We were only planning to stay 4 nights and due to Typhoon Carina, we had to extend our stay one more night since the ferry service from Port Baletero to Batangas City got canceled. Anne, the front desk supervisor, was very helpful and gave us similar rate to the Booking . com rate. We had 2 rooms reserved: the premium suite and a standard room for our daughter. The premium suite was spacious and had a large balcony with sea view. The standard room is in the older building & had a small kitchenette. We had to switch room on our 2nd day since the bathroom had foul odor that didn’t go away after maintenance took care of it. The resort had a restaurant/bar and the prices are on the high side compared to the other restaurants in the area. The Chef was accommodating to my special requests. They offer happy hour from 5-7 pm. Cocktails and wine are 25 percent off. Our primary reason for visiting Mindoro and staying in this resort was for scuba diving. They have state of the art equipment. It rained during most of our stay. I only had 1 dive per day during the morning. My husband and daughter dove twice a day. The resort location is close to town which is convenient. The staff were very nice, helpful, and friendly. They were also very responsive to my inquiry prior to arriving at the resort. It was our first time in Mindoro and figuring out the transportation options was a challenge. Overall, we enjoyed our 5 nights stay in this resort at the end of July.

The only thing that we wished for was the resort accept credit cards without the 4.25 percent charge. One important factor to consider is there are no elevators and there are lots of steps going up and down to our room.

I liked the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff including the housekeeping and maintenance team. They are always ready to assist your needs. I also loved the ocean view from the big balcony of our villa, it was amazing! We had a great time bonding while having a bbq dinner :) The 24 hour food order and amenities was also a plus for us. We liked that we can swim, play billiards and eat anytime :)

I think the stairs going to our 7th floor villa was a bit intimidating haha! The lift from the 3rd floor helped a lot with this issue. I just hoped the lift was on the ground floor. We ate mostly from the resort’s resto and we all feel as a group that the food was a bit too salty for our taste.

The staff were friendly, helpful and very attentive. The rooms were large, clean, comfortable and had great views. The food and drink were great and the pool was lovely after a day in the sun and sea. The location was great, right on the beach and you could swim 2m or so from the steps up to the lobby area. I saw a turtle while snorkeling around 50m from the hotel! The tv in the room had loads of tv and films including some very up to date titles (I put this last as it isn't as important as some other details but it was nice to chill in the room on occasion with a good film!). Can't over hype Lalaguna Villas enough! If you are a diver or an aspiring diver this place is epic. I would love to go back and do a full diving course with them but just as a freediver doing my own thing or snorkelling with the family it was amazing!

The "1/2 day snorkelling trip" organised through the hotel with a local boat operator, was around an hour and a half long at most and the spots visited weren't nearly as good as the island hopping tourl which was on one of the hotles own boats.

From the first contact the staff were wonderful, organising transport from Manila. Upon arrival to LLV first impression was awesome. I had booked PADI dive courses the reason for my trip. Very well organised and professional a special mention to my wonderful instructor Jha, thank you for your patience and skills taught and also thanks for all involved in the dive shop all there to make your diving experience the best and another thanks to the great boat skippers getting us out to dive site and back again. Great dive shop both at LLV aswell as their shop in Sabang. Very clean well organised resort, nothing was to much trouble for the staff. Great location with less than 10min walk to Sabang, dive boat at the doorstep, and the awesome staff both local and expats, very welcoming. Overall had great time both in resort and the awesome diving. As this was my first diving experience it was a great introduction. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this resort if just relaxing or seeking a dive experience. Once again thankyou all for your hospitality. 5✨️

This is an excellent hotel on a number of levels. It's on the beach of course - so handy for diving etc. The staff is first class. The food is fab. The facilities- now with a new gym/fitness suite - are all excellent. There's a pool table in the bar/cafe - free of charge. The swimming pool is also lovely - both for swimmers and learner divers. The service privided by the staff s like what you get at Singapore Raffles. There's free hot and cold water in the rooms. The rooms themselves are excellent. Fab shower. Comfy bed etc. In summary, if you're staying in Sabang then LLV is as good as it gets I've stayed here a good few times and it gets better and better every year.

The team was impressive, cheerful, and friendly. Excellent caring service. Excellent food and drinks to enjoy between dives. Excellent dive shop, professional dive masters/instructors that took good care of us. Good and well-maintained dive equipment. The dive boat crew was good and caring too. Though we couldn't go to Verde Island due to the weather, they arranged a one-on-one dive at the Canyons, which was the most remarkable dive there for us. Obviously, sitting around good dive sites also contributed to our enjoyable experience in this resort. Room was well-equipped, clean, and spacious. Life was easy during our stay.

It was a beautiful hotel with an amazing pool and restaurant. The food at the restaurant was amazing and the staff were so kind and helpful. It is a bit out of the way - so keep in mind that you might need to walk a bit to get back into town, but everything is also available at the hotel. I would recommend getting the hotel provided transport to and from the port. They will come pick you up in a private speedboat from the main park of town

The resort itself is magnificent. Wonderful location and just a walking distance from Sabang PG. All the staff are friendly, helpful and caring to my family. They help us to organise all the transportation on the way to PG and back to Batangas. The foods they serving in the restaurant is top class. It’s a very safe place for my children. Very family friendly.

well appointed, very comfortable beds, beautiful new renovation, a top class accommodation. A water dispenser provided in every room giving you fresh, pure cold water for drinking etc and hot water for tea and coffee. lovely pool to lounge around. Exceptionally food, we ate in every night, really top class food and chefs cooking. wonderful staff, thanks esp, Mitch, Mel and Ben

It’s a bit of a walk to main area, about 750m, but that means it’s nice and quiet. Hotel is set around pool and climbs up the hill creating a bit of an amphitheater. Bar is next to pool and noise can drift up from there if people are rowdy ( although this only happened around dinner time, it was quiet during the night) There is no beach at Sabang, diving is the main focus, quite a small town but nice people. we didn’t dive but hired scooters and plenty to see around the area such as beautiful white beach
