is subject to a fee, which gives the feeling that you are completely at the mercy of the hotel in all matters related to food and activities

The place is perfect for relaxation, away from everything. My family truly enjoyed the peace and privacy of the place. We did not leave the resort at all. I especially enjoyed diving with them. Professional DMs, well-maintained gears, and they pay attention to what the divers prefer so they brought me to dive sites with gorgeous reefs! And maybe this is just me, but I also liked the natural alarm clock of a gecko's sound in our villa. 🤭 We really enjoyed our time, thanks to the very friendly and caring staff. We'll be back!

The clear glasses on the ground floor of our villa perhaps should be frosted or covered with blinds. People could see us going down the stairs or coming out of the bathroom. The glass in the shower could also be frosted from floor to ceiling. We could see the balcony of the villa above us while in the shower.

Fantastic resort. The villas are beautiful and well taken care of, and the garden, vegetation and the pool are amazing. Very easy communication and coordination since we were a big group. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, and very efficient. They accommodated all our requests and were always thinking in advance. This has never happened to us in other resorts, so congratulations for such a great team.

The dive shop could be improved (although is not from the hotel actually) but will advise to ensure they give as good service in the dive shop like in the resort.

Service was amazing from the reception party to any requests we made. They were a few things that required staff attention. Issues were taking care of right away. The diving staff were incredible. If given the opportunity, we will return. We wish we stay longer. We appreciated the fact that we were away from the main busy area.

We had to pay for the boat. We wish all both trio would be complementary. It is a minor negative but wish the resort would consider offering it in the future. We had couple issue with our room but was dealt right away.

The staff at the resort are exceptionally friendly and responsive. They helped us organize the snorkeling trip and our transportation back to Manila. The cottages are spacious and bigger than expected. There's coffee and tea in the room. The fridge also has a good size. Towels and toiletries are of good quality. The food is simple but decent.

Getting to the resort can be tedious. The ferries to and from Puerta Galera never seem to depart or arrive on time. The terminals get very crowded and chaotic during holiday season. From Puerta Galera port one needs to take a toktok to go to Muelle harbor and from there a boat to Casalay. The beach in front of the resort is not good for swimming. We walked to Coco Beach during low tide. The beach is a bit dirty. The list of beverages could be expanded. Strangely, the resort did not have buko juice.

Location, pool and food were amazing. Rooms were cozy and rooms stayed nice and cool with the AC. Staff were incredible and help you with anything you needed!

Lots of stairs on the property to get to rooms but not bad at all. Like a little workout each time you go up, especially the highest point which is about 200 stairs. Room we stayed had some damaged cabinets and the shower was rusted and not working properly but more age related stuff.

Absolutely stunning! Beautiful location and fabulous private Villas. The staff were amazing and the food was delicious . Luxury stay at an affordable price. Lovely quiet, chilled out vibe. Will come back for sure!

I only received a message about a free shuttle boat to the property on the day of check in. As I was travelling and had no WiFi I missed the message. I had to walk for 15 mins in the dark to get to the property. The locals were super friendly and helped me with my bags but I had no idea where I was going! Contact the property in plenty of time to book in the free shuttle boat. You can only get a Tuk Tuk to the road 15 minutes from the resort.
